Keep in mind this like the X16 from MW2019 uses .45 ACP ammo, so you can pair this with SMGs like the Fennec, Striker .45, and ISO 45 for extra spare ammo if you're unwilling to run scavenger.

Strongly recommend trying the binary trigger with a tac stance build. It reduces the recoil more than any attachments would and keeps your sights clear
@911man77 it reminds me more of the 1911 pistol from vanguard. I hate in mw19 the pistol are so weak because of the fast ttk and on top of that they have so much unnecessary visual kick
the key attachment to use with the Binary Trigger kit is the XRK Dynamic Precision Stock. this significantly cuts down on the visual recoil and gun kick. it might be bugged honestly. don't know why Ace didn't include it in his setup.
Ace is an aggressive player and that stock either harms too much mobility or handling for him. I use the heaviest stock for almost every ads build and that stock is a must need IMO.
@@brawler5760 That's what I'm saying, you can easily see Ace is always running around the map. Unlike some or us share a very conservative playstyle, we don't get lots of kills but we have higher kd due to we play slow but safe.
@@LetrixAR if you can pull the trigger faster. Otherwise it isn’t with one headshot you’d kill in about 170 ms. You’d have to be insanely quick to achieve that.
The aftermarket stock with that conversion SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the conversion’s recoil. Almost like you should run it with the attachment. There is one other aftermarket attachment I can’t remember that helps with it as well
For pc players: u can install double-click macro on your mouse and use Cor-45 with lightning fire trigger. It's very effective to use in CQB and to finish enemy when you out of ammo on primary gun.
Awesome stuff Ace. Wonder why you didn’t mention akimbo. They are so overpowered up close with this. Could you maybe cover that attachment with pistols. The Wasp stingers akimbo are unreal !
No Dual set-up? My favorite build involves the Heavy Match trigger and the scarlet laser. From a standstill, it's pinpoint accurate. The horrible spread from the laser while moving, can be partially fixed by just crouching. I normally use a 30rd mag with it but I'm always swapping between ammo choices and a suppressor. It's just a fun build for me. I use it on most of my classes. Also pretty decent at taking down some killstreaks with AP Rounds.
Cor 45 with the conversion kit is my all time favorite. Pair it with the SZ Minitac dot, 30 rnd mag, vx pineapple vertical foregrip and the straight line stock. I forget the actual name but its the first one in the list. Effectively makes the Micro Roni and its really good.
Nah, akimbo Renetti's (with the barrel, laser and stock) are quite literally one of the best secondaries in any COD ever. Its easily the king of this game
On the aftermarket build if any of yall arnt having a ton of success try swapping out the sight for the stock that improves tac stance and the underbarrel for something that also buffs tac stance. The aftermarket build is a beast in medium range with a tac-stance focus, and the insane ads time of tac stance really helps offset the penaltys of the aftermarkt part.
As a PC user I can easily hit max fire rate… this is one of the few guns in the game that heavily favors PC users. In small maps sometimes I strictly use the COR45 because the TTK and accuracy are 2nd to none for PC users. Can also pull of some pretty decent long range shots as well… The XRK conversion is useless IMO…
Well, that or the COR-45 can be macroed to fire consistently at the max fire rate. This reason alone is why I don’t understand why the fastest trigger gives a 750 RPM cap when PC players can simply spam it with one programmed button press.
@@bobthebuilder9509 I think you can do that with ROG Raikiri, it's compatible with xbox and cheaper than scuf. Dunno if you can use Raikiri in CDL but you're probably not going to anyway.
PS5's gamepad has adaptive triggers you can regulate that allow you to shoot as fast as best PC mouse so not really. DS4 windows also has options to regulate triggers and a lot of people already use lighter cap for other reasons basically you dont need to pull trigger fully but very lightly to shoot so with proper setup it can act like rapid fire mod and very very easily be on par with mouse. COR doesnt really favour PC users,casuals wont use DS4 windows and setups but casual with a mouse also wont reach 750rpm too for sure. I dont know how trigger works on Series X gamepad but id assume they are fucked in that regard lol.
@@doooodeh Well for most people I believe can't reach 750rpm with whatever button it is. I'm 450rpm on mnk and around 250rpm on scuf instinct pro with trigger lock activated. But it's a lot easier to find a mouse that comes with auto click function than a controller that does the same.
Ace, I wasn't originally going to ask, since you seemed to suggest no, but today's outro leaves me a bit unsure. Will you cover the MWII weapons at all, even if in a just a brief overview video? I don't think that it makes sense to give each weapon its own video, but a video covering some of the changes from MWII (especially damage, at least past the first damage range, and range) would be nice. You could also do a video per weapon class. There were some surprises in the changes that Sledgehammer did. The SCAR-L (TAQ-56) and AK-105 (Kastov 545) were very similar weapons in MWII, but in this game, the SCAR-L appears to always be a 5 shot kill, while the AK-105 drops down to 7 at range.

This has been my favourite gun since the beta. It was pretty overpowered in the beta it was a 2 hit kill (only 1 bullet to the head) after unlocking the conversion kit I couldnt believe how good it was as I've never experienced binary fire spammability before😂
I wouldn't even just say it's the best secondary, this is one of the best weapons overall. 0 recoil, shockingly fast theoretical TTK, fast mobility, fast handling, tight hipfire, subsonic ammo so no skulls appearing on downed enemies, and the only real downside is that it's semiauto. I'm shocked it never caught another nerf after they nerfed it following the beta. It's still top tier. When my primary runs out of ammo I'm perfectly comfortable switching to my COR-45. It's probably better than whatever primary I'm doing challenges for anyway lol.
My favorite build is very similar to the “Standard sidearm” build shown here, except I swapped the high grain round for the XRK stock. The other benefit with the stock is TAC Stance. It’s fantastic on this gun.
The Cor-45 is an absolute MONSTER in hardcore. Great movement and handling. Put rounds that increase bullet penetration and basically never deal with hit markers.
I still use the daemon. It’s pretty consistent for me. One of the best pistol that drop in mw2 but they dropped it pretty late which is toward the end of the life cycle of the game
Thanks for the gun guide as always. The COR-45 has been my go to secondary although I have all the launch pustols forged. I had to pinch and zoom on one of your previous videos on builds in which on the top right corner you showed the COR-45. Was your quick draw build and now I have that as the pinching and zooming blurred out a lot of the attachment names. Now I've got that and updating my classes. 👍
I've been watching these videos for quite some time now, but I feel like I should inform the player-base that if you're playing on a controller, the recoil is reduced by 85% and horizontal recoil in mitigated by 78%. Effectively making all weapons drastically better on controller v KBM. This applies when you're on target and not free-aiming, if you'd like to experience the recoil seen here, you'll have to disable the Aim Assists in your settings.
Meh, it may not be an optimal setup, but I’ve always thought it was good (with most guns, in the right hands). In close range it melts people like crazy. But I do enjoy having this on as a fun secondary to switch to, but has earned me a good share of nukes when my primary might run out of ammo.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of the 1911 just because it is in like every single video game ever. The one thing that would make me happy to have the 1911 is if they include an "aftermarket kit" that turns it into that Italian version that fires two bullets at once. That would be incredible and also hilarious

Small thing Ace! I think the conversion kit actually does get to full auto if you spam it. I’ve noticed I’ll end up with an odd number of rounds left which shouldn’t happen since you should always fire 2 rounds
The delay between when you pull the pistol out with QuickDraw and when you are actually able to fire it pisses me off so much. I’ve lost so many gun fights because there’s a delay in when you can actually fire the pistol.
John Wick's pistol of choice if he were to be in mwiii. Time after time I've managed to gun down so many players either up close or from a respectable distance and at times engaging at least 2 or 3 enemy players
Unfortunately this pistol is so good it practically invalidates every other semi auto handgun. Others have said it, but it needs to be emphasized, the COR-45 built for akimbo hipfire is one of the most broken builds you can make. It kills lightning fast, has amazing handling speeds and a deceptively long range of effectiveness. Attach a suppressor and you can be a menace.
On keyboard and mouse the conversion kit is a God send. There is absolutely NO recoil on keyboard and mouse. Its basically a solid SMG in your back pocket
Love the gun guides! Now that you've gotten through basically all of the weapons, and the MW2 weapons received their general movement and handling buffs, would you have any interest in doing an omnibus on the best weapons across all MW2 and MW3 for 6v6?
I shoot the fastest by using the base of my finger as opposed to the tip, if that makes sense, I find it requires alot less movement but it takes a little bit of getting used to holding the controller that way. Also I use my middle finger not index seems to be quicker for me at least
for me at least, using the base of my middle finger helps a lot. On Playstation controllers, I shoot with bumpers instead of triggers, and on Xbox controllers, set the trigger deadzone as low as possible. Hope this helps
Do you think the lightning trigger is worth it over the heavy match trigger if I can only sometimes get over 600rpm? It's definitely at the detriment of accuracy if I click that fast since I'm on mouse and keyboard, so combining that with downsides steers me away from that extra 150rpm, outside of shipment classes.
I haven’t given this secondary a fair chance because it looks like a basic Glock which typically aren’t very good in COD games. I’m now going to give it another look, thanks Ace!
Hi Ace, does the AKIMBO attachment alters the damage values, range, rate of fire and TTK? Is it a viable alternative for someone with slower trigger finger?
I love this gun, but I have to hit the swap r1 and r2 when using it. My standard controller triggers simply can't keep up with the xrk lighting fire but the bumpers sure can.
I love the kit, but it's to bad it doesn't have a quickdraw attachment... Makes the other pistols a better option most of the time. I personally can't use this without the kit (to slow trigger finger)
Getting pretty close. I think I'm at around 15 Priceless and I can blast through those quite fast but I only get about 6 hours a week to play and not all of that playtime can be for camo grinding since I need specific gameplay content as well. I'll likely have it wrapped up within the next few weeks.

Playing with a mouse makes this one of the best guns in the game. Much easier to click fast than pull a trigger fast, the problem becomes not OVERsampling the firerate. So yeah, this gun is basically the best handling automatic weapon in the game for me on top of having a 160ms TTK. And while it's not an AR, I can still melt people at mid range with this thing faster than the pea shooter that is the MCW.
You can't oversample this gun in my experience. If you're firing faster than the fire rate cap, it will even out and fire steadily at the cap, rather than lock up like you'd see with the guns that you can oversample.
I can get my finger to "quiver" reliably. It's a little awkward on mouse and not sure what they did with the trigger on controller input detection. Maybe console detects inputs a little differently, I don't own a modern one. BUT I remember that the trigger would take input from any point you pulled it from. For example, you could pull the trigger half way to fire one shot and without letting go, finishing pulling the trigger to get a second shot. Now it feels like you have to let the trigger reset fully before taking another shot.
My trigger finger is so bad that I can't reach over 450rpm with mnk😂 And that's in shooting range, in actual gunfights where I have to move my mouse simultaneously it's around 410rpm. I used to use triggers that decrease fire rate on daemon9 cuz the excessive fire rate is useless to me. The AMP kit is really a life saver for me on cor45.
I had a lot of fun with the conversion kit of this gun. I’m dun think pistols are a meta in this game though since every loser in this game is melee spamming with knife
This gun is too OP compared to old semi pistols. Compare this to x12, that gun is definitely worse in every way. SHG just make this gun to be sort of an all rounder pistol and made it too good they broke the gun balance. None of mw2 semi pistols have capabilities to reach 600rpm fire rate which is just sad. And with cor 45 has higher damage and range it’s far more viable than any other semi pistols.

Totally agree, my go to secondary is this on akimbo and I own people from weirdly long distances on it.

I was using it for awhile, but I still like the P890 simply for that potential 2 shot kill with a headshot.
3 headshots to kill with the COR-45 is faster than 2 with the P890.

Love the gun guides! Now that you've gotten through basically all of the weapons, and the MW2 weapons received their general movement and handling buffs, would you have any interest in doing an omnibus on the best weapons across all MW2 and MW3 for 6v6?

You can play with the trigger dead zones in the settings to better fit your trigger finger. My trigger finger sucks hahah
I shoot the fastest by using the base of my finger as opposed to the tip, if that makes sense, I find it requires alot less movement but it takes a little bit of getting used to holding the controller that way. Also I use my middle finger not index seems to be quicker for me at least
Also I forgot to mention I rock my hand against the trigger not so much bend the finger it self
for me at least, using the base of my middle finger helps a lot. On Playstation controllers, I shoot with bumpers instead of triggers, and on Xbox controllers, set the trigger deadzone as low as possible. Hope this helps
Do you think the lightning trigger is worth it over the heavy match trigger if I can only sometimes get over 600rpm? It's definitely at the detriment of accuracy if I click that fast since I'm on mouse and keyboard, so combining that with downsides steers me away from that extra 150rpm, outside of shipment classes.
COR-45 akimbo is definitely my goto for small maps core and general harcore. It's so easy.

Ace please make an akimbo class for the pistols, the akimbo COR is kinda broken in MP, Renetti as well. Worth looking into

Hi Ace, does the AKIMBO attachment alters the damage values, range, rate of fire and TTK? Is it a viable alternative for someone with slower trigger finger?
My fave secondary is the chimera. From day 1.
I love this gun, but I have to hit the swap r1 and r2 when using it. My standard controller triggers simply can't keep up with the xrk lighting fire but the bumpers sure can.

I love the kit, but it's to bad it doesn't have a quickdraw attachment... Makes the other pistols a better option most of the time. I personally can't use this without the kit (to slow trigger finger)

Getting pretty close. I think I'm at around 15 Priceless and I can blast through those quite fast but I only get about 6 hours a week to play and not all of that playtime can be for camo grinding since I need specific gameplay content as well. I'll likely have it wrapped up within the next few weeks.

Playing with a mouse makes this one of the best guns in the game. Much easier to click fast than pull a trigger fast, the problem becomes not OVERsampling the firerate. So yeah, this gun is basically the best handling automatic weapon in the game for me on top of having a 160ms TTK. And while it's not an AR, I can still melt people at mid range with this thing faster than the pea shooter that is the MCW.
You can't oversample this gun in my experience. If you're firing faster than the fire rate cap, it will even out and fire steadily at the cap, rather than lock up like you'd see with the guns that you can oversample.
I can get my finger to "quiver" reliably. It's a little awkward on mouse and not sure what they did with the trigger on controller input detection. Maybe console detects inputs a little differently, I don't own a modern one. BUT I remember that the trigger would take input from any point you pulled it from. For example, you could pull the trigger half way to fire one shot and without letting go, finishing pulling the trigger to get a second shot. Now it feels like you have to let the trigger reset fully before taking another shot.
My trigger finger is so bad that I can't reach over 450rpm with mnk😂 And that's in shooting range, in actual gunfights where I have to move my mouse simultaneously it's around 410rpm. I used to use triggers that decrease fire rate on daemon9 cuz the excessive fire rate is useless to me. The AMP kit is really a life saver for me on cor45.
The renetti biult for range with the right surpressor is the best side arm

Slap the Fde/tan solid color camo and it’s identical to my real life edc lol that’s why I run it in the game.
I had a lot of fun with the conversion kit of this gun. I’m dun think pistols are a meta in this game though since every loser in this game is melee spamming with knife

This gun is too OP compared to old semi pistols. Compare this to x12, that gun is definitely worse in every way. SHG just make this gun to be sort of an all rounder pistol and made it too good they broke the gun balance. None of mw2 semi pistols have capabilities to reach 600rpm fire rate which is just sad. And with cor 45 has higher damage and range it’s far more viable than any other semi pistols.

It bugs me that it's called "COR" instead of X and a number like the other games in the MW reboot saga name the pistols based in the Glock series.
