You should salvage the ignitor and the coil from.the removed one if it is OEM Honda, aftermarket distributor coil and ignitor don't last long.

I bought a distributor and when I took it out of the box and checked, there isn't any marking or P/N on the distributor itself. Is this normal NOT to have marking or P/N on the item itself? How does the store know what it is if they ever misplace it? Thanks

My 2000 CRV will drive fine some days, other days it stalls half a dozen trimester before I can get it home. But it always seems to happen when I drive a distance and the outside temperature is hot, in the upper 90’s.
I know it’s about to stall because I lose feel in the gas pedal and the rpm’s start dropping to zero. However, the engine doesn’t die at that very moment, it still runs for about 5 seconds and the shuts down. If I let it sit for about 5 minutes, without trying to crank it, it will crank right up, but most of the time don’t wait and it just takes longer for it to crank. Does this sound like the camshaft sensor to you?
Btw, the only code my car has is po420, catalytic converter, but the previous owner “cleaned” it out, so that’s not the problem (hopefully).

You do need a new distributor I had the same code and changed everything else and it ended up being the distributor

@@user-mm7zz9hs2y mine ended up being a fuel relay. It’s behind the passenger side kick panel, to bottom right of the glove box.

How did you replace the Sensor or do you need to replace the whole distributor?

    Hi,
Is there a torque setting for the bolts? I've a nasty habit of stripping bolts by hand! 🤪

There is! If I was in front of my shop computer I could look em up for ya. It’d be hard to strip the 3 bigger bolts
