@@jaaj9266 He didn't refuse it, he couldn't medically get vaccinated because of a pre-existing condition so he couldn't go on tour abroad with them. They wanted him back to tour with them when they returned to the states but he refused to rejoin the group. Get your facts straight.
Yeah man they were a big part of the Inland Empire scene with Face to Face, Vodoo Glow Skulls, Guttermouth plus lots of other bands. I remember going to see them at super small shows and hanging out with them. It was a fun time we had a venue Munchies in Pomona behind a burger store. Spankys in Riverside was crazy tons of punk bands played there. I remember when Smash hit became huge was living in SLO at the time. My guilty pleasure is "Pretty fly for a white guy" its cheesy as hell but people who are into pop not punk usually dig it same as "All the small things". Ignition was there best album for sure also earlier songs. Wally George Hot Seat was the best btw loved watching him his show was super entertaining. But yeah The Offspring are definitely a great punk band and helped Epitaph records as well.
@@joshbanks9261I’m from slo also. This was my favorite band way back in the day scating down California or higuera st or south st and this album ( smash ) was in my headphones along with ixnay and Americana at least 80percent of the time
It's funny seeing this now. My brother and I practice every Monday. We rarely play covers, but last night, I suddenly felt like playing "Gotta Get Away" on drums. My brother quickly remembered the chords and nailed the lyrics/vocals. We played the whole way through. It felt so good because The Offspring was the band that made me interested in guitar and to be better at drumming. Happy fucking 29th, you animals!

Yeah, back in the day you could earn 50 whole bucks for a show and it had to "pay" three or four guys/girls, pay for strings and drumsticks, and pay for enough gas to drive 1,000 miles to the next show, costing ~300-500 bucks just to earn another 50 bucks :)
They earned every bit of their fame. Great band, super nice guys.
"Super nice guys" why don't they bring there drummer back after he refused the jab?

"I'm looking at him right now" Dexter's story got me laughing 😂

That was fun as hell 😅
They made pank-rock mainstream in my country when I was a kid. I am their fan since then. Lovley memories ❤
Smash one of the best punk rock albums ever!!!
❤️ this band
I cant listen to the whole thing but my fave part is about the kitchen, its your story, Dexter, very funny!
Dismiss them as "that '90s band" but Dexter and Noodles are ALWAYS fucking cool. Near and dear to the 'punk' part of all our minds & hearts :)
Great!
🖤
I love this Album... 😊
Cool man

Nice
With out a good manager I don't care how good you are you ain't going anywhere. I learned that the hard way. My band was as good as any of those bands
