- It's not every day you get to propose to your High School sweetheart. For the past six months, I've been working with an illustrator to animate my girlfriend and myself into her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. On 12/30/19 I popped the question in a theater filled with our friends and family.

Just remember not all girls are like this one! Some are like D from/in BoJack Horseman! Had this girl been D she would have freaked out, ran away, and been very upset about the whole ordeal! Did you notice how she said ''all these poor people''? (1:11) She is the kind of woman who like me, cares so much about others she puts them before herself! Even putting them first in her mind on possibly the biggest proposal day of her life! How often do women get proposed to? I'm sorry but if I was a woman and someone was proposing to me I would likely not be thinking about what the people around me say or think because getting proposed to is like a once in a lifetime event for some people! Others never even get proposed to! Anyway, just thought I'd share a little inspirational thought that this brought to my mind :)

KumaBean actually the two rows behind them were redditors, and the rest of us friends and family were in the back. We all got to hang out for an hour in there before they lowered the lights and timed it specifically so sthuthi and lee snuck in during the previews in the dark. He told us to wear dark clothes and slouch haha

Okay i feel so ignorant but when I see the credit, since it is separated between the illustrator and the animator, so I just thought that he did animated the illustrations. What I mean is he *did* his part in this beautiful project, not entirely by someone else. Then again, in my noob mind never crossed a thought that the illustrator can also animated it soo. Yeah. I'm sorry.

@@freed6038 Kayla did the illustrations, including different positions for the eyelids so they could blink, and I added movement and did the compositing in After Effects. You are both correct, it just depends on how you define "animated".

I just realised that he had considered literally everything. I think had he proposed in a public place, he must have anticipated, that she would be disappointed for the “poor people” around who are being subjected to this unnecessarily. He smuggled in all their family and friends to avoid embarrassing her in front of strangers and help celebrate the moment !
