Nice detail video. We went this month. Your video was useful. I thought the trip would be challenging after looking few such videos but it was a decent experience. I will just put my points.
1) Travel agency was nice
2) Accomodation was average - no major issues
3) Places and points are obviously very scenic and absolutely worth going.
4) People at tourist places did want to sell their services but not too much bothersome and would leave if politely refused.
5) We had two Cab drivers and one in Pahalgam from their taxi union - all were genuine and nice. No problem.
6) Overcharging - Depends on negotiation but I felt it was okayish not too bad.
If someone is wanting to visit, go with positive mindset and enjoy the nature and the people. Hope you will have a nice experience
It means they're improving. When we went the guides and cab drivers were very rude and keep following you which was irritating

Thanks for the info. There is overcharging everywhere agreed. But there is a limit Kashmir is way too high. No place in the world force the tourist for tips. We give tips as per our wish. U should not force anyone for higher tips.
Yes that's what i m telling and overcharging price + not showing the proper destination for what we paid for.

Is there snow on 1st phase of Gondola ride in April 1st week or 2nd phase is must?
this time we cant tell anything bcoz this time there was no snow until 20 jan. 1st time in the history this has happened. But generally you have to go to phase 2 for much snow. Snow is very less in phase 1.

Noor Mohammad.. you will authentic kesar only in pampore state (lethipura highway) .. you have ample of shop on that way .. when you go from srinagar to pahalgham that time you will find that shop.. just search " Noor Mohd bhat - dryfruits " on google you will find it.

Fixed rate hai waha pe taxi ka kuch 1750 4 points. Baisaran valley ke liye horse karna padta hai which will cost 800 to 1000 pp

Bro snow rahega tab change karna padta hai varna nai karna padta. Phir direct apko sonmarg pochneke baad baltal ya zero point jana ho toh taxi lagta hai which will cost you around Rs. 2000 approx. for family.
Gulmarg wale video dekh chuke hai, ab aaj kal local taxi se tie up kar k union taxi hi aage jaegi aise bolte h aur sightseeing complimentary bol k 4500 bolege phr 4000 m 6 sade hue betuke points dikha denge 😂😂

Brother Kashmir have only 6 months business nowadays there is very expensive everything so how could these people survive from that little tourism scammers I have seen in Delhi what these rickshaw guys taxi drivers travel agents are doing scam since 50 years in Delhi and other places of India like Himachal etc..
I didn't tell anywhere in the video that only kashmir people scams. Everyone scams but there should be a limit for scamming. If people are making video on kashmir that means there is some issue. If the actual price is 100 then you can charge 150 but not 1500.
@Kashmirguideline294 bhai kuch bhi ho itna zyada increase karke sab prices quote nehi karna chahie unlogo ko...isko cheating karna kehte hain..200-300 increase karte hain woh bhi thik hain lekin woh log 1000 ko 7000 batatein hain. This is too much. Bargain bhi karenge to kitna karenge...so this is not at all acceptable.

2horse k sat 1banda hota hai baki jo ap nay dusra admi bola wo apka helper rehte hai koie bag ya kuch aur carry krnay k leya wo apne choice hote hai apko lena hai ke nhi uss k leya apko koie force nhi krta hai,
Brother don't use the word scam,Im a photographer there i show my work to my costumer if they like that they hire me or someone else for a day for 1-2k and they only pay that amount after they see the result..
I don't see a scam there until and unless ur a fool to be fooled...
And most important thing u will see kashmir tourism police at every tourist spot so u can ask them for price and the government rate for horse is around 1700-2.5k per horse but we charge 1.6k -2k..
And In winter u can't go to thajwas Glacier cause there are risks of Avalanche..
If you can't go to thajiwas glacier then why they tell you and charge you for thajiwas glacier? You are local over there you know everything how much time is required to reach how much Km it is we tourist don't know. Misguiding tourist is also a scam. We tourist dont know the kms how we can judge the price? You should not tell any price it should be bit reasonable too. I have experienced that all things so i mentioned in the video. You can check 1000s of video are there on yt about scams in kashmir. They won't scam you they scam us. Watch other videos and get back to me.

Apko srinagar se tangmarg apka local taxi jo apne already book kiya hai wo phir tangmarg se gulmarg rs.2000/- and then gulmarg gandola ticket phase 1 ka Rs.740/- per person ka toh total apka 2 log ka around 4000 ka kharcha hai and hotel and food pakad ke 5000/- so approx. Rs.10000/- lagega 1 night ke liye. Par mein apko suggest karuga apka waha pe sab kijiye kafi enjoy karoge aap .. kashmir ka main attraction he gulmarg he. Snowmobile, sledging, gandola ye sab kijiye and waha ka local tour bhi.
Bhai 5 din ka total cost including everything 15-17k tk gyega

kya bakwas giri hai har tourist place pe yahe hota hai. tourist ko bargaining nahi karni ati. tourist ne place ki proper information leke he jana chhiye.

I am not from kashmir but when I visited kashmir I felt life uder 24/7 threat. If you dont want to buy dont buy but video pe defame karne ka kya matlab hai. apne indian apne he state ko defame karnege to international tourist kaha se ayenge. Video scams ke upar hai mehangai ke upar nai. Pura video dekho phir comment karo. kuch threat nai hai udar abhi ka situation kafi alag hai. Defame karna alag hai and sachai batana alag. Mostly scams video kashmir pe kyu ha phir? Baki youtuber pagal hai kya video banane ke liye? Abhi toh kafi acha footfall hai kashmir mein agar aisa he scams chalta raha toh tourist visit he nai karege. Har point pe scam hai. Visit pahalgham how sorted it is check that. Video mein bhi bola hai ke pahalgham ki taxi service is the best.
sab thik hai bhai, lekin aap apne video ka title dekhiye aur video ka cover picture kisiko lagega kaunsa bada ghotala chal raha hai. aur off season me jayenge to inhe logo ke pass kuch b kam nahi hota hai. sare hotels khali hote hai, jaha 0 degree temperature aur hotel me heaters bhi nahi sirf heating blanket.
Pheli baat kashmir ye year round destination hai. Inka off season matlab sirf 2 month rainy season ke. Charge karna chahiye par aisa nai upar se misguide karte hai ye nai milega wo nai milega n all or paisa lete hai.

I had some personal experiences too that i shared and only overcharging is not the issue misguiding the customer is much more than that. I know its a tourist destination so you can charge a bit high even i have said that price scam is common everywhere in the world watch the full video properly and then comment. I m guiding the people to stay away from some people not from all even this i have said in the video .. watch full video and comment 👍 ..
