Not to impress but to reminisce the time were still together, its her favorite song and it became mine too. I have already learned the acoustic version. I want to sing this song for her one last time and maybe then i will be able to move on.
No chit-chat, no bs. Just plays song, with fretboard clearly visible, along-side tabs+notes. A message to other RUclips creators: watch this guy, and take notes.
This makes so much more sense than looking at a tab sheet, I understood the tabs but now how to bend. But watching the guy push up with both fingers one on the fret you should bend and the fret before that makes way more sense. It allows an easier bend and a smoother sound. Great video and easy to understand
EXACTLY. Sometimes i wish i didnt know how music is played because, before this, i was like, how do they make the guitar sound like that. Speciall the third bend sounds quite unusual and almost disonant. And then you realize its sooo easy that is like you were revealed a magic trick, and it no longer amazes you... I mean i still enjoy the song but... I dont know if anybody feels the same.

How about the setup for the amp? I'm still learning but have NO idea on what type of amp do I need to play this or any FX. (I do have a modeling amp to make it easier on myself). It would be great if these lessons included that information.
It will go out of tune if you have flying tremolo even if just a little, but on the whole you want notice that. Anyway i found a video here on YT on how to set tremolo to stay in tune even when using tremolo bar. Secret is to set your tremolo so that (using whammy bar) when you pull up the G string you get a minor 3rd, B string a whole step, E string an half step.
Hey Dave, thank you man! I'll try that. So in this time I play the song with only one string and put a little bit of drive and delay. It's not perfect, but sounds good! 😎😎
Any chance you can transpose into E? Need to change the key because of our singer. New Chords would be E, B A in the verse and A C#m & B in the chorus. "Help us Obe Wun Kenobi you're our only hope"!
I cannot for the life of me get my guitar to sound anything like what he's playing at :15. Is he bending the G string at 8 and 9? Literally doesnt sound anything like that at all...I suck!
Bois who did this to impress there crush gotta like
Ha! me
I'm a girl and I can play this. too bad my crush wouldn't be able to impress me with this song lol, maybe some led zepplin tho
@@savannahjeanne79 isn’t that harder

Finally. There isn't a decent tutorial of this song out there other than this, 👌. Perfecto
So so simple but gives a thrilling feeling

The only way to make tutorials, I love it.
Thank You very much❤️

Great tutorial, thanks! Could you do a tutorial on the acoustic version please?
maybe ! I’ll put it on my list, thank you.
Nice you have just earned another subscriber
Are you using any pedals? I love the tone.
Amazing!! What guitar are you playing on? I love the sound
Hi! this is Fender American Standard Stratocaster '13
tq so much man, have a good life for you and your family!
thank you!
what effects are you using ?
cool bro , what effect do u use?
Amp setting?
nice tone
Thanks for decent tutorial, its not so simple song with all that bending but I'll get to it ...
Thank you so much, is beautiful
Damn this is amazing. Thanks for the great tutorial! What effects/pedals did you use exactly?
I used amplitube's Fender Amp simulation, Logic Pro X delay + Valhalla Reverb plugin; in real life i use Strymon Pedals and Fender/Egnater amps 😄
basicallly all you need is a clean tone, a compressor and a long reverb!
@@davebrocks cheers bro 👍🏻
@@davebrocks how much would you say all of your pedals costed, exactly?
Brother, what are you using for tone on this? Pedal specific/amp specific/pickup specific please❤❤❤love the video❤love the channel
guitar: fender stratocaster am pro '13 w/ custom shop pickups.
amp: fender hot rod deluxe (also Vox ac 15/30 would be good)
comp: Xotic SP / Mooer Yellow Comp
OD: Ibanez TS9
reverb: Valhalla VST / Strymon / Eventide
@@davebrocks Thank you
Awesome!! But.. in live version 1:15 Buckland plays some arregments, can you help me with that pls

hello do you have guitar tab or gp file that i could print ?
Yes I agree very well done!!!
great!! What about the Tone?
Hi bro, what reverb pedal or setting did you use? It sounds amazing! Keep rocking
Hi 👋 I used the Valhalla Reverb plugin, I suggest you to check Strymon pedals to get this kind of tone or at least Eventide or similar.
Sound gorgeous rich and deep. Well done and played! Thank you for your reply!
What effects pedals kind sir?
Thanks you so much!!
how do your fingertips feel after playing this? asking for a friend :)
Not a guitarist but being one for a school function, damn, my skin feels like it's about to slice off😂
Perfeito! nice man!!
Do I need a pedal? How should I set the speaker to sound like that? Thank you 🙏🏼
Clean channel GAIN 10/10 TREBLE 6/10 MIDDLE 7/10 BASS 5/10
A Big Reverb, Comp and eventually an OD
How about the setup for the amp? I'm still learning but have NO idea on what type of amp do I need to play this or any FX. (I do have a modeling amp to make it easier on myself). It would be great if these lessons included that information.
basically a Fender AMP on clean channel + comp + delay + reverb.
@@davebrocks thank you very much!. It was Awesome you replied.
Thin gauge strings needed I think. Tricky on my 009-042 super slinky’s 😂
Amazing job can you also upload only your electric guitar sound so that I can play along with a acoustic guitar
if were using the original tuning we just move the high e string up a fret?
down a fret, Eb
@@davebrocks by down you mean closer to the top?
@@p10rambo lower, closer to capo! Your E string should sound like 4th fret on second string.
great tutorial! ty for sharing with us
Muhammad Aiman Naim you’re welcome !
Great tutorial ! Really helped me!
That’s nice to hear ! 😊
Is there a backing track without your playing er can practice with after having learned it?
What Guitar effecs/pedal did u use on this?
How did you get that wonderful delay and reverb tone dialed in?
I used Logic Pro X delay + Valhalla Reverb plugin; in real life i use Strymon Pedals 😄
Is this unplayable on an accoustic?
To bend on an acoustic is kinda challenging 🧐
@ it really is though 😓
What are your amp settings?
Like how much gain and treble
I usually set treble at 7/12; gain at 8/12.
I was doing this without a pedal now it makes sense. anyways what does a pedal do specifically?
it depends on the pedal 😀
@@davebrocks I just got the m9 line 6 multi effect board. What effects would make this song possible?
idk why does my guitar sounds different when I followed the exactly same thing as u did. Pls helppp
what you did?
@@davebrocks Just the beginning part, when i try to move the G string up, it doesn't sound the same as urs
@@bibii-4761 keep trying and make sure you’re playing the right notes! 😉
@@davebrocks I'm pretty sure I'm playing the right notes. Do I hv to bend harder or something
@@bibii-4761 you have to make a full bend: play the target note 2 frets higher and then check if your bending reach the same tune.
do you still strum the B and E string when playing the intro? it sounds very off when i strum the 2 strings when i bend the G string.
Nice job men
Hi how did you manage to set up the tremolo so the B string doesn't go out of tune when you bend the G string?
Good question.. Should don't playable at guitar with flying tremolo... 😢

why does my electric guitar sound off when i play the riff? :(

Perfecto!
For the Electric guitar part you don’t need to tune the high “E" down a half step to “Dsharp"
You do that only for the acoustic guitar.
Entonces no es necesario cambiar la nota mi por la nota re gracias
great video!!
How do you mute the Dstring when strumming the bend G string cuz it interfering
Hi, you don't have to pick the D string and you shall also mute it with your 3rd finger.
Awesome !!!
great tutorial!
Fantastic.Could you teach how the effects modulated please?
I will make videos about my rig/sound.
does the guitar need a different tuning because it sounds off when i play it (i may just be bad)
I used standard tuning, pay attention on muting the strings that don't have to sound.
Hi .............. Thank you 😊
this is accurate af
What pedals you used
Compressor - Delay - Reverb
All i got to say is wow! thank u thank u thank u

Merinding 😢
amp settings?
I usually set treble at 8/12, middle at 7/12, bass 5/12 - gain at 8/12. A good bunch of reverb if you have it 😁
Where actually is the solo it’s just repeated bar chords ?
basically it's the lead part, same as the intro.
