Your Magic Ability in Xanth would match that of Queen Irene.
With the Escape Proof trick, during the Peek: do they hold the cards or does the magician hold the cards?
It shows Sankey's watch during that part, which means it's the magician. Which means you can squeeze them or do another move to "vanish" the selected card. But if they do it, it's better trick; then again, how do instruct them to Peek rather than flip the card over?
Serious question. Who holds the packet at that moment?

I would litterally bend reality. You could do anything with that ability, even change how people percieve you.
Funny you should mention bending a spoon on a photograph. I recently found out how to make an out to lunch gimmick with a binder clip instead of a rubber band (no, really), and that's what I did with it, showing it to my wife.
I live near Washington D.C., so I would make the Washington monument bend if I could. I would do all my street magic on the National Mall if I could do that.
Out of this world car track
I would bend time. Literally impossible, but probably the MOST beneficial power to have. Even if it's only a short term, last 5 minutes thing, like, EVERYONE has times where we wished we had said or done something different.

When I think of bending something, it is difficult to not think of a physical item, so thinking outside the box, I would have to say that bending light would be a really cool change of pace, so many possibilities with that ability I think

I would bend a spectator's non-folding cell phone while it was laying in my hand by closing my hand until it was almost folded in half, and then restore it by opening my hand back up.

Jay, I've found the best way to learn the top-change is to practice it with your eyes closed. At first, it's a bit tough but it gets easier quickly.
Hot tip, and hey, that's what makes this an art and not (just) a science. We each find our own way through. Best to you and the family.

If I could bend anything I would bend my spectator's arm. I feel like bending body parts is very cool and freaky looking, and being able to do it on a spectator would take that to another level.

I live in St. Louis , MO and I would bend the Gateway Arch. It is an incredible monument and it gets so little national recognition. Then I would restore it so that people could still go up to the top of this 630 foot marvel.

You’ll need the power to not use unnecessarily make up words like ‘normalcy’ when ‘normality’ already exists and does a perfectly good job. I mention it because law relies heavily on a good grasp of the lingua-franca (sure, look it up) and precise use of same. Good luck!
