All major companies try to do the same business practice of squeezing all the juice and energy out of their employees without paying attention to quality and safety. There is no way around it for Boeing or to any other company, you have to pay well to retain quality employees in order to have a good finished product. When it comes to airplane makers, safety is of the utmost concern and adequate supervision must always be present. Cutting corners to make huge profits does not cut it anymore if it means putting safety on the line.

    14?
I’m surprised they shipped that many! IF all goes well, they might get up to 33 units a month by mid 2025. I don’t expect an increase beyond that before mid 2026. That’s not being pessimistic. They really do need to spend effort on changing their culture.
The CEO needs to get management’s attention off of Wall Street and profits and back onto building planes.
If they can do that, then he could allow them to divert a little attention to profits. In 2027!
They must not forget their first priority is the product! Profits will come if you do that right. If you don’t make a good product, then you don’t need to be in business.

At 14 planes a month from Boeing, Airbus is delivering 4 times (and hoping to get to 5 times) the output from Boeing. Not sustainable for Boeing if it wants to remain in the commercial aircraft business. The danger here (and I say this as an Airbus fan) is that the company could be split into two - military and commercial. The commercial side is barely viable right now, and that would be bad for the whole industry - Airbus needs the competition.

I don't understand why this channel constantly blunts the facts.
In August of this year, Boeing delivered 38 commercial aircraft, over 30 being the Max. So, it can be said that, with a goal of 38 Max a month in 2024, the federal oversight had become a non factor.
Then, why is it that this channel constantly points to government oversight as the issue? Clearly they delivered 14 aircraft because of, and ONLY because of the strike. All the other digs were unnecessary.
I predicted that Boeing was going to pay more money and cut staff, including union staff, and that's exactly what they're doing. All of this is to be expected and it's going to strengthen the company going forward.
The worst of their setbacks is hopefully behind them so this whole door blowout and Max crap can be paid to rest. People are tired of hearing the same crap over and over while other aviation news are being ignored.

Put it this way, those workers passed a really good deal, or so they thought becuz some are getting the pink slip for being the surplus of the company. There is a high chance that robots will be utilized in the future on some of the manufacturing processes. If they agreed with the 25 percent, and the 40 percent they pay more than airbus, they job should be safe for 5 to 7 years to come, but they agreed with a 38 percent, around 50 percent more than airbus, and caused such losses to the company. So they got what they wanted and the company starts cutting surplus staff. 14 jets from boeing in a strike is actually a lot, consideringan entire shutdown of production during that period. The departments the took out are a certain DEI department, some HR staff and a small number of everything else. Its mainly those administrative staff who would be leaving. So no it aint quality related. But its gonna have an impact towards the Seattle economy
