Hi, Poland guy here :D I'd just like to say, Aldra is on another level of youtuber. I asked 3 times for this, every time I had a response from Aldra, and finally I even got told its in editing the 3rd time. I love that he takes his time to check every single comment, even if they had 1 like or 2 (like for mine), even if they posted it on a video 2 weeks old (mine again), he was still there to search through hundreds of comments to find lil ones like mine If it werent for Hoi4 not being that popular now a days, you would already have a placat of silver, maybe even gold, for how much you care about this channel and its community. And hey, when I get the money to spare, I'll allocate it to a membership to this great channel! Thank you Aldra!
i so agree, it's even among smaller youtuber rare to see them that dedicated to their communities and it's also rare to see basically only nice people in the comments, especially hoi4 with ww2 and all the political decisions and ideologies often invites radical people to comment some stupid or even racist stuff also greetings from Germany
For the most part, you pretty much just had a historical WW2, an operation unthinkable that came to fruition, and you restored the polish-lithuanian commonwealth. Good stuff, man! As the scrolls of prophecy one foretold, "Poland can into space".
18:00 I have a book written by one of the soldiers who served with wojtek, it says that they found him when he was little and raised him like a pet so he was not dangerous to people, during the battle of monte casino he helped load artillery guns. italians were probably terrified seeing a bear loading a artillery gun such an amazing story
3-way world war but Allies use only Bob Semple Tanks, Axis use only Italian Light tanks, and Comintern uses infantry only, maximum-slot human wave tactics without support equipment.
I'd love to say if I prefer black ice or vanilla but honestly I think we all need to see a Polish Black Ice run to get a fair apples to apples comparison ;)
Tip for the Peasant's strike: the focus adds 70 days to the strike timer so you can get down even to 1 day left and still be able to do the focus while prioritizing more important foci beforehand
Sorry Aldrahill but you're the BICE guy now. You're my dealer and i need my fix. But on a more serious note: i would love if you made a 'historical' japan game where you play the government, one guy plays the army and one the navy. Both have their own objectives but only one can win. And apart from what they start with you decide what they get. Could be some really fun roleplay
3:54 the reason for this 50/50% chance us because you had sanation left irratation on maximum irritation. This focus increased the irritation and if the irritation Goes beyond it's max level than u have either a civil war or an event
8:00 Small correction - Romanian Bridgehead Strategy was not about evacuating through Romania. It was a plan of war with germany to shorthen the frontline. Poles assumed that they would be able to fall back more or less in tact over and over again untill army reacherd southen provinces were due to shortened frontline and thus higher concentration of troops Poles could dig down and try eastern version of trench warfare. Romania in this plan was meant to serve as bridge for allied supplies since at that time Poland would loose 99% of it's industrial capacity.
I stopped playing Hoi4 years ago but thanks to you I am once again drawn into watching it. You make great and interesting content and I enjoy your commentary even as a background noise sometimes. Thanks for providing me quality time on youtube I hope you keep it up man!
Oh damn dude what a lovely thing to say! Thank you so much! I’m varying varying success with videos recently (especially the last one!!) but your comment makes it all worthwhile
The date of the plane's manufacture does not determine the in-game body, but the design doctrine itself. The PZL P-24's gull wings were totally outdated by the time. Low-wing fighters were beginning to be produced by numerous countries for their front line fighters. It was no more than an upgrade of the PZL P-11, an early 30's plane
Great video, also in polish that ą in jastrząb is prouneced more like "oh" and the j sounds like y and the rz as zh so in the end it should some something like yastzhohb (I tried my best at explaining this lol)
I am now begging for a Canada vid with historical divisions. For an extra challenge, I’d suggest the cool better mechanics mod collection, as it changes enough to be a new experience with more challenging mechanics
Its interesting because the Romanian bridgehead strategy is not something I have heard of. Actually what I have heard is it was Hungary who let Polish people flee through their country.
@Aldrahill Do you know about the FEB? 25k men were sent to fight on Italy. They did, indeed, helped a lot to break the German lines on the Setentrional Alpes. The smoking snakes are still remembered in some Italian cities.
Well done man you really are something else in hoi4! Could you go for a run with morocco/algeria to form Al-andalus ? Would love to see if you can do it hehe Vanilla has unbearable minor trees so i would recommend road to 56 for that if you wanna try it ^^
About the video brightness. It’s definitely brighter, but it looks like you took the saturation slider to the max. I don’t remember if your other videos looked dark in comparison, at least I didn’t notice.
The historical path is for Edward Śmigły Rydz to take power (also to be the leader at the start, similarly to how the british PM is the leader, not the king). The president Mościcki still technically was the dictator of Poland (also our Constitution granted him basically a king's reign) but Rydz Śmigły was in real control. Similarly Piłsudski wasn't the president in the interwar period but he still controlled the state. In short it was a military dictatorship.

Oh that's cool!
Is it true that Wojtek attacked an arab spy?
Are my eyes deceiving me or is this video called playing historical China? Amazing video as always!
Yeah I’m just stupid xD fixed it now! And thank you, much appreciated :)
7:25 - polish chads using mountains as weapons
Polska Góra
D-Day in the south is Operation Dragoon, the naval invasion that occurred a year after D-Day in occupied Provence
You’re very right!
It didnt occur a year later, it happened in august, I think like 20th or smth
3-way world war but Allies use only Bob Semple Tanks, Axis use only Italian Light tanks, and Comintern uses infantry only, maximum-slot human wave tactics without support equipment.
Probably just Comintern irl, in hoi, it may still be the Comintern.

If you're planning to do this for every country in the game then I'm excited for Australia!
Indeed! Might need to do a little compilation for minor countries though, as there isn’t much content for the commonwealth countries in historical

Thanks so much buddy! :)
2:55 PZL.24 is basically an upgraded PZL.11
Poland's Sanation path is so much fun when I play it. I love balancing the Left and Right, playing them against each other and getting bonuses
Love this series, can't wait to see more!
Did you know when Poland as part of Allies was pressured to declare war on Japan, Japanese diplomate respectfuly refused the war declaration.
Awesome video again! Hopefully historical Finland is coming soon :D
