Congratulations on another restoration, man! Never give up on these projects. Thanks to you (and other RUclips channels) I started to restore all of my father's old tools (some of them older than me), cleaning up and making them useful again. Not only that: I started helping friends, from electric components to electrolysis. I even restored my keyboard (instead of buying a new one) and now it looks better than before! Better than providing a way to restore tools that actually works (and just need some care), this is actually a perfect hobby to clean up your mind. Keep on going!

I watch your videos every day with my 4 year old son. We've seen other channels that does similar things, but none of them even come close to you. Your videos are a perfect combination of show of craftmanship and asmr. And it's kind of poetic to bring back all the old junk to life. We are big fans, wish you all the best!

I can imagine how hard it was to restore and looking at the effects of misuse, I'm surprised you got anywhere with it.. I have one just the same but a high wattage which is why I have a heavy power capsule for mine but apart from a slightly bent sled which I'll straighten out, it works great for a second hand jig saw.. thank you for a fabulous video.... oh and mine still has the blade release on the top lol

excellent video! whenever I see someone do a restoration of any electronic device I never see them show any love to the technical components with all their attention on the mechanic parts. The gesture of removing the rust was small, but a detail that was definitely appreciated. Excellent video overall! I'm not quite experienced enough to disassemble something like this for repairs but have a lot of admiration for the folks that do. ONE DAY *shakes fists*

love watching restoration videos, a man after my own heart, the jig saw you restored was a gst 2000, a very fine german made bosch, when they made quality stuff, I have a spare one of these in full working order if you need it for parts, I noticed yours was missing the sds tensioner to remove and change blades, if you aqre uk based I would gladly ship it to you for free, great video. tristan

I am fascinated by these restoration videos - sure things are hard - full credit for fixing this machine - it would have taken me days more than you, as I would have mapped out what bits are what - too long under all this fixing and cleaning and putting back together. much more harder than fixing a damn loo I had to do a while back = without the video from You tube, I would have to employ a plumber - even though I am smart enough to work it out - I just needed to be 100% sure - well done for you fixing this complex machine :-)
