letter of credit vs bank guarentee
letter of credit -non fund based facilities that involve buyers and seller .for certain trade the seeller insists to the buyer that he will only be selling goods if the buyer arrange the letter of credit from the bank .it is just a commitemnt on the part of bank to make payment to seller if seller is able to provide evidence of dispatch of goods. It bridges gap between seller and buyer .
simply bank gives the gurantee of its customer that if other party gives proper document then he will release the money .
bank guarantee -is required for performance of certain things .contractor -need this type of guarentee .bank will take collatoral .it is non fund facilities .
