You are selected to the Restoring Hall of Fame!!!! Wow impossible to restore but trying to figure out how to find another alternative. Never give up!!!
Using little more than determination and patience, it went from junk to a really useful working and honest tool. Complete and heartfelt praise is well deserved 🧡 Thank you!
I did feel your pain during the whole disassembling process. But the satisfaction and glory of achieving the finished product are all yours, my friend. Congratulations.
This should be the benchmark that all future youtube restorations are measured against. This thing has been to hell and back and you resurrected it. Good on you.
Without a donor grinder, that restoration never had a chance. To be honest, I didn’t even think any of the parts of the grinder were going to be usable, corrosion was really too extensive to warrant restoration but you did it against all odds. Great job!!!
How I would restore this: Step 1- Scrutinise the grinder for places to work on Step 2- Unscrew a few screws. Step 3- Give up hope, throw it into the bin where it belongs Awesome job dude!
Hats off to you my friend, too often we're in a throw away society. With a little grit, determination and perseverance we can all make a difference and a positive impact to the planet. Well done to you my friend and thanks for sharing .
Boa Noite! Você é o Mago dos Restauradores! Eu achei quase imposivel restaurar a máquina, mas você fez o inacreditável! Excelente vídeo, continue assim! Forte abraço!
Man you did such a good job. Restoring damaged plastic is a hell of a task and especially the challenge you had dissembling the various parts at the beginning it’s great you stuck at it and saw it through.
Wow, now that was amazing :D I did not have hope for that grinder. Well done sir ! btw: Some bearings can open from the side so you can re-pack them with new grease for a longer life. Thanx for sharing this video.
You, sir, have the patience of a saint. My first impulse when faced with the stuck armature and other parts would have been to toss the son of a gun into the trash. Great work in restoring it !!
Recommend drenching the tool in penetrating oil and letting it sit for a couple of days, repeat and let it sit a couple more days. Penetrating oil needs time to be effective.
On the minute "10" i was like damm this video is wasting my time. But i again at the same time i was so curious on how this video was going to end. And honestly. . . great video . . . Saludos deade Portland Oregon 👍😎
I also got a broken angle grinder. It was in good condition but it was only missing the brushes and the adaptor. So I decided to add the adaptor. It costs around $1. Next I decided to add the handle, wheel guard and brushes. They didn't charge me for that. So the whole thing costs only about $1 !
I can't believe you were able to make "silk from a sow's ear"!!! Beautifully done, sir! Thank you ❤!
How’s ear?
@@Gringleheim Thank you! I corrected it 💖
Now that's what I call RESTORATION. No fakes. Just straight up talent and skills. Almost impossible to repair, but you did it. Thanks for the upload.

Thanks for the good video👍👍👍
I can't believe the patience and persistence on this piece.
Danke. Tolle Arbeit
This makes me appreciate the clean water coming out of my tap! For those of us who have that, it is hard to believe that so many don't.
I don't think I would have tried to restore something that far gone, but I have to admire your dedication and it turned out great.
This should be the benchmark that all future youtube restorations are measured against. This thing has been to hell and back and you resurrected it. Good on you.

Congrats man!! Your effort and persistence are incredible... i ve been suffering the entire video...
Perfecto está muy bonito 😍
Honestly not the most beautiful restoration I’ve ever seen but by far the most impressive. This is wild that you got this back into working order.

Well done man ! - You did a great job restoring that angle grinder - It is now a useful power tool once again 👍👍👍
Absolutely incredible I would have given up but it's amazing how you can make trash into treasure.

Worth repairing? absolutely not.... Worth watching someone repair? Hell yes! Good job.
Only a patient and creative person can restore an object's function
How I would restore this:
Step 1- Scrutinise the grinder for places to work on
Step 2- Unscrew a few screws.
Step 3- Give up hope, throw it into the bin where it belongs
Awesome job dude!
Step 4- go to harbor freight
Step 1. Buy a new one.
