It just a backwards reason to not attend a Peggy show of all things, especially considering what Peggy stands for. I'm not blaming anyone for feeling uncomfortable, but the white people who go to Peggy shows are not the bad ones, if anything they're likely allies. These are people who are fans of his music and want to support him in concert, despite all the things Peggy says about white people that would make your average white guy throw a tantrum. These are people who have a lot more in common with you than you probably think, but we continue to let race get in the way of just enjoying some music together. Sad.
