Ausgezeichnet!!
Despite all the many out of tune reeds, I can tell that when everything is right, the organ has a glorious sound. Thank you for this great demonstration!
I do not have the knowledge of the various sections of the organ, I throughly enjoyed the demonstration of what the instrument can do with the explanation.
Every generation, a gifted artisan/maestro like you comes as a gift to us and showcase your prowess to numerous organs around of the world that has been not featured quiet a lot. More so, every single given time, you feature these organs with leaps and bounds that’s so pleasing to hear every time. Thanks again Paul!

Maestro, when you play the King of all instruments, the hair on my arms stands, Paul, I love listening to you play; God Bless you for all the happiness you bring the world, L Richard USA New York♥
Love your videos Paul. You are a brilliant organist and a fine young man. You will go far, with God's blessing. This is a great organ is an amazing church. Hope you can do a concert from here someetime soon.
Very interesting presentation of this magnificent abbey and this very beautiful organ. Bravo dear Paul. Guy (Miami) And by the way, very plaisant introduction, like you made for your first StLaurent visit, Rotterdam ❤❤❤
Paul, I have been following you for years and I love watching you be more than a magnificent organ player, but now, an enjoyable personality. More ! More ! More !
Bravo Paul. Paul, as we approach the celebration of Easter in two weeks I am hoping that you can play a wonder Easter Hymn, "The Strife is Over"(American version not English). Many thanks.
HI Paul. Glad that you recorded the Neresheim Abbey organ! I played and examined it in 1983, a few years after it was restored by Kuhn of Switzerland. It has a wonderful, rich sound and an amazingly complicated mechanical key action under the floor! Did you get to try the Choir organ, which plays electrically from the gallery console? Its stops are controlled by the rectangular buttons on the top of the console.
A great demonstration of this beautiful organ. The reverb in this space is amazing and greatly enhances the richness of the sound. The full Hauptwerk is incredible. I especially enjoyed the various flute stops, noticeably the 4 ft flutes. I'm sure this would be a wonderful instrument to perform on when the temperature is warmer and the tuning has been corrected. A great video ! Thank you , Paul .
Thanks Paul for the demonstration. Given that the shape of the organ is 4 separate tower cases linked with three high up smaller bridge cases between them, the mechanical linkage from the console must be very complex if as you say it’s a fully mechanical organ. Those pedal reeds are amazing in the acoustic. The organist’s view over the congregation from the console is one of the best I’ve seen. Lovely high baroque Rococco style monastery church. Hopefully the organ is being looked after even though it’s not played often.
Paul you managed well on that organ.... Its a beautiful church and a beautiful organ.... Its winter there and obviously they cannot heat that chuch for historic and actual monetary reasons which does cause multiple problems .... even the best organ in the world will not do well in cold.... I immensely enjoyed your tour of the organ stops.... Doc.
One of my absolute favourite organs in the whole world, too bad it seems to be in such need of restauration but all organs do from time to time though.
Appropriate that this Abbey is just a small step from heaven itself -- both in visual and (especially) auditory ways. Thank you so much for bringing the latter to us -- even in spite of those few weather-related imperfections! Now... if the heating system from the "lower regions" could be tapped as needed for the well-being of the organ and the comfort of the organist, that really would be heaven. No need to travel further. 😀
I wish I can be with you all the time you play. Organ music creates what looks like huge clouds that get mixed and turn into each other. I like your person and humility even though you are genius and masterful player. Love❤
Paul, thank you so much for your demonstration. It is thrilling to hear the sound of that instrument. And such a beautiful church! Must be what Heaven looks like.
There is another JN Holzhey organ sampled for Hauptwerk, the Weissenau one. And i think it is even better than Neresheim. The reverberation here in Neresheim is too extreme for my taste (some say its even 11s).

OH MY ! tThe organ and the whole church is made of beautiful multicolored marble!!. How old is the Church and organ? . is this a Catholic church? i hope so, The Organ sounds Heavenly Thank You for sharing it with us.❤
I hope you can come back here when the weather warms up.
Definitely will!!
That last cord was heaven
That church with that sunlight and the sound of that organ must be very much like going up to heaven
Ausgezeichnet!!
A GREAT instrument.
Brilliant Acoustic and Crystal clear Notes, Flutes, Trumpets! What a joyful experience! German Master-craft!
I can imagine that the Maintenance should be done by a highly specialised craftsman - a very unique skill!
Riesige Freude, vielen Dank 😀
Vielen Dank! 😀
Wow, Paul, this was great to hear. Newer crossed my mind that an organ can run out of air!! But it seems to be possible as you explained.
Before electricity, organs’ air had to be hand pumped. Maybe by choirboys?
Despite all the many out of tune reeds, I can tell that when everything is right, the organ has a glorious sound. Thank you for this great demonstration!

It is so good when you explain and play. You are good at this. and your English is clear and perfect
The Germans are sophisticated in teaching languages to children, starting at an early age. Clearly Paul has had such an education.
Großartige Arbeit Paul Fey ❤👍👌👏🙏
Just loved that reverb! Fantastic Paul!
Thank you so much!! 😀

Fantastische Klänge ❤👍👍👍
this building and the way the organs "enter" the walls if you see what I mean, letting the daylight enter is amazing
Love your videos Paul. You are a brilliant organist and a fine young man. You will go far, with God's blessing. This is a great organ is an amazing church. Hope you can do a concert from here someetime soon.

Really enjoy your talent and the wonderful sounds of those magnificent organs. The churches are beautiful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful music.

O,wie schön Paul.
Wenn ich das vorher gewusst hätte. Neresheim liegt in meiner Nähe. Herzlichen Dank.
This has the BEST sound I have ever heard! That REVERB is just so AWESOME!
Same!! I absolutely love the reverb in that church!! 😀
@@PaulFey I want to hear in real life! Must be UNREAL !! The BASS is SO big and WARM sounding!! Makes my 18" subs FLUTTER🤣

Thank you so much!!
Hey Paul. What s an amazing play. Nice nice very nice bravo and thanks

Bravo, Paul; great demo! I visited this abbey (in hot weather!) on an organ tour, and liked it a lot.
The reverberation is quite extreme! 😁
Just great!
nice demo! a beautifull church, this must be a big fest to play on this when the tuning is o.k.!
Sehr schön Paul Fey ich freue mich 👌👍👏
Paul, thank you so much for your demonstration. It is thrilling to hear the

so amazing, well done 👌👍
Köszönöm szépen !
Eine herrliche Orgel und ganz toll vorgeführt.
Das Video ist dir wieder toll gelungen . Prima Paul
This is a beautiful Organ! I know you enjoy playing the instrument.
This organ should be sampled, no doubts. I would spend any money for it.
There is another JN Holzhey organ sampled for Hauptwerk, the Weissenau one. And i think it is even better than Neresheim. The reverberation here in Neresheim is too extreme for my taste (some say its even 11s).

What a beauty! Mesmerizing!
BRAVO, sir! Incredible instrument(s), and excellent demonstrations!
The wonderful and very nice episode.

I can't believe it -- so much like Weingarten Abbey, including the organ console? Or am I seeing double. Thanks for this coming deo!

It's a gorgeous instrument on a phenomenal place, but what makes it rare? If anything, maybe exquisite is the word you're looking for.
Thank you for watching! 😀 Find me another combination of an organ from 17xx, huge church, amazing, white facade. That what makes it rare imo
OH MY GOD !!!
OH MY ! tThe organ and the whole church is made of beautiful multicolored marble!!. How old is the Church and organ? . is this a Catholic church? i hope so, The Organ sounds Heavenly Thank You for sharing it with us.❤
Ciao Paul e complimenti. Grazie
Why isn‘t that magnificent organ being maintained?
Peter Hugo also demontrated the Holzhey organ! God preserv his soul!🙏
Is the Abbey currently occupied by any monastic group?
What is the name of the song played at the end?
Very majestic sound from this organ. Glorious to hear!
sounds like a job for rieger!
From the opening principal 8' tones, you know it's south German...
OMG 8 seconds reverb? What to do with that???????? Can it be added to the piece as a counterpoint or something??
Seven to eight seconds of reverb? Someone get some Bruckner going in there.
Psalm 78: 71 From tending the nursing ewes; He made him the shepherd over Jacob, his people. And over Israel, his inheritance.
Hahaha, shouldn’t play in keys with a C… proceeds to play in E flat. 😂
