      @Laura Nasewytewa Well if you didnt then you have no soul, and no feelings for others. For some people this scene reminds then of something that had happened to them in the past,so dont you dare call us babies just because you dont understand the meaning of depression and back stories, you really need to learn to have some respect for others..

    When the great grandfather died Jesse wouldn't cry but If it wasn't for Michele skipping school and hiding in that boat Jesse would never cried, Michele got him to break Down.. After she said "I was his little Michelle" it made Jesse realize that he was gone . So Michelle really helped Jesse breakdown.

    • @walker12249
      @walker12249 9 лет назад +22

      its like michelle and Jesse are really close. they are really close because Jesse is only comfortable breaking down in front of michelle. when Jesse and becky were moving in to becky’s place when Jesse and michelle said bye michelle cried so did Jesse. and in this episode michelle really helped Jesse has he relised he was gone and when jesse was talking he was tearing up. but when michelle said “uncle jesse is it ok to cry” he was strong by holding the tears but when he said yes its like he wont cry infront of everyone but infront of michelle he just breaks down. he cant be strong infront of michelle. but with the rest of the family yes because he doesnt want to be seen as weak.

      Me, too! More family sitcoms need to be like this instead of family being mean to each other for laughs! Jesse was a good uncle to his nieces unlike Bernard Jeffery McCullough who threatened to "beat Vanessa 'till the white meat shows".
      People who criticize the shows light-heartedness truly "despise the good!"

    I remember watching this episode last year, I remember crying too. I'm 13 and almost nothing can make me cry. But when I saw this episode I cried, it hurt me. I've had my fare share of deaths in the family, like losing all my extremely close grandparents by the time i was 11, this episode really hit home for me, but I do i think it teaches an important lesson to kids about dying.

      Same here, and me too. I was losing my grandpa around the time they made this episode, and pretended like I didn't care. Very unhealthy. Remember what Michelle asks in this clip--is it okay to cry? "You bet" as Jesse says; Jesse is right. It's unhealthy to be numb.

    When I was little my grandpa would always call me "mi hija'. I didn't know what it meant since I couldn't understand spanish but it made me happy. It wasn't until my graduation many years later after his death did I found out that he was actually calling me his daughter. Jesse was treated like a son by his grandfather which it even more painful.

      +Melissa Stuby I never got to say goodbye to my Grandmother when they passed away I can relate to Jesse because my Grandparents didn't live in the same country as me. I last saw my Grandfather when I was 5 in 1987 and I last saw my Grandmother was 13 in 1995 this episodes always hits me pretty hard and it's harder because if they don't live in the same country you don't get to see them often and I used to visit my Grandmother every summer and my Grandfather I saw him in the summer/early fall the one time.

  • @josephbettano2569

    Poor Michelle. She really loved Papouli. I was just as devastated as she was when my grandmother died 13 years ago. I was also that devastated when my grandfather died of cancer last year. Both of them loved me so very much, which made it bittersweet to see them go. I no longer have any living grandparents. Grandparents and kids really share a unique bond that is much different from the bond kids share with parents yet so very special, which makes it bittersweet when the grandparents go.

    Glad to know others are still watching Full House lol. Hopefully some from the newer generations as well as mine. But yeah, this episode is vastly different than all the other ones: from the acting, to the music... to me it feels like a whole other show at times, or more like Full House from a parallel universe where instead of sub-par comedy and over-the-top sillyness, and relationship issues, and Disneyland, it's instead totally serious and tragic... It's truly a special episode that manages to deliver an important, relatable message to us all - that sadly, time here on Earth with our loved ones is short, and we should make the best of it and tell our loved ones how we feel about them, before it's too late.

      This episode is serious. I also feel the pilot episode is very serious when D.J. is nearly in tears over having to share a room with Stephanie and missing her mother and then Danny shares in missing his late wife but tells D.J. that they need to be together for each other. The other one I feel is very serious is the slumber party episode when Stephanie is upset that she didn't have a mother to go to her slumber party with, but D.J. tells her she misses her mother too but reminds Stephanie that they are unique in that they live with Danny, Jesse, and Joey. Along with this episode, the two I just mentioned are three of my favorite episodes of the series because of all the sensitivity involved.

    When the music starts at 0:29 "Just Fine" by Daniel Winans gets in my mind. Because even though Jesse, Rebecca, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle felt that all was lost when Papouli died, they knew later on that they'll be just fine.

    I can relate to this so much. My grandmom died this past weekend. Everyone has been crying except for me because I feel like I have to be the only brave one. I've been crying myself to sleep every night and where no one can see me. I was really close to her when I was little. But after I left for college, I didn't get to see her as much. I'm supposed to graduate next year and she always talked about how much she can't wait to see. It hurts that now she won't be able to watch. I love and miss you so much Grammy. See you on the other side ❤️

    I feel like in this episode, Michelle was heartbroken the most. The death of Papouli was super-duper difficult for her to deal with, especially at the age she's at.

    This scene right here is the first time I cried about something on Full House, it was before I went to school, and right around the end of this scene, my step-brother asked me "Are you crying?" I said "No, I have a very big allergy to..." and I just started to cry

    Wow.Thanks for posting this episode. I was looking for this clip everywhere. This probably the saddest of all the Full House episodes. I can relate to this scene because my family lost my uncle on March 20, 2011. I have been thinking about him a lot recently. Yesterday I found a train ticket in my pocket, which had the date of when my mother and I saw him for the last time, March 19, 2011. On that date, my mom and I had a great talk with my uncle for the last time. It was a sunny day. RIP uncle.
