The last video I watched with a similar concept (garage elevator into attic) received lots of comments regarding safety, so be prepared for that kind of feedback.
Probably. There's a lot of "experts" out there. To be honest, the elevator will probably be primarily used to send boxes up,,,and,,, down. No people. Though I've ridden it a few times and feel perfectly safe
@@Rosskenpo1 - some of the safety, besides humans riding it, stemmed from the possibility of a pet or child being beneath the unit when it comes down. Probably not something you’re worried about, but other people will bug you about that.

@@stevebabiak6997 well climbing a ladder 11 ft up carrying a box on my shoulder is more of a safety issue than my lift for me! Thanks..
