    This is probably the best explanation of how to get the old world effect! Many don't know much of Mucha's work until the later part of his career he used watercolor, pens, coloring crayons..yes I said crayons (some of the muted linework was at times done this way 😉😉 .

    Excellent work. And just as a helpful hint I like to cover my finger with plastic wrap or a sandwich bag. When removing the latex masking because the plastic really grips it and I don't get oils from my finger all over my work.

      @@michaellyons5208 not a bad idea! I never found it difficult to remove the masking fluid but I know other people often do, so I'll pass that advice along. I think my skin is too dry to worry about oils and if there is oil it's definitely all over the drawing during the drawing process already 😆

    It’s not pronounced mucha, it’s pronounced muka.
