ALLPOWERS sent us a 400 watt portable solar panel and their S-1500 portable power station for Tom and Lori to check out and see just how much it might improve their boondocking and it appears to be a big hit.

We are super excited to put this to use every day! Our 2 week test really showed us what we were missing with only 350 watts of solar on the rv the past 6 years. And special thanks to Bob and Pearl for this opportunity ❤️!

What fun it was working with you two on this project and so glad you're going to now be able to have home made waffles every Saturday morning now that you have the extra power.

Very interesting review with guest hosts TOM & LORI!!! Glad they were able to get some much needed increase in power; I'm surprized they do so well with so little (and lead acid batteries to boot...) Nothing like having too much lithium and too much solar. Sure makes living simpler and my composting toilet (litter box Gary...) greatly reduces both my fresh and waste water requirements. Thanks for doing this and sharing!

Bob,.........you always do the best power station reviews I see on RUclips. It will be great to see how it works out for Tom & Laurie down the road in 6 months in real life use. It was awesome for you to pass the unit on to them to continue the saga,....."Waffle heaven off-grid" with T&L!

Mark, thanks for watching and we appreciate your thoughts. I agree with ya on “Waffle Haven” off grid update on Tom & Lori RV Life channel. I know lots of boondocks watch their channel and would enjoy seeing how it works for them. Tell Sue Hi 👋 👋

I doubt there are too many folks that could put it to as good of use as Tom and Lori, they love their boondocking and Tom loves them waffles...

Hey Bob. Because our internet in Yuma was kind of iffy I am now catching up on some you tube now that we are home. We boondocked for some time in April. We have solar suitcases, and a 1000 watt inverter linked to two 100 ah lithium batteries. Worked real good. Our new Brinkley will come with a 370 watt panel on the roof and we want to put a second one up there. We are also looking at solar generators also. Should get our new camper in late may. Hope you and Pearl are doing well. See you next season maybe! Keep up the good work.

Hi Bob, a good review. If the solar panel cable is long enough to run through a window from outside and the power station will allow it to charge and use at the same time that would be great. It would be the only way to make a difference for some. Some will be using it during the sunlight hours at the same time they need to be charging it.

Apparently Tom and Lori agree with you, he ordered an extension a couple of days ago and it is supposed to arrive here Thursday when they pick up the solar panel and power station to head back out to Lovers Wash!

Hi Bob & Pearl - good to see you busy with a new video. What a great deal for Tom & Laurie! I’m amazed they could get by with 350 solar boondocking and working. Hope you’re doing well, between e-bikes and solar power looks like you keep busy. Take care! 😊❤️
