This is exactly why I don't use instagram anymore: people creating meaningless content for the sake of creating, only to follow a certain pattern to please an algorithm. There's nothing interesting on this platform anymore, moving on and I think everybody should to!
Until there’s an other similar platform, people won’t leave.. (at least not many). I’m personally dreaming of the day this will happen: a new platform with no shitty algorithm and less people so it’s not just about « competition »

I had to come back to this video just to tell you how much this worked. The one thing I was missing was commenting on hashtags & successful people in my niche. I started doing it the last three days and have gained about 40 new subs.

I imagine you would get shadow-banned for a few hours or days. That basically means you won't be able to post, like or comment on anything until the ban time is over.

Hi, I wouldn't say you have to follow, but you have to comment (write something) on the posts instead of just putting a like. To me, when people "Like" me I often ignore it (because there are too many likes). But I always respond to the people who comment. It is more effective. Just my take.
I believe a lot of people will give up. It takes time you won't see results you anticipate and will get discouraged by seeing how many creators do this.
