I hve an elo touchscreen monitor..i do not hve computer that goes on back..it works with xbox..but no sound! Will my windows lenovo laptop work to make it run?
Hi Jkou - sounds like one of the cameras in the corners has been damaged. I recommend you call Elo and ask them how to disable the damaged camera and use 3 cameras for calibration. If your screen is out of warranty and they will not help you, try googling how to do this. Good luck!
If you plug in an external PC then is the touch function non-functional? I imagine it would be since if connecting with HDMI I don't think anything other than audio video is going one way from the PC to the screen, I don't think HDMI takes anything like a touchscreen input back to the PC - correct?
You can plug in an external PC via HDMI. If you want to maintain touch capabilities, all you need to do is connect your PC to the screen with a USB cable and install the Elo touch drivers on your PC. Your PC will then recognize the touch screen as a mouse input.
Try gently wiping the sensors in the 4 corners of the screen with a cloth. Then, run the calibration option. Targets will appear on the screen that you touch. That makes the touch work much better.
Hi Antione, the device itself is a touchscreen with a built-in PC. I don't believe it will make any device you connect to it a touchscreen. This may be possible if you install the ELO touch drivers on your device. You would then need to connect to the screen via a HDMI cable (for display) and a USB cable (for the touch communication). I have not tested this. I recommend you check the ELO site for this info.

What does it mean when the touch goes the opposite direction during calibrating the touch? When I move touch, it goes inverted
