Disappointing and exciting too ! I love when you do videos about opening the egg sacs, it is absolutely thrilling !! Anxious to see how many slings there are and to watch them grow - thanks Dave your videos never leave us wanting - just wanting more LOL
R.i.p first spider babies but for the second spider congratulations also she didn't want 2 let go saying it's mine mine mine no touchy my babies. But also love the videos Dave keep up the good work.
That was awesome when you had so many babies after a bad sac. The babies are absolutely adorable. I love the way some are already walking. Congratulations to you both.
How sad, but these things do happen. Good thing they lay so many eggs at a time to make up for losses. It's such a beautiful spider too. I hope this is the last loss you have to face for a very long time, hopefully forever if we can help it. ♡
Man, I’m so impressed. I know this has been your hobby and you’re used to it, but it amazes me how patient you are! A month or more between mating and egg sacks for about every species, it must be so hard to wait for without knowing if it worked! Edit: that second sack was amazing too: i love how they went from all motion to all still, and then the motion came back like they were doing the wave!
Congratulations on the second sack and condolences on the first dave hopefully the 3rd is good too fingers crossed. Keep up the great work you guys are doing.
Thank you for another great video. These egg sac removal videos are my favourite. I love seeing the little slings or eggs with legs. I smile when waking up on Monday mornings here in Canada with a notification that you’ve posted a new video. Cheers to you and camera lady. Hope you’re doing well and staying safe from Covid 😊👍🏻
I really like the fact that you don't just show the successes but the failures as well. Not everything always goes to plan and not every pairing gives us the result we'd want. It's likely playing the lottery, except we're more likely to get a good sac, full of healthy slings rather than win the lottery ;) Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Sorry about the first one, that's a bummer, but the second one was awesome!! I'm curious about the dud for sure, but keep the videos coming, Dave!! Great content, and info (As per usual) !!!
Absolutely awesome! I hope the third one is just as awesome! I don't know how they survive in such a tight confined space. Congratulations Beastie Room!
I want to thank you for your videos because of watching you I have 2 trantulas. I have a fire leg and Hamorii.. I was afraid to get them because of my age 53 but watching you made me think it's ok...and I love my spiders ❤️❤️❤️
I still haven't decided whether I'm more fascinated with the little critters squirming around or freaked out by it! One thing is for sure, I can't seem to get enough of watching your channel! :)
Congratulations to par and mar! the noises you both let out when the 2nd sak was first opened was priceless! Knowing how much your heart is invested in these little guys truly is amazing! Much love and Thanks for sharing!
I wonder what happened with the first eggsack who was dry as stone, what can have caused that?! The other spider 🕷 mother did protect her eggsack! Nice to hear about the way mother spider goes about for creating that protective eggsack for her babies. It was a happy event to see the other eggsack with a lot of babies in it! Thank you Dave and Sweet Camera Lady for yet another wonderful video! Happy new week, hugs ❤🥰🤗 from Susanne and Trollet 🐱🐾❤. Take care!
Aww glad the second egg sack was a success. I have two of these, and I'm amazed at their colours as small slings. My two are getting bigger, one bigger than the other. Love these 😸
Great video as always bud, all them lil beauties looked amazing find it fascinating how clean a good egg sac is and shows mum looked after it perfectly
Another wonderful video, its a fair point to consider, as humans we have those of us who can conceive by just sitting on the wrong toilet seat lol, and those who are unable even after going through the pain and tribulations of IVF - why wouldn't we consider the same can happen within the animal kingdom. Congratulations on that wonderful egg sack full of beautiful babies, thanks for sharing and all you do for the invert community x
I really enjoyed this video! Same species, two pairings, two egg sacs. One sac a dismal failure, one a resounding triumph. A vivid demonstration that optimal, controlled conditions and care are not a guarantee of success. And a whole spectrum of influences to explore to try to make the next outcomes more rewarding.
So glad that the second egg sac was a success. I bought one of your Avic avic slings a month or so ago, and s/he is doing absolutely fine. I've been waiting to see how these egg sacs were doing as I'd love to get one of these slings too when they are ready 🙂
Another great video. And one of my favorite species. I love that you show that things don't always work out. It's the way things are in nature. Congrats on the second sac! Sure looks like a big healthy brood of littles! ♥️
@@daveslittlebeasties My pleasure. I dont name my T’s because my goal is to breed instead of handle/keep as a pet but I will have to name one of them Beastie for sure. Im thinking Heteroscodra maculata, Poecilitharia Metallica or Ceratogyrus darlingi… Big thumbs up from east USA
well PROFF you can never tell with nature. that good sack i hope has made the project well worth the effort . great information as usual from the difference in both sacks. thanks camera lady for your work making this video. take care guys many thanks
I was so sad to see the one didn't make it, I know that's part of nature. However I was so so happy to see all those wiggling little legs of the other sac. That is wonderful. Can't wait to hear the count. Congratulations on the success.
Amazing video. It’s great to see your videos and see the journey from the breeding to pulling the sac and the whole process of how a spider evolves. Sorry about the first one you pulled but great to see the second sac viable
Awwwe poor Mum she deffo didn't want to let go of her babies I wonder if she can feel the vibration from within the sac ... Well done Mum ya did a great job, another great vid n well done Camera Lady ..
As excited as I was for you getting such an amazing egg sac, Momma fought hard to keep and protect it...more so than others I've seen...kinda sad to see that...
These 15 minute videos remind me of those " in between my cartoons " shows. They're always very interesting 10 to 15 minute educational style shorts. I think at one point Art Attack was one of those as well. Either way I love these short information filled videos you release
You are great on this stuff and very interesting. Very knowledgeable. I love the rehomings, and the baby parts. I will say I will be gentle, and I will be calm, but I don't love spiders.
Lol Hey Dave & oh so helpful assistant?! Y’all need to get a pen light! Every time the spiders go down their dark little hidey-holes, we see squat😃. A cheapy pen light would make all the difference. One on a telescoping end would b ideal. Look at me getting nit-picky.😉 *Any pen light* would do.
Sound very poor at beginning of filming, but as our lovely Mrs C.L. came closer to you, audibly became stronger and clearer. I feel sorry for both of you, all the prep and work, maybe enclosure conditions not good for producing slings? Thank you Dave and Mrs C.L., again great filming and knowledge base.🥰🕷🕸
Great video, shame about the first sac, but the second sac more than made up for it! As Usual Dave and your beautiful assistant have educated me a little more, I love learning about all spiders, and you two teach me something new each week, thank you guys! ❤️
Ah brilliant Dave, just as well you had two sacs, on account of the first one, but second one was a very healthy sac Dave, anyway Dave another brilliant job by yourself and camera 📷 lady.
Very curious why one went wrong oh well, one was successful so congrats on the new eggs with legs, very professional as always, look forward to your podcast with Bethany's spiders on the 10th. Love your videos keep up the hard work
Hi Dave and Camera Lady 😘hope all's well with you both. I was gutted when I seen the first sac, with all the hardened babies inside 😞 Funny the way the mummy didn't defend or stop you taking it though. The other female would have tagged you in a heart beat it she had of had the chance 🤔😄 What a cracking sac the second one was though. Lots off babies inside. It was really nice to see them all in their nursery pot, it'll be interesting to see how many end up viable slings 🕷🕷🕷🕷 Congrats Granny and Granda 😘xxx Take care and stay safe 😘xxx

A real illustration of how creation works. The one female's egg sac failed, but the beautiful bounty of the second filled any gaps there might be in the environment. What a treat! I do love your channel.

Would be good to see a follow up vid similar to what you did with the P.regalis slings group housing; or change the way you produce this type of video in the future to include this section at the end, shot a couple of weeks later. Missed seeing loads of blue slings in this case.
I like how that lil incubater is I use a cup with moist substrate in it and put a small lid down and the egg sack on that and keep it close to a heat source and poke a few air holes in it that way if they want to get around on the substrate and possibly drink at some point they can
Those look so cute. I'd love to have a bunch of slings. I just have the 2 female Grammostola rosea Tarantulas. One I will have owned for 24 years as of March 12, 2022. A friend gave her to me on March 12, 1998. She was pretty big then.

interesting that the first sack was hard wonder what happened there. Dave, I’m curious to know what the small yellow pieces are among the slings?
Dave will probably answer but i believe those are early molts but not 100% sure.
I think the first sac was infertile and the little yellow bits are the first moults 👍
Yeah my favorite, SLINGS.
Yeah.!!👍👍❤️
