Clerk Russell joined Sheriff John Mina and Chief Judge Lisa Munyon to spread awareness about scams targeting Florida residents from individuals impersonating county employees on a wide range of topics, including jury duty and payment solicitation fraud.
Please know that we will never harass you or threaten you with arrest for payments related to jury duty.
Please also be assured that the Clerk's office will never contact you by phone or initiate an email to ask you to send money or provide your personal information. We never process payments over the phone.
If you get a scam email, do not open any attachments. If you receive a phone call, write down as much information as you can about the call and provide it to the Orange County Sheriff's Office at 407-836-HELP.
