That Stupid Nala Sey I Wanna get my Fists on her.
With this scene, Fives didn't die completely in vain. Rex was able to resist just long enough because of the ordeal. And Ahsoka was able to save Rex because of the report. RIP Fives. You've earned it, soldier.
And if it weren’t for him Ahsoka wouldn’t be there to help Ezra deny Palpatine entry to the World Between Worlds as a giant middle finger.
@@brianboardwell1986 Let's not forget that she also wouldn't have been able to help Mando and Grogu. Hell, we'd still be calling him "Baby Yoda".
@@Thoralmir fr 😂😂😂
The saddest part is that nobody listened to Fives' warning. Even Rex didn't listen. And everybody suffered for it
Palpatine: "You should have listened to the ARC trooper from the beginning!" He was right! I was using you! *evil laugh*"
There wasn't really an actual warning. Fives wasn't able to communicate what would happen because he was all drugged up.
Rex DID listen but did not understand until it was too late.
Kix didn't actually believed Fives but researched about it himself, after finding out Fives was right he removed his own chip and was about to blow the whistle on the Chancellor but he was caught by the seperatists and put into Cryosleep. The seperatist ship crashed and by the time of The Force Awakens, a band of pirates scavenged the ship and discovered Kix. He joined the pirates, leading them to old republic treasures and is known to be the last living Jango Fett clone.
Ham Burglar Yeah, if anyone’s to blame, it’s that Kaminoan b***h who drugged Fives! 🤬🤬🤬
This is exactly what Fives was talking about and everyone in the show though he was crazy, it's really sad he's not around anymore, he was my favorite clone trooper.
dramatic irony, the audience knows what he said was true
@@randomt800kiddo2 I'd love to see the character's reaction when they realize Fives was right.
blue 2 it was palpatine and that damn kamanoin that injected fives with a serum that made him seem delirious
@@burningforyou6078 Fives told her she can't be trusted, I really didn't like her, I just hope nothing bad happens to Jesse and kix, both of them are really cool clone troopers.
blue 2 I don’t know what will happen to Jesse but kix survived and did not participate in order 66 he discovered the chips just like fives said and he was then captured by droids during the battle of coruscant (I think) before the ship was damaged and did a random hyperspace jump so the republic could not find kix
I like how Anakin's failure to follow cybersecurity procedures helped Ahsoka. It must be months since she left the Order, yet she knew that his password would still work.
i mean anakin trusted ahsoka enough to not use his credentials for anything unless she had to.
It's an older code but it checks out
I would make sense for ALL the Jedi security passwords within the GAR system to be invalidated once order 66 has been declared. Anakins Code was probably the ONLY Password that still worked, since he was not encompassed by order 66.
@Topside’s Cinecade Yes, but only after he was enshrined within his suit. Before that they planned to make him the one heroic Jedi that stood up to the treacherous order. Especially during operation Knightfall it was vital that Anakins authority and security clearances within the GAR aswell as the Jedi Order were not questioned.
@@m.g.9468 IIRC, this was even planned before. Since Palpatine controlled both the Republic and the Separatist militaries, he basically decided which battles would be won or lost, and he made sure Anakin would be a hero in every battle he participated in, making him the one exception to the Galaxy's dwindling opinion of the Jedi Order.
"You should have listened to the Arc Trooper from the beginning" - Krell
Wow that line is perfect
I thought of this quote a few years back regarding the events of Order 66 in contrast to Fives' investigation. I always liked how it fits well with the situation.
"I already know this report gonna fall on deaf ears"
I feel you Rex
What does it mean ?
@@denizkuruagac9133 "Fall on deaf ears" kinda speaks for itself. But in case you don't understand slang, it means doubt anybody will listen, believe it, or otherwise.
MrAwesomeness360 ohh i see right now ty for ur help
That’s my favourite thing about this show is that Fives and Maul were treated as insane or delusional because of this nonsense they were spouting. But, if WE, the viewers, had a timeline where the Revenge of the Sith hadn’t come out yet and NOTHING about the years to come was known, we would also think they’re insane.
The irony of this story is what makes it so good. They were so close. They said all the right things. No one could believe it.
No even if prequels hadn’t released yet we wouldve known because it’s a show and we understand that ppl not listening to someone then try turn out to be on to something happens a lot (and they wouldn’t show us that unless it’s important). But if we were actual ppl IN the show then yea we wouldn’t think they’re insane
Nah if there ain't a prequel we would definitely think Maul is insane(cuz he's a Sith) and Fives being mentally questionable.
The fact that Sidious succeeded is insane.
Any number of minor characters sharing their knowledge or a single accountant or investigative journalist doing some digging on their own and his whole plan would have been moot.
Fives literally had Sidious dead to rights. If Shaak Ti hadn't force pushed Fives the Palpatine would be dead.
Kix knew, Rex knew, Anakin knew.
Maul should have flat out said it instead of beating around the bush.
Ahsoka could have said something minor in here meeting with the council and stopped it, or given Anakin a call before going to face Maul.
Honestly, that would’ve been such an interesting setup. If we got the first two movies of prequel trilogy and the entire clone wars except for the last two episodes before Revenge of the Sith first, we would’ve all been like everyone in the show, writing it all off as insane and not possible, but then the last two episodes and RoTS would premiere and it’d all make complete sense.
Rex: _Fights the order_
Cody: *So anyways I started blasting*
He betrayed us
This is getting out of hand, now there are two them
Technically the AT-TE did.
To be fair Rex watched Ahsoka grow up and she was like his little sister. AND he had seen the whole fiasco with fives and knew there was something about the inhibitor chips and the jedi. Subconsciously he was ready for something to happen.
Cody liked Obiwan but they were just work friends, they weren’t as close as Anakin and Rex and definitely not as close as Ahsoka and Rex.
1) Those droids are the cutest things - it's like dogs greeting you when you've been away
2) R7 oh the flashbacks
3) I'm so happy to see Five's sacrifice is not in vain - then I'm sad because he died
Good to know I'm not the only one thinking Astromechs are adorable
If only ahsoka found out sooner about what fives discovered!!!
I have bad news for you
Astromech Droids are my favorite Star Wars Droids
Shattered. A perfect word to name the episode and current state of my heart
Janek order 66 = friendly fire just like all of my emotions and from ROTS all aim at my heart
I both loved and hated these final episodes.
I loved it because of the direction, the music, the emotion, and how we were given the official transition within the show from the prequels to the original trilogy (re-using the audio from _Revenge of the Sith_ with Hayden Christensen was something I never expected)
I hated it because it was heartbreaking to see it all happen again, especially with the clones we’ve watched for years being controlled, having their individuality, the very thing that made them unique, be stripped away. They became droids, but the men they were still existed, trapped within their own bodies as they experience what they’re compelled to do because _good soldiers follow orders._
Couldn’t had said it better! I’m literally heartbroken, my eyes were burning from so much crying
Even in death, my main, Fives, is still helping to save as many brothers as he can... 😢
Glad to see Ahsoka figured out Rex's clue. He wasn't exactly coherent, and any related info is classified, so it would've been an uphill battle, but she got there.
It would also be useful to note that Rex knows and trusted that Ahsoka would be able to find out what he meant, she is smart, knowledgeable of the 501st security protocols and a clue in the right direction would allow her to save Rex, which she does.
My question is how did she know fives was dead, she went straight to the droids after maul. She wasn’t there when fives died she had already left the order, I was surprised to her not going like where’s fives where’s fives?
Elite Clone kid anakin told her during that time
Fat Boy Luciano during what time, the only time they had was the hanger and the hallway. That’s it.
@@Mtab2260 it doesn't really matter is she knew if he was dead. He wasn't on the ship and she needed to act fast.

I'm suprised Rex didn't tell Cody about it they are best friends after all
It's because Cody has been introduced in the film long before Rex was.
Well if you want to, you can ask Dave to create an alternate timeline where Palpatine failed.
If Cody had such a hard time believing Rex about Echo, what more this theory?
I don’t know if Rex thought Cody would believe him. It would be a huge risk, to say everything they were fighting for was fake.
Alex 354 yeah Cody he’s different tbh
Rex wasn't sure about it either, why would he share wild speculation at the time?

@@Test-en8sn Vader kills fox in a canon comic.
I’m glad Fives didn’t die for nothing, he’s the only reason Ashoka survived.
I've got to admit the inhibitor chip is genius. Implanted in their brains so the Clones wouldn't question and defy Order 66 and carry out the betrayal and murders of the Jedi. In ROTS, we all naturally assumed the Clones were just doing as they were told.
Thank you. Someone who's agrees with me. The chips is more realistic than the legends explanation.
I disagree, Order 66 was created in the event that the Jedi attempted to over through the Republic. If you told the public and your army that Mace Windu and three other Jedi tried to kill the chancellor without giving any context to why they tried to kill him, it would seem that the Jedi were traitors. You also have to understand that only the 501st respected their Jedi leaders, the rest didn't and saw them as incompetent and people who have no military experience and just cause unnecessary death.
@@wolfplayer7815 I was talking about the writing.
I think carrying out a genocide on the sheer merit of "following orders" as lifetime soldiers is more impactful than mind control chips, really, and it allows for more questions to be answered - maybe Palpatine's been constantly shifting most assignments around so the clones never develop any sort of attachment with their Jedi generals (of course Anakin would be exempt because he's supposed to fall, and unintentionally Ahsoka for the same reason), he's had to figure out how to deal with the more-independent ARCs (threatening them with battlefield execution in ROTS), and so on. It's not like it changed the outcome with Rex, and they could've had some of the other strong-willed clones potentially go out fighting their own brothers instead of getting cut down by Jedi, which I think would've been more emotional.
I feel like the chips make sense. It's like an army of sleeper agents. One flip of the switch and you can achieve your goals. With natural clones without forced protocol you run the risk of more of them denying their orders due to attachments
Sad thing about this, Fives would’ve been the Jedi’s savior of preventing Order 66 from happening if only he had more time to explain his evidence on the chips and fucking Fox hadn’t shot him 🤦🏽♂️
I love how ahsoka actually gives the droids a choice in helping her
Love how they included R7... Ahsoka's droid from the OG seasons
If 5s hadn’t done what he had done, Rex wouldn’t have tried to resist or give Ahsoka the tip to look up his report. He would have gunned her down without hesitation.
Basically 5s saved Ahsoka
Everything would be different if Fives was alive.
"I know this will fall on deaf ears." No kidding how Anakin never shared that information with the rest of the order.
If Anakin brought it up, Palpatine probably would have told him not to worry about it
@@carlycrays2831 Or the council would've still been arrogant and ignored it
Dave Filoni's voicing one of the astromechs, isn't he? XD
It actually makes sense that Palaptine would allow Anakin's code to access sensitive information like this after they established the Empire.

@Johnathon Davis Best part of the episode -- and pushed Maul back into being one of my favorite Star Wars villains.
The Mercenary Gamer honestly I’m a huge maul fan now that shit was EPIC this whole arc was absolutely phenomenal
For some reason, I found this part creepy. Finding out on a hologram what is going on behind the scenes with Rex being scared and confused ...
Well, it's the lighting, the music and just another revelation about how elegantly simple the plan with the chips were.
After all, the clones really aren't people. All the military titles are just window dressing to hide the very real fact that they are less than slaves, they are government equipment, brought and paid for to be used and disposed of.
@@carlycrays2831 and that is one of the greatest tragedies of all
@@johnhanifin1952 What's interesting is, looking at both TCW and Rebels, Rex as a character is treated much more like a human being in Rebels than he really was in TCW.
@@carlycrays2831 he's treated much more like a human because by the time of the Empire, there weren't too many that remembered the clone troopers. The Empire saw them as discarded tools, Hera saw them as heroes when they worked alongside the Jedi, Kanan felt betrayed by them after order 66(rightfully so), and Ahsoka saw them as friends, even after Order 66. No one else in Rebels really knew much about the Clone Wars, so they saw Rex as an invaluable military leader, not someone expendable. And thus they treated him more like a human than most people besides Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi Wan, and Plo Koon would've in TCW. It's honestly really heartwarming when you think about his arc in that entirety.

What if Anakin didn’t turn to the dark side?
What if Palme hadn’t died?
What if Ashoka stayed?
What if Obi Wan left the order for Satine?
What if QuiGonn had lived?
So many possibilities!
What if anakin became targeted by order 66
Fives's sacrifice directly resulted in the survival of Ahsoka and Rex, and both of them went on to play major roles in the fight against the empire. So in a way, Fives contributed to the fall of the Empire

Nala Se was one of my favorites
I'd love to see a Star Wars Story where a Jedi escapes Order 66, uncovers what the Kamanoans have done and goes to Kameno is to shut down and destroy the cloning facility.
This scene did make me wonder why Ahsoka didn't put the information on a disc to show Anakin, the Jedi Council (or what was left of it) or even allies in the Senate. She figures it out with Rex's help but does nothing with the information.
Does she even has a disc? And after all is said and done, what exactly is she supposed to do with the information?
Heck, Palpatine can just say that, yes, the Jedi were plotting to overthrow him. Thus, the chips worked exactly how they were supposed to
The ship is crashing and the Clones are trying to kill her, where would she find the time?
Wouldn't matter. At this point Anakin is either in-route to the temple for the slaughter or has already begun it with what was remaining of the 501st on Coruscant. Order 66 takes place right after Mace was thrown out the window and Anakin transformed into Vader
Fives in Clone Heaven:You see?I was Telling the Truth! And No one believed that this would happen!
