When I was a cashier and working nights, it was quiet. We had no customers in the smaller business I worked in and I was the only one in the floor. The only other employee, my supervisor, was in the back doing idk what. This guy comes in but he was acting... Odd? I can't explain it, the way he was talking to me it just felt very weird and I was getting weird, creepy vibes off him. I made my way to the back office and found my supervisor and asked when I could take my last break. He said to give him a minute. I didn't want to make unfounded accusations so I didn't say anything about the creepy guy. So I went back up front and found other things to do as the guy kept wanting to talk to me. He eventually was ready to check out. I reluctantly went up to the registers. Right as I was getting started my supervisor came up front to give me my break. Usually I'd ask if they wanted me to finish, but I left immediately, not needing to be told twice. As my supervisor, a tall black dude, had come up to the front, I noticed the creepy older guy was kinda glaring at him like his presence was interrupting our time together or something. A couple minutes later, as I took my break in the office, the supervisor came in and I confesses to him then that the guy was giving me weird vibes. He said the same thing, noticing the way he reacted when my supervisor came up front. I've never seen him again since then, but there was something just so off about him.

    This was years ago.
A fairly good looking, well spoken guy started visiting my job. He kept asking me to go have coffee with him. Yeah, not happening because of a vibe I got.
A relative of mine visited me at work and thought I was crazy.
Fast forward a couple of years and he and his cousin were arrested live on local TV.
He was the younger of the Hillside Stranglers.
My relative asked me how I knew. I didn't know but I knew something was off.

My father had a bad feeling about one of my teachers. He did not trust me around that man. Dad drove me to school and made me sit in his car with him until first bell rang. Beautiful memories and dad-daughter bonding. But that teacher had a crowd of girls round his desk every morning. Now I recognize his behavior as grooming. Years later, said teacher got time for, yes, cp. Years more after that, teacher was incapacitated by Alzheimer’s and led around by his wife. Karma.

I didn't even have to meet my sister's boyfriend to know that he was bad news, it was just the way she talked about him that set alarm bells ringing in my head.
I tried giving him a chance for my sister's sake, but the more I interacted with him the more reasons I had to dislike him.
My family is still in the middle of this crap fest, but once it's all over all I want to do is give my sister the hug that has been building up for the pass 4 years.
I could never be truly angry at her for what's happening, she just fell in love with the wrong person at a low point in her life and he took advantage of that.

It was two people actually, A new couple that moved into the neighborhood.
My best friend, I'll call him Jack, had a girlfriend, I'll call her Olivia. Well Olivia met these people and befriended them. A couple weeks later a bunch of us were invited to the couple's house for a small party. First red flag was that their apartment looked like crap and had that B.O./sour milk smell. They also both looked like they had a nodding acquaintance with drugs.
The guy set off my radar immediately. It seemed like all he wanted to talk about were the people at work that pissed him off. I could see some major anger issues in him with a side of psychopathy. I then noticed that the couple were abnormally preoccupied with Olivia. Like being extra nice to her and giving her stuff that the rest of us didn't get. I didn't know there was a term for it until years later. Grooming, same thing pedos do to kids to gain their trust.
I had Jack and one of our other friends follow me outside and I explained what I was seeing. Specifically told Jack to do whatever he can to get Olivia away from these people. I couldn't say exactly why but my teenage brain told me they were bad news.
Jack talked to Olivia about it. She decided to rebel and hang out with them anyway. Long story short she gets invited to another of their parties but is the only one who showed up. She gets blind drunk and possibly roofied. Wakes up mostly naked and the couple are doing things to her without her consent. Olivia faked being sick to escape out the bathroom window.
She was so ashamed that it took a couple years before she told anyone what happened.

I didn’t get any confirmation on most of the people that creeped me out but a couple I did. One that I did was chatting me up, when I was 13, in a coffee shop (I live in a small place, an island, so it isn’t that uncommon) he didn’t say anything too weird, just normal chats but it felt off for some reason. Fast forward a few months and no one in the middle or elementary school is allowed out for lunch times unless supervised because there’s someone stalking the property for a while; same physical description as the guy who chatted with me. Fast forward even more and a park is closed off because someone has been found de*d in the creek; same description. Really happy nothing bad happened to me or anyone else (as far as I know). I wonder what he did to end up de*d though. Usually people just get peacefully escorted onto the ferry off the island.
Someone I didn’t get any explanation for is someone I only saw that one time. I was just walking through/chilling in a park for a moment. He came to say hi, didn’t do anything odd at all, just asked how I was doing and if I was enjoying the day, talked about the weather, normal stuff yknow. When we had spoken for a few minutes he asked my name and reached out for a handshake, again that’s normal stuff, but as soon as I touched him for the handshake I felt horrified and disgusted for some reason. I said ‘I gotta go, have a nice day’, wiped my hand on the inside of my hoodie sleeve as I left and was in a near panic for a few hours after that. I have no idea what it was about, maybe he was high and I got some dr*g sweat on me but something about this man just absolutely chilled my entire being and I’ve never had a reaction like that to anyone else. Maybe I do know him and it was an off day, I can’t remember since it was a while ago. Generally people are pretty easy to read here so there’s not too much that is ‘I feel weird about X and no one else does’ cause it’s such a small place.
Thanks for coming to my ramble hahaha

I’ve told this story before, but I’ll tell it again.
My dad’s third ex wife. He introduced her to me and I immediately felt like she was fake. I didn’t want to tell my dad though because he really liked her and I didn’t want him to not love me anymore.
They eventually got married, and she showed her true colors. She was an abusive alcoholic, she neglected her two tiny little dogs (who I fear might be dead now), and she tried to frame my dad for abuse by hitting herself in the face. (which was bullshit because she had a mark from her wedding ring.)
Oh, and she also tried to say my dad was a pedophile because my little sister fell asleep in his lap.
After he left her she stalked him for a while (different state) but I think she’s gone now.

Years ago when we were buying a house, at the closing, the seller's agent was present. He gave me the creeps big time. I even felt violated when our agent shook his hand and laughed and joked with him. It made me dislike her. That is how strongly I felt something was off with that man. Fast forward 10 years...he gets arrested for keeping a woman as a sex slave in a shipping container on his rural property and murdering her boyfriend. Then he confesses to an unsolved shooting from some years earlier where 5 people were shot dead at a local business. Yeah...when you know, you know.

9:41, the vibe is the person triggering your Fight or Flight Reflex... Something Deep Down is telling you that you Either need to Kick his but and RUN for your life, or just RUN for your life as fast as you can... that's why its Called Fight or Flight, because its a Natural Instinct to Protect Ones Self from something Dangerous enough to be Life Threatening.

This guy who’s mother owned a business across the street from where I worked. Although, no one at my work liked him. He always tried to force all the women to hug him. Even the ones his mother’s age. It was very creepy and as soon as he walked in everyone would get behind the counter to avoid him trying to hug them.
He would constantly do that thing where he asked about my boyfriend then get upset that we were still together. One day I had enough and told him even if we did break up I was not interested in him and never would be. So he threw the candy he bought at me and stormed out. Then came in the next day to give me pickled carrots as an apology. Eventually he tried to give me some sort of sobriety chip for not doing some sort of hard drug that was for way less than the amount of time he’d been coming in. And when I refused he got angry again, stormed out, and once more he tried to give me pickled carrots as an “apology”.
It was the most fucked up situation.

Ruined 2-3 folks career, long story short, got caught tap-dancing with property missing "oh, it's in Honduras with my friend..." tens of thousands of dollars of equipment unaccounted for properly. Commanding General told him he has 72 hours to find a new job and be out of the division.

My friend had a "friend" that I hated. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but my friend had a boyfriend and he was just a little inappropriate with her. He was bossy and covertly overbearing. Eventually he tried to get her to cheat with him. The day my friend broke up with her boyfriend the slept together and it made me uncomfortable. Eventually he tried to get her to trick me into coming to his house and persuade me into a 3 some even though he knows I hate him maybe even because I hate him. Now they are in a full time power dynamic relationship. He is her dom 24/7 and we do not speak.

Right after high school I started college. I was 18. This guy that looked about 30 started trying to talk to me between classes and would follow me around. He always had a camera with him and was constantly taking pictures of me or other girls my age. I asked him to stop but he said it was just a hobby and there was no reason to stop. He said he was going to be a photo journalist so I assumed that was his major. He would wait right outside the door when my classes got out and follow me to the next class. He begged me to go with him to his house. I was getting really nervous. One day he wasn't there. I went straight to security but they said couldn't do anything on one person's word. I then went to administration. They said the same thing but they did ask for his name. Turns out he wasn't a student, faculty or staff member. They said it wasn't illegal for the public to come on campus but they would look into the matter. He was back the next day. Then other girls started to complain. At that point they did ask him not to come back on campus. Of course that didn't last. Eventually, the police were called and it was found out he had already been escorted out of the local high school for the same creepy behavior. Last time I saw him he begged me to go see him at his job at the mall. I stopped going there until a male friend told me he had gotten fired. I have no idea what happened to him after that but it couldn't have been good.

yup, had a few ppl like that. two i can think of:
went to hs with this guy who was always a tad odd but i thought he might be alright. he then began being a creep to one of my friends and my large friends group eventually stopped talking to him. fast forward three years (beginning of 2020) and we find out he's in jail. r4ped his kid sister.
another one wasn't as bad, but i met this one new coworker and instantly didn't like him. everyone thought he was nice etc etc. took him a couple weeks to act creepy, making moves on my 19yo friend and showing her lingerie, saying she'd look good in it. 🤢 then he's real touchy with me and my two coworker-friends, tryna hug us and such. i tell him directly, "don't fucking touch me or hug me. i don't like it." what's he do? hug me from behind. as his arms are around my shoulders, i tell him i warned him and bite down as hard as i could. he lets go and i move on. seething. sup comes in and i tell her directly what happened. she's cool, so she makes sure i told him straight up (i did) and tells me she'll watch him and brush my actions (at work) under the rug since i panicked. days go by and he smacks one of my coworkers' ass. nope. my sup gets his ass kicked tf out. other ppl were surprised but defo admitted "yea, i guess you were right" and blah blah "didn't think he could do something like that". whatever.
so, yeah, trust yer instincts. and when in doubt, bite the bitch and they'll leave ya alone for a bit. pun unintended.

I've told this story before, but I have a new Reddit account. I have a former friend, let's call her Molly, who presented herself as this fun-loving, tolerant, accepting, person. The old adage of if people have to say it out loud, then it usually isn't true with especially true with her. She turned out to be a lying, adulterous, manipulative, grifter who would sell even her own children of the rver to get what she wanted. It wasn't until after I went no contact with her (and subsequently had to deal with her stalking me), thought I was able to file me beg her for being a narcissist. No respect for boundaries, no empathy, no sense of remorse or guilt or anything resembling shame. The only time she ever was sorry was when she was exposed for being what she is: a horrible person was a waste of oxygen. Last I heard, Molly's kids are grown, she's is into hock with everyone she knows and is in no position to pay any of them back. Adding insult injury, she's also the caregiver for her husband's spiteful elderly mother-in-law (it's worth pointing out her mother-in-law never liked her) and Molly's grown daughter doesn't let her see her only grandchild. Sounds like karma to me.

When I was 18 I worked at Subway and it was connected to a gas station. There was this guy who worked at the gas station. He was super persistent with wanting to date me so I gave in and we made plans to hang out. I always had a weird vibe. I end up going to his house to hang out and as soon as he opened the door the unbelievably strong stench of b.o came out and he was talking about how much of a "freak" he was. I nope'd right out of that situation. Fast forward and im 26, he send me a message asking to hang out one night. I just ignored the message. He apparently had called someone to come over and give him a massage and he ended up murdering that poor woman. Can't help but wonder what would have happened if I had responded to his message.
