彼の活動期間は、私の中学生から大学生だった時期とちょうど重なる。
彼は人気もあったけど、それと同じくらい嫌いな若者も多かった。
彼が覚醒剤で逮捕されたとき、彼のファンへの風当たりは強かった。本当に高校に行くのが辛かった。
彼が亡くなったとき悲しんだ人も多かったけど、自業自得だと言う人も多かったし、「また覚醒剤だろう」と言う奴らも多かった。
彼のファンだった者として言いたいことは、彼を美化しすぎるのはやめてほしい！ということ。
彼は父親も母親もお兄さんも大好きだった。
カリスマなんかじゃない。
最後のコンサートツアーは、とてもフレンドリーで温かいものだった。

尾崎豊の歌詞は　言葉の中に微妙な感情が隠れているんだけれど
日本語の比喩や微妙なニュアンスが　上手く外国人に伝わるか心配です。
外国人には　歌い方の感情的なパフォーマンスだけしか評価されないか心配です。
本当の所は歌詞の一文節ごとに　外国人には長文の解説が必要なほどの感情が表現されているのです。
尾崎豊の真骨頂は　人が隠したがる人間の狡く弱い部分を　歌詞の中に自虐的に表現している所
自分を責めて傷付けて悩み続ける姿が　歌詞の中に迸っています。
