At the end of the day, this is a good thing for NATO, it now has more countries on Russia's border and the West now realizes that oil is of strategic importance so the move to renewables is paramount. Which is great for the cutting of CO2 and bad for Russian coffers

I was one who witnessed year 2014 in Lugansk (its the Donbas area). Lived in basement with parents for almost 6 months , while our own army were shelling my city own citizens own land.
Before 2014 it was a normal county , but when the U.S. made revolution and installed their puppet government , things quickly went downhill . in spring 2014 , many regions of eastern ukr didn't accept the new government in Kiev.
Poroshenko new US approved ukr president said, that Donetsk , Lugansk , Kharkov are controlled by terrorists and declared anti terrorist military operation. Personally for me war started in 2 of June of 2014 , was a warm summer day , i was in park trying to skate with my friends. First time i heard echoes of explosions , Kiev send Jet airplane to bring down our Lugansk city administration .
I heard far explosions. People started talking military airplane bombed us! Had to describe , but will never forget this rush of adrenalin. My parents didn't want to go anywhere. I stayed with them.
6 month in basement with them and 12 other people from our apartment building , no water no electricity , food and water from humanitarian aid . every other day was coming truck with water and food. Ukr artillery were purposefully targeting this water trucks. Deamons! But the worst was not knowing what is going to happen. We hoped that Russia would come and put peace keeping forces. , but they didn't , many of us felt betrayed.
Russia negotiated Minsk peace treaty agreement.
Than came Zelenski he promised to implement Minsk agreement but in year 2022 said he said he is withdrawing from Minsk peace treaty .
Even i don't live in Lugansk , i left in 2016 started living in st Petersburg
. 10 years passed since summer 2014 , The bad memories are far now.
But i still wish for the U.S. to burn like they burned my country provoked civil war , made kamikaze of ukr. Im Cristian and i should not wish bad to other . but at same time I hope if God will bring retribution to the U.S. for everything they done to my land.
Im sorry , for wierd message i wrote. U don't have to agree or feel sorry. Its weird sometimes when i start writing memories it makes me feel better.
      Excuse me for weird message.

That is a *WWII* small unit infantry *guideline* for assaulting prepared positions, ie pillboxes and bunkers; and has more to do with angles and continuity of fire, than it does numbers or firepower. Thats it. Thats all there is to it. And its been proven irrelevant over and over and over and over again, with improved tactics and higher capacity individual weapons; for example a 30 rd magazine fed assault rifle fires 3x times longer and reloads 30% faster than a clip fed battle rifle, so you only need 1/3 of the numbers to maintain the same continuity of fire.
