This JigSaw was not Damaged it was fully Destroyed. I am extremely sorry for a long delay in uploading this video This restoration was really hard so i hope you guys will enjoy the video. See you in the next video.
Congratulations on another restoration, man! Never give up on these projects. Thanks to you (and other RUclips channels) I started to restore all of my father's old tools (some of them older than me), cleaning up and making them useful again. Not only that: I started helping friends, from electric components to electrolysis. I even restored my keyboard (instead of buying a new one) and now it looks better than before! Better than providing a way to restore tools that actually works (and just need some care), this is actually a perfect hobby to clean up your mind. Keep on going!
I watch your videos every day with my 4 year old son. We've seen other channels that does similar things, but none of them even come close to you. Your videos are a perfect combination of show of craftmanship and asmr. And it's kind of poetic to bring back all the old junk to life. We are big fans, wish you all the best!
I can imagine how hard it was to restore and looking at the effects of misuse, I'm surprised you got anywhere with it.. I have one just the same but a high wattage which is why I have a heavy power capsule for mine but apart from a slightly bent sled which I'll straighten out, it works great for a second hand jig saw.. thank you for a fabulous video.... oh and mine still has the blade release on the top lol
I use my jig saw everyday and never realized the engineering that goes into the design of these “simple tools” until now. Thanks for the video...great work.
IMO any blue Bosch is worth the time to restore. Also there are spares available as well as exploded parts images that help with the process. Great work!
What an amazing restoration you did. That was really destroyed for sure and the more you took it apart I was thinking it was just a pile of junk. But you restored it to a good working condition. You have some great skills.
excellent video! whenever I see someone do a restoration of any electronic device I never see them show any love to the technical components with all their attention on the mechanic parts. The gesture of removing the rust was small, but a detail that was definitely appreciated. Excellent video overall! I'm not quite experienced enough to disassemble something like this for repairs but have a lot of admiration for the folks that do. ONE DAY *shakes fists*
After all the things that went wrong, you did extremely well to persevere. Most would have given up... An excellent repair and restoration... WELL DONE!!! 10/10
love watching restoration videos, a man after my own heart, the jig saw you restored was a gst 2000, a very fine german made bosch, when they made quality stuff, I have a spare one of these in full working order if you need it for parts, I noticed yours was missing the sds tensioner to remove and change blades, if you aqre uk based I would gladly ship it to you for free, great video. tristan
I love your channel. In an age of consumerism, unboxing videos, endless reviews of new products, egging ppl on to buy the latest and greatest, I find that your channel is a breath of fresh air, something else & something different. I can just relax and watch your videos.
Dude, I have no idea how you can remember where things go after you take it all apart...I lost track after the 4th screw......Awesome work....Keep the videos flowin'.......
You sir are a genius very skilled at what you do. Buying new is not the point enjoying restoring projects like this is a great achievement I wish I had half the talent. Love watching your videos many thanks.
How do you even design a jigsaw ? I swear the sheer complexity of both creating it or restoring it is so amazing I can't even imagine the amount of work that has been put behind it
I am fascinated by these restoration videos - sure things are hard - full credit for fixing this machine - it would have taken me days more than you, as I would have mapped out what bits are what - too long under all this fixing and cleaning and putting back together. much more harder than fixing a damn loo I had to do a while back = without the video from You tube, I would have to employ a plumber - even though I am smart enough to work it out - I just needed to be 100% sure - well done for you fixing this complex machine :-)
My heart bleeds when I saw how this legendary jigsaw was tortured. You are a real Wizard! I got a great pleasure from the restoration! You gave him a second life!
Sometimes more too, But there are cheaper ones like, Black and decker that have almost nothing, no speed control, No blade guide, bushing instead of bearing for blade tension, no angle cuts, and very light, like mines. I really like this restore.
Your skills and dedication to your projects, especially as a teenager, are impressive to say the least! I guess I never realized that Pakistan was so wet; the red rust problem there is pretty prevalent. Thank you for your videos, please keep up the good work.

You inspired me to buy Bosch angle grinding and make restoration. I found one in machinery store and it seems to be working for me not a one year.
You are very talented, Wow. Great video keep up the good work.
It looked like it was literally driven over by a large truck. Good job bringing it back to life.

A GOOD restoration.......but no where near PERFECT !!!!
I find it amazing how the manufacturer can design and assemble the parts and make it work in the first place. True genius.
With all the broken parts I didn’t think you would get it together again. Very nice restoration. Well done!
Perfect! Thanks for sticking with that one. We had one that was all magnesium and you could get blades for it to cut steel and stuff!
You my friend are a genius! - Scotland salutes you.
There are too many karigars aur mistaris available commonly to performance these tasks!!!!
I’m impressed you can rebuild these tools and this one is especially incredible. Thank you for sharing!

I've got the same Bosch jigsaw. Had it for about 15 years now and still works, besides replacing the brushes. Best jigsaw I've ever used.
Wow! See what happens when you don't give up?? Wonderful!!!
Bravo!!! We need more people like this. Patient and Hardworking. Love the channel and the movement it represents.
Most people today would just throw this away without a second thought. Awesome work.
Excellent! Nothing polished within an inch of its life, just a good honest restoration. Well done.

Magnificent restoration! I am very impressed. Looks to be a very good saw as well. Worth the effort to restore.
I was so into this that I wanted to skip ads; however I feel this is one of the few channels that deserve for me to wait. Anyone else feel similar?
I would love to use these videos to sleep but the ads are so loud and distracting. I'd rather watch and help them get paid though

Wow i never knew that a jigsaw looks so beautiful on the inside!
I would classify this more as a rebuild over a restoration. There was a lot of work that went into this, and I think it turned out fantastic.
You did awesome. After seeing everything that went wrong with that saw, most guys would have tossed it! Great job!
Very difficult project, kudos..
