Lieber Paul!
This music and the organ are so quintessentially English that it’s a surprise in Germany. Splendidly played in the imperial spirit. With such enjoyment.
Paul this brilliant composition is going to be considered one of the great organ pieces ever composed and will be heard at organ recitals all over the world by generation after generation.
Beautiful sounding pipes. The tuba actually sounded like a tuba (to my untrained ears). You find some of the most interesting organs. Very much appreciated.
This is a great composition. I love all of Paul's Tuba and Trumpet Tunes.. A beautiful sounding organ and truly the solo stop for this is wonderful. A great video, Paul. I love the shots of the German village and style.
A wondrous , uplifting piece. I thought it was written by one of the ‘greats’. Very mature, slightly baroque cadences-but I know nothing about music, really. Highly accomplished talent.
Always good to hear “my” Gackenbach (ok, it’s not really mine, but I live so close, it could be!) in the hands of another organist. Great tune for a grand Tuba!👍
The end of that piece is a forceful lesson in two things: 1) how to resolve a chord progression back to tonic 2) remove every spider from the rafters Btw, the sock game just keeps getting better and better
That's a delightful piece. In England b is of course B-flat, but it'd be unusual for the Great organ to be played on the bottom Choir manual. The stop knobs would not be stacked so high but arranged side by side. The tuba is very nice, but the tubas I really like are those with more nasal tone and certainly not bright.😊
Hey, lieber Paul. PS: Du bist einfach gut!!!

Klasse Video 👍👍👍
Paul, i love your socks!! You are just too cute!! You're a gifted organist!!
I would really love to visit Gackenbach!
Awesome
Toooba and trumpets indeed ! Wonderfully played using your own tuba tune. What could be finer ???
What a splendid instrument! Who built it? I like the piece very much - and the very nimble performance. Absolutely delightful all round!
Love it a lot! Can you tell us the name of the church? I like looking up the churches and organs. :-)
Great video.
You made the tune sound very English, almost Victorian era, very different than the original video. From Chicago, U.S.A.
Lovely piece. Who built the organ?

Great! Would like to know your opinion about the english organ in St. Afra Berlin, Graunstraße. I admire your socks btw.
Do you remember the days when organists didn't play the organ in penguin socks - crazy! 😱😅😍
I play in my socks, too! But your socks are really cool!
Hola.
Paul, your jacket shows you only wear it when it comes out of the suit case! Might press is once in a blue moon Before you film!!

Isn't that wonderful. Slightly underpowered but that's a fine balance. It's a Rich Rounded Sound full of character.. Very nice indeed 🙂
He could have pressed his jacket first!
🐧⛪
You’re selling your sheet music too cheaply, Paul.
The socks ... A bit of dignity, please.
Awesome!! ✨
