This video shows you how to install a new serpentine belt from TRQ on your 2014-2021 Mazda 6. The serpentine belt delivers engine power to a number of your vehicle's critical accessories, like the alternator and water pump. Over time, the rubber belt can harden or crack and begin to slip or break. It's best to replace your serpentine belt at regular intervals.
Estimated installation time for a professional technician is approximately: 30 minutes

Great video. Made it really easy to swap mine out. Thanks!
I had a really difficult time with this. Just couldn’t seem to get enough slack in the belt to put it on. Took all the strength I had and about a half an hour to finally get it on
Question in doing research on this, in reviewing the actual service manual, it stated that the tensioner has to be moved/pumped fully up/down 3x to purge any and all air within the tensioner?! Maybe do an edit showing this? Thank you for this visual learning session, y'all are really great at this!
what about the skinnier belt?
Was the vehicle on a lift? Did you take the wheel off? For beginners we couldn’t see it from a Birds Eye. We just saw it close.
Don't know about this particular instance. But, you can do this without being on a lift or taking the wheel off. Just turn the wheel to the right all the way. Will be harder and tighter, but still doable on the ground.
@ 0:51 you can see the tire is still on. As far as the lift goes I’d assume having it on a lift would just make things easier
