Thanks for having me in the video! The R.O.B question was a tough one. I feel like my guess wasn’t too terrible for not knowing what the right answer was. I was thinking about the stages that have a visible battery light that turn off when the game ends (like Dream Land GB) when I answered this question. Ggs to everyone who got the questions correct.
I would think it was when ROB is sleeping, but with his non-tech animation in mind it makes sense....

For the palatenas guidance one there’s a second one, duck hunt (duo). They specifically note the name in pal
There are more examples of characters with different a Palutena's Guidance based on region. Cloud specifically is the only one that actually has 2 separate ones in the same version of the game, nobody else's changes with mode/any other circumstances

The reason in knew incineroar and charizard is that they are fire types in Pokémon, and Inklings damage was mentioned in their reveal. Sonic was just a guess lol

The question about Palutena's Guidance, I thought the answer was Duck Hunt Duo, because the guidance is technically a little bit different when you consider they're called "Duck Hunt" in the American version.
Then it turns out he buggered up the question regardless

For the amiibo question, Isabelle would actually be tied as a valid answer with 10 amiibo. She has two figures from the Animal Crossing series, one Smash figure, an amiibo card in series 1, 2, 3 and 4 each, 2 cards in series 5, and a rare but separate promotional card released only with an issue of a Japanese magazine. And yes, all work in Smash!
I got 3. Kirby transformations, Idle Sounds, and Characters with multiple tabs in voices. (I think) Oh and Palutena's Guidance. For Idle sounds, I said Bowser, Bowser Jr, Joker, Zero Suit, and Ridley. If you're wondering, Bowser Pounds his chest and roars, Junior makes a cartoony sound when he looks, Joker spins his Gun, Zero Suit reloads her gun, and Ridley growls. For voices I said Bayonetta, Ike, Byleth, Corin, Robin, Inkling, and Bowser Jr.

You know, as someone who loves to read up on all this Smash trivia as well as someone with a pretty good memory span, I'd like to think that if I had been there somehow I would've probably gotten the $100. I knew most of these, including the mistaken Palutena's Guidance question, I only failed at the R.O.B. one (I would've answered when he's asleep), the amiibo one because I don't play Splatoon or care about amiibos, and the idle animations ones.

The Palutena's guidance questions is wrong. Pokemon Trainer, Wii Fit Trainer, and Bowser Jr. also have multiple guidances. WFT and Junior is based on the costume. If you don't count that fine, but Pokemon Trainer depends on if you switch during the match. If you do, you get the specific pokemon. If not, you get one for just the trainer

I think the Battle UI Portrait question was the easiest for me.
I knew Joker because the mask was a cool touch that stuck with me, and then Aegis is one of my mains so that was super easy since I see it all the time, and following that mechanic was Pokémon Trainer.

TLDR; I'm bad at guessing awnsers Yo I thought vernias' question was duck hunt (duo) because if you play the pal version palutena says somthing like "though they may be called the duck hunt duo in some ways the're more like a trio" which is exclusive to the PAL version of smash ultimate
There’s a large shortage of facts from past smash games
Answering without googling as soon as the questions are asked and before they're answered. I can't prove it, so believe me or don't:
1. 7 controllers for Smash 4: GameCube Controller, Wii U Gamepad, Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Remote and Nunchuck, Wii Remote, Wii Classic Controller, and 3DS
2. 4 Characters that take damage while swimming (Honestly didn't know there were four? Probably knew at one point.): Inkling I know for sure, beyond that I'd have to guess Charizard, Incineroar, and R.O.B.? [Update: I swear to god Sonic was on my mind but I didn't think that was the case]
3. When does R.O.B.'s switch turn off?: When he runs out of Stamina?
4. Top 3 series with the most Spirits: Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Wii Fit? I know there are a lot of yoga poses. [Honestly, I really underestimated just how many spirits were in the game. My excuse is I've been playing Brawl and Pokemon is hilariously underepresented with stickers there. I feel a bit silly guessing Wii Fit now. I really should've gotten this one right but still probably would've guessed Kirby before Pokemon.]
5. 12 characters with more than one voice option: Bowser Jr., Robin, Corrin, Mii, Byleth, Pokemon Trainer... The rest I'm shaky on. Maybe Joker because of Arsene and Mona? Little Mac includes Doc Louis. Hero is several characters, though I don't know if they have different voices... and maybe Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, and Marth have their differing Japanese voices? That makes 12, so my final guess is Bowser Jr., Robin, Corrin, Mii, Byleth, Pokemon Trainer, Joker, Little Mac, Hero, Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, and Marth. [Edit: I answered this before you asked him to name 7 with 3 wrong guesses... so I guess my answer is Bowser Jr., Robin, Corrin, Mii, Byleth, Pokemon Trainer, and Joker with Little Mac, Hero, and Mewtwo as the buffer for three wrong guesses since that's the order I wrote them in, but I think I would answer Mewtwo, Jugglypuff, and Marth before them... this one is a mess because I jumped the gun I guess. And now after revealing the answer, I feel even more stupid for not thinking about Wii Fit Trainer after referencing Wii Fit earlier in my answers or Inkling. Gdi]

Name 4 characters with 2 idle animations (Technically you phrased this question in a way where it could be interpreted as "name 4 characters that have more or less than 2 idle animations, but I assume this is what you meant): This is one of those things that I know you listed in one of your videos and I can't remember. I honestly have no clue... Peach, Daisy, Young Link and... Kirby? Honestly kinda pulling rabbits out of a hat on this one. [Update: Uh... I was completely confused by the phrasing of this question. You said every character except 6 has more or less than 2 idle animations, so... I luck out on technicality and get a new quesiton? Yeah?]
7. Name all 6 Kirby Down Speical transformations: Rock, Spike Ball, BotW Chest, Weight, Thwomp, Star Block. Buffer: Pink Box thing, and... idk, a stone statue? [Update: Rip, I guess you gave her the Star Block as the Pink Box thing, but I was guessing it as the Star Blocks from Kirby. I considered the pink box was a Panel de Pon/Kirby Avalanche reference but I didn't wanna look like a maniac calling it that in case I was wrong lol, anyway, I got this one correct and I'm proud of myself! I think the Star Block and statue are possible transformations in Kirby 64.]
8. One character w/ a different Palutena's Guidance: ...Holy crap, I didn't even know this was a thing. I'm tempted to say it's something super mundane like a change in pronouns for a character like Robin, but I don't think that's the case. I think my guess will be Pokemon Trainer since Charizard had one guidance in Smash 4 so maybe Squirtle and Ivysaur have different Guidances? [Update: I actually did know about this one! I just completely forgot about it in the moment. Probably learned it from you, actually. I thought I would've remembered the three Pokemon having different guidances.
What series has the 3rd most items in the game?: Legend of Zelda! Since you offered the free hint that it's not Smash and Mario, there's no way it could be anything else!
9. Who has the most unique amiibo figurines that work for Smash?: It has to be Mario, right? I mean, there's like a million Mario amiibo. [Update: I can't believe I didn't consider Inkling! I hate that they released duplicate amiibo that are just different colors! Even still, I'm not sure if I should be surprised there are so many specifically Inkling amiibo or so few Mario ones.]
10. Name all 7 characters whose names also appear in a stage name: The immediately obvious ones are Palutena (Palutena's Temple), Mario (Mario Bros.), Luigi (Luigi's Mansion), Peach (Princess Peach's Castle), Yoshi (Yoshi's Island/Story), and Wario (WarioWare, Inc.). Oh!! Duck Hunt! It took me an embarrassingly long time to think about that one, but here we are! I'm pretty confident in this list, but for my buffer just in case, I think I'd guess Kirby because I can't remember for sure if the GameBoy stage was Dream Land or Kirby's Dream Land as well as Mii because of Find Mii! I believe that stage is in Ultimate, right? Thinking about it, uh-oh, maybe I was wrong about one of the above... [Update: HA! I knew I'd get you on Mii! You can argue that the character is Mii Swordfighter, Brawler, and Gunner, but the announcer distinctly says "Mii" regardless of the class! Even if you wouldn't give me that, I got this right and bonus points! I also feel like there has to be cheese with Pit, Ike, or Roy that I'm just not thinking of. Those names are so short I feel like they have to appear somewhere in a string of text.
11. 5 of 8 characters that make a sound with their idle animation: Young Link, Link, Toon Link, Samus, Banjo & Kazooie. Buffer: Zero Suit Samus, Captain Falcon, Fox? This question makes me realize just how many characters should make sound with their idle animations but how few apparently do.
12. Name 3 characters whose portrait changes mid-match: This is another of your video things, I think. I wanna say Little Mac is one of them? Joker I believe changes and... Sephiroth? [Update: I'm absolutely stupid. Pyra/Mythra and Pokemon Trainer are so obvious in hindsight.]
So, how did I do? You didn't leave the answer to number 11 in the video, but I know I was way off in hindsight. I could swear that Link's boots and weapons made sound as he moved them. Anyway, that leaves me with 3/12 or 1:4! I think I did pretty alright all things considered... I expect my $300 check in the mail.
I feel like accepting "Star Block" as the panel de pon block is a reach, considering a brown rock with a star emblem on it has been one of the tranformations in pretty much every kirby game
