Thanks to all the teams who sent me stuff!!
@MLB @Pirates @nationals @SFGiants @yankees @redsox @brewers @whitesox @Rays@Dodgers Спорт
This video turned out great. Just sent you an email! We wanna add on with some more goodies.
THANKS!!
san francisco giants
not a giants fan but i am now. goated social media team .
Send him the high times magazine with lincecum on the cover….no wait send me that one!
Shoot I’d love a Pablo Sandoval jersey 😅
I’m not a RedSox fan, but a bag of dirt is awesome.
That is one of the coolest things they could have sent
@@zachd00d757the dirt is rare in forget the ship it in from Pennsylvania n ohio or something random lol its a special clay/mud they dry out i think

💯
That dirt is the most valuable thing in the Red Sux, oops, Sox organization.
I wrote a letter to the Dallas Cowboys when I was a little kid asking for autographs from Randy White and Tony Dorsett. They sent hand signed pictures of both. I still have them to this day.
My father visited the stadium traveling with work and asked for a Roger Staubach autograph for me as a kid. A week later mailed to me was an original signed photograph from him! It also included a full team poster!
I am 47, I did the exact same thing to Danny White and I still have it! He signed a photo, its a black and white photo. Been a Cowboys fan 40 years!
In computer class in middle school we did this and got to send letters to any 3 people we wanted and I got Josh Hamilton of the Rangers and my brother got Ichiro Suzuki a few years later when he did it. Was super cool, the autographs weren’t real and I know that now but as a 12 year old I was stoked 😂
I've been following football for a least fifty years, I couldn't speak for the Cowboys organization, though what I can tell you is that though there were NFL teams that had their own fan ticket holder newsletters during the 1960s and 1970s, it was the Cowboys in 1976 that are credited with starting the first official team fan newspaper in the NFL among their several innovations of the 1960s and 1970s.
That makes my heart smile and my soul warm.
I have to admit that, when I was teenager, I did the same request (by air-mail letters & post stamps) 45 years ago from Italy. Some teams answered me sending adesives, photos, magazines and hats, but the first team to answer was Boston Red Sox and since then I am a Red Sox fan. Go Sox.
If i were a kid, the Yankees with the Holo cards and Red sox with the Fenway dirt would have been sick; however, the Autograph from the Nats takes the cake. Cool video idea.
Same. I figured the Red Sox, a team I was born to hate as a person who grew up in a Yankee household, were the easy winner with the Fenway dirt (might have to write them myself in the hopes of getting some). Then the Yankees were in second, simply for sending cards of their own players. But the auto was really nice, so the Nationals take the W.
I didn't know MLB had holo cards? I thought the term holo cards were for Pokemon!
@@timothychow177Wow…🤦🏻♂️
yessir go nats
“We got the white Will Smith!” 😂 😂
Fun fact: There is actually a meteorologist in Florida named Mike Lowry, he works for WPLJ local 10 news in Miami
The Fenway dirt is sweet. Definitely the best out of all of them.
Unless the luis robert autograph is real?!
Dude..... you set the pirates back another 4-6 seasons
Hahaha as a Pirates fan you are 1000% correct.
As a guardians fan our owner couldn't even afford the stamp😂😂
@@SeanHts15I’m a braves fan that can’t catch up
As a 10 year old in 1970 I wrote a letter to every MLB, NHL, and NFL team asking for stickers.....The collection from all of them I still have today is priceless.
Do the nba
I'm very close in age to you, yet at that time I likely wouldn't have even been able to know just what the addresses of teams outside my own local area were and they only began listing all of them in the World Almanac and Book of Facts in the middle 1970s, at least a few years after you wrote to those teams.
I don't know where I got the addresses My guess is my father who had good friends at the Local newspaper ? @@gregpaspatis9425
Good on these front office’s customer service teams. That’s the true spirit of the game and awareness that a small gesture like this can go a long way!
I would have been a fan for life if I got something back as a kid.
The president baseball cards from the Nationals is awesome 😂
It can be said, thankfully, that most of those born after 1993 or 1994 probably have very little memory at all when there wasn't any big league (baseball) team in the nation's capital.
The Nats hold the Geico Presidents Race in the middle of the fourth inning of home games. The current lineup is Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt
yup , it’s cool they sent cards of them 🤣😎
I’m 63 and did this but wrote a letter and mailed to quite a few teams. I always got something back like stickers and schedules and printed off autographs. It was fun collecting them. I still have all that and that was back in the early 70s.
Did the same thing it was fun to do back then n I also have most of it all from when I did it it was baseball football basketball. N I wrote the letters by hand back then so I may do it agin for fun
So THAT'S where the RedSox are spending their money!!!!
Don't act like that was a lot of money they spent on stuff they sent him
Great to see a young person so interested in baseball. As I expected, nothing from my NY Mets - they never cease to disappoint me.
I wouldn’t count the Mets out! I actually got a cool long sleeve shirt from them and a couple cards! And some stickers.
Thanks for making me feel better. Maybe I should save my disappointment for the season.@@DylanO-em7bc
I guess I should keep my mouth shut and wait for the season for them to disappoint me!@@DylanO-em7bc
hard to be disappointed when they set the bar so low
😂😂😂😂
The most impressive thing about your video is, you taking the time to thank each and every team.., enjoy the fan pack items.. Sweet! Lastly, Go Giants!
Go giants!
The Rays shoulda sent you season tickets! 😂
I would send them back and ask for a apology
😅😂🤣😭
There was a contest in the Tampa Bay Area. First prize was season tickets to the Rays. Second place was two!
@@jaybruno3571you see the Rays in the playoffs as usual next year.
@@corysmith4516 😴 🥱 💤
I was gonna say the Pirates are so cheap that there’s no way they would send anything and then boom they’re the first ones 😂
Very cool for the teams to do that. Growing up I wrote the NASA program and they sent some really cool pics and stuff. This was in the 60s
Anymore teams send anything since you recorded this? Do NHL next.
This! I love my Yankees, but I am a diehard hockey fan. Would love to see what they would send!
probably have to wait till next season for hockey, its getting close to playoffs and they don't tend to respond or have time at that point. Goes the same for MLB and any other sport. Best to do It around now when season is starting and stock is up.
This so reminds me of looking up the addresses of all my favorite players at the local library when I was a kid. Mom would just drop me off and do all her shopping and I'd be entertained for hours. Thanks for unlocking that memory! Seeing your haul almost makes me want to dust off my markers, grab some paper, and craft a fan letter.
The way he thanks the team after each gift makes me feel like I’m at his birthday party and he invited all the mlb teams. I sincerely love it
What a creative idea for a video!
what a fun idea! And so glad my team the Brewers were one of the teams who responded to you. :)
What a cool video and good on these organizations for responding!
Just goes to show you never know what can happen unless you ask the question. I love this!
You are really friendly and polite, keep it going Bro!
I'm very interested in how you went about writing to the teams. Pretty neat idea. Years ago I would write for autographs, mainly just to get mail. I need that feeling/pursuit again now as I get older and mail is sparse. Love getting free stuff too lol. Surprised you got baseball cards, too cool.
Great video bro! I’m a Red Sox fan myself. Maybe do NBA teams next?
Try sending stuff to MLS clubs asking for free stuff. That would be fun! Maybe you get a free Messi autograph haha. Great video man!
You videos are short and to the point without adding anymore than what is necessary and I really enjoy that. I will definitely sub and I look forward to see how much your channel will grow in the future from 3k subs. With such content, it will definitely become big and I look forward to this. :)
Very cool! It's interesting how they all sent similar but different items
I wonder if your responses would have been greater had you mailed the teams a letter instead of emailing them? Your video reminds me of when I was younger and writing to race tracks asking for posters and got quite a few responses, mostly posters, but also a race program or two and some assorted things like stickers or schedule brochures. Fun stuff!
That was really cool. All of the teams that responded deserve congratulations but some really were surprisingly good. The signed CJ Abrams card is sweet, as is a lot of other things from the other teams. The "flag" that the Rays sent is what was referred to as a "Pennant" in the past. It's a smaller version but it is a "pennant". We used to have larger versions and we would hang them all over our rooms as kids. Sometimes we got players to autograph them. When a team wins a pennant in baseball, it refers back to when there used to be a physical pennant that was raised on a flagpole at the team's home when a team won their division. Congratulations, well done.
um they still raise them tho now they are more like “flags”
brewers win because of the personalized letter
I remember having a address book to every player back in 1995 from becket
I’m glad some of these MLB teams answered your requests! Says a lot about the other reams that didn’t. They don’t mind taking your money though.
can you tell me how you structured the email for the sample did you put your address key their and how did you ask them
That Nats pack is sweet. In 7th grade one of my assignments for my English class was to send a letter to a famous person/group and chose the Miami Dolphins. I was the only person to receive a response back and the vice president of operations sent me a personal letter back and they put a mini flag/pennant in there along with a schedule and some other goodies. That was really cool.
I was hoping for more on the response, but what great responses!! Gotta go with the Red Sox bag of Fenway Dirt for the win. Got my own bag of Fenway Dirt here at my desk.
No idea what they charge for that....mine was also a gift.
This is very cool. I wanna do it now! That team that sent player cards for other teams was just hilarious!
Cool idea, glad some teams came to the party. Red Sox dirt was a nice touch.
Nice video, randomly came on my feed. But great idea!!
That was cool of the Red Sox to send some Fenway dirt.
I find it hilarious that the Red Sox sent a random box of baseball cards 😂😂
I picture an intern shuffling through some old desk drawers and throwing it in the envelope 😂
i was thinking cool they sent you some red sox cards but lol
I used to mail cards to players when I was 12. Shoutout to Dan Wilson Mariners catcher in the 90s thanks for the autographs!
I did that too as a Reds fan . I still have all of the cards they signed in 1986-1990’s . I put a card in an envelope with a sase in Dave Parker’s mailbox and got it back signed . biggest snub was Rob Dibble lol
You should do this with Billionaires
I wrote to Mets but no answer 😂 Good to see some team will really give stuff to fans
Really cool video buddy, lets see what the NHL or NFL will send you next.
Last year I sent a letter to the Yankees and they sent me a sick bobble head
I did the exact same thing about a year ago! I got almost the exact same things as you did, except I didn't get responses from the Nationals or Pirates like you did. Got a BUNCH of cool stuff from the A's though, surprisingly enough. The Yankees sent a water bottle and a hat too which was probably the most high value stuff I got.
Did you use the general address or address to a specific department?
They used to sell an address book for every baseball player from the past and the current mlb players back in the late 80's. I had gotten quite a few cards back that were autographed including a Harmon Kilebrew.
thats way cool , harmon was a power house. i did the same thing with the jays in the early 90s 5th grade and got a joe carter autograph.
I got Warren Spahn’s autograph cause he made a request for anyone to mail him a card with a sase and he’d autograph the card . he was a nice man that sent a kid his card back with an autograph .
This is really wholesome!
I'm surprised you got response. During the "covid" the Reds wouldn't even process my letter. (Go Yanks - nice package.)
The Nationals and the president cards! So cool.
As a Pirates fan I’m shocked they sent you anything. I didn’t think Bob Nutting would spend money on a postal stamp.
We did this over 30 years ago after having read an article in Beckett about getting free stuff. Some teams were better in this conversation than others. Also, we had to hop on the phone to make phone calls instead of emailing.
Brew Crew coming in strong with the personalized letter. A nice touch.
I used to send SASE letters to sports players when I was a kid and included a card to sign and envelope + postage back. Got some really good ones like Troy Aikman, Yogi Berra, Wade Boggs, etc. Plus some players would send free swag or personalize the auto. I probably have well over 100 autos like this. Ahh the good ol' days
That’s awesome! What does “SASE” mean?
@@TeamPaidToDriveSelf-Addressed Stamped Envolope
@@nutritionperfection gotcha thank you
@TeamPaidToDrive yea, there used to be (still is?) an online list of all their addresses. I even have weird autos from people like Angelina Jolie, Al Roker, and other lesser known celebs/musicians. The Yogi Berra one I sent him a reprint card of himself and he signed it. I need to get some certified though.
My son did that in the early 90s to a bunch of players and got a few back but his favorite is Nolan Ryan who even included a hand written personalized note.
Yooo the signed CJ Abrams card is awesome. I used to do this when I was 14 and even have my Fenway dirt still! I used to collect pocket schedules from minor league teams and they would always throw some cool stuff in there. Shoutout the pro sports teams that go the extra mile and do this for the fans
I did this as a kid. I got the idea from a book I got at the school book fair. It was about free stuff and it had the addresses to all NFL teams and a template of a letter to send. Half the teams responded with stickers, holograms and little helmets. I was disappointed that my favorite team was one of the teams that didn't send anything.
Did the same things a few weeks ago only got 4 teams sent back but I did get the Fenway dirt which was cool
When I was a kid 60 years ago I used to write a letter to every MLB, NFL, NHL team at the beginning of each season. Most teams sent some pretty cool stuff. I got game programs, and signed pictures. I still have a plastic storage container full of stuff.
That signed abhrams pic is fire
Cool video. I did almost the same thing to the new hockey franchises around 1967. St.Louis, Minneapolis ,California Golden Seals, Los Angeles, Philadelphia,Pittsburgh. Every one of them sent me a sticker and a schedule. I still have 3 stickers.
bangers every VID
Cool video. Love the Knafs shirt!
Of course the Brew Crew sent a personalized letter ❤
I wrote a letter to every team back when I was in 7th grade (2001ish). I got a response from every single team. I have all the collectibles etc. stored away in a binder with plastic sheeting. The Red Sox marketing woman actually wrote a handwritten letter back to me, was pretty sweet! It was just before they went on their World Series run too...
Just a thought, would you be interested in a detailed feature about the more famous stadium and arena food and beer or soft beverage vendors around the pro leagues, there've been a few like the legendary Roger "peanut man" Owens at Dodger Stadium and other Southern California sporting events for decades, though he must be very close to retiring if not already so?
I suggest hitting up MLS teams. I sent the NYCFC a letter after winning the 2021 MLS cup and they sent me a box full of swag, which included a team scarf. They also sent me swag from some of their sponsors.
Back when the MLS started its first season in 1996, my younger brother, who was then in his early thirties requested season schedules and season ticket plan info from as many of the teams as he could and they sent him back the info, a few also sent along a team sticker decal as well.
Great content! Try MLS and NWSL next ⚽️
This is a great idea for some holiday/birthday gifts.
I did this as a kid but I also wrote to random companies asking for stickers. Most of them usually sent back some cool stuff. Fast forward 20 yrs and I was doing PR for some NASCAR teams and kids would write asking for stuff and I got to pay it back by sending them all kinds of stuff. Mostly driver's postcards and decals. It was cool going thru a full circle. I knew that the kid on the other end was going to be happy getting free stuff!
My company used to sponsor a racing team out in Colorado and as our company picnic every year we would have two race cars set up in our factory for all the customers to see and we'd get two random Denver Broncos.cheerleaders to sign posters for people...I got ten posters and gave them all away when I moved.
That's great I love doing this kind of stuff too. When did you write to them and how long did it takes before you started to get stuff?
Probably about a month ago and the first letters came in like a week
I'm surprised those teams didn't blow you off. And that was very polite to thank each individual team I must add. Shows some teams still care, and not just the ones with the biggest budgets. Like you've got the Pirates, Brewers, and Nationals in there. But the Dodgers blew you off cuz they're already paying hundreds of millions for that roster.
the dodgers probably get 10k letters a day
Hold on to that CJ Abrams bro, that's a dope free giveaway card.
this is a great video, and it shows the class by the 8 teams to actually respond and send out swag. The other 22 teams? meh...
some of them might have run out of stuff , maybe they will mail
some out later , maybe not
Very cool these franchises responded to you. Just so everyone knows, practically every company will send you stuff if you write them a letter.
lol every year i’d sent a letter to Ford for all the stuff about their new model cars , sadly they all sucked , you ever see a ford tempo on the road today ?
I just imagine the mailman thinking "who the hell is this guy getting contract offers from 8 different mlb teams...
I used to write letters to MLB players and they would send player pictures & many with autographs. I remember getting lots of Red Sox players (my favorite team) I also got a personally signed to me 8x10 photo of Jim Rice, 8x11 paper photo signed by Gordie Howe (Whalers) & a signed Mark Fidrych black & white photo cuz i liked them when I was a kid in the 70's & 80's
glad my nationals sent you some cool stuff
Did Gerrit Cole from yankees cards was on there?
This is a super fun video.
I think it's interesting that both sox teams gave you baseball cards of other teams
most likely just left over Topps card giveaways. All the teams give them out during the season at select games.
Red Sox suck but they hooked you up the most. That dirt is actually really cool. Good job on the content young man #NYY
Mascot hall of fame is in my home town. So silly they put that in there! But it’s pretty cool.
I want that Nationals keychain
Great video! I was expecting it to be mainly small/bad teams that want to draw fans but was surprised to see the Yankees and Red Sox in there
Cool fan packs! Red Sox one is the best! Yanks used to give bobbles. I got one from the reds
Reminds me of when I would cut a player's picture from Sports Illustrated and mail them at the team address. I would ask for an autograph and would include a return envelop.
These videos are just gonna make way more people do this now lol
AL East well represented. The dirt from Fenway is awesome. I hope it finds a special place on a shelf.
MCCUTCHEN!! if only with the pirates 😭😭😂😂
McCutchen hasn’t been with the Giants since 2018! 😂😂😂 Go Giants!!!!
No i mean the card
Being from milwaukee i know brewers, packers and admirals are awesome about sending free merch
I used to do this as a kid with random sports teams. The Sonics sent me a talking Gary Payton bobble head, i thought it was the coolest thing ever. 😎
Sure it was a bag of dirt , it was was probably David Ortiz's left over HGH he left behind 😂😂😂
i swear they just grabbed random stuff off of their desk and mailed it lol.. j/k nice vid!
YOOOO THAT DARICK HALL CARD!?!?! I got a pic with him when I was at a LHV IronPigs game! I gotta keep an eye out for his card so I can get it!
We did this in sixth grade with NFL teams. I got a whole bunch of stuff from the Vikings. This was in like 1985 way before anyone had the internet. I actually wrote them a letter.
I got stuff like the yearbook from the team and a bunch of stickers.
One kid in our class got a small 1/4 sized helmet from his team.
A few years later the Vikings traded for Herschel Walker and the cowgirls got better.
that dirt from Fenway was a win, I want to write a letter for that myself. Actually have been to Fenway, it is a awesome park!
