If only yall narrow minded superficial folks can get past the outer appearance to get the nessage. Life happens. Its good to see him slove snd well. Many aren't alive or well. Show us puctures of y'all from the 70s vs now do that folks can critique your looks sbd how well youve aged.
@@719kai719 thank you! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I don’t know why we as black people always throw away our entertainers and celebrities when they age. Like if your not forever young you’re not cool anymore. These people paved the way and made history and I’m sure done more than any of those who put them down or don’t appreciate their contributions to black art and our people.
Perfectly Said 👏👏👏
Couldn't have said it better myself 😊
I loved Michael's performance in Good Times .. He Always had such an intelligent and curious role ....people today that do not have any real age in them. Don't believe they're ever going to get Old and older and that their looks will fade. Instead of appreciating the trailblazers that came before us, social media is a weapon for criticizing and critiquing someone's physical appearance. When it is only just a vessel thats holds a greater being!. None of us are in control of how we look. We came in to this world without even being asked and we got what was given to us. And people should be lucky if they're born, attractive or halfway decent looking instead of criticizing other people for their lack of attractiveness.. Can you imagine if everyone took off their wigs, weaves eyelashes fake nails fake teeth fake boobs. Fake toupees. fake behinds fake eye color. Just take everything off And bare yourself totally naked to the world..? Too dark, too light, too fat too. Skinny this country is a trip! And the people therein don't understand what it's like to constantly be criticized and bullied for your appearance. In some continents the lack of beauty is considered a beautiful thing in the eyes of their beholders. But in this country people are so freaking superficial and fake. And quick to criticize. So close-minded.
Why are y’all telling this man to LET IT GO??? This man is BLACK HISTORY!!!!!! Thank GOD we still have him to speak about his experience!!
@TerriCarrollI second that emotion 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
lol black history
Thank you, because that was disrespectful for say that 🦬
@@tadowwent9055 it's not a joke
His experience is exceptional. There is no need for him to let go of good times. Thank you Mr. Carter for setting an amazing example. 😊
He is truly a nice guy. He lives in my cousin's apartment building in Brooklyn. His mother recently passed away in her late 90's.
This man is the epitome of kindness and elegance..
Isn’t he though? Glad to see him.
Huge Facts 👏
He is so well spoken and intelligent, very gracious and talented actor.
Right! Always have been!❤
That’s for sure 👏
Love the way he makes the connection between mothers that 'get along' and their children following suit. 💕
Yep that’s how it was in those days idk about now.
@@banksta72 It only takes raising children in a loving, nurturing and respectful environment that encourages cooperation. Both boys and girls benefit from that and move more easily in the world. They're easy to spot.
Yes, I caught that also and really appreciate how he pointed that out.
Yes, was Awesome!
@@aliahjones2401Same here
He is very intelligent and articulate. Good Times was a perfect example of black families struggling in the past and present. Despite the struggle the parents still taught their children morals and values.
He’s so eloquent and dashing
Dignified And Distinguished 😂❤
He speaks well for a black person.
@@Johnny-gm9woSay what??!!!

Eloquent, articulate, intellectual. Thank you for being an inspiration to us all
I wish we still had shows like this. Grounded, a lesson, family...
Michael is still Michael ✊🏾❤thank you Brother for Good Times 🙏🏾💪🏾🫶🏾👏🏾🔥🖤May God KEEP Blessing You 🙏🏾
I love his voice, it's very comforting, it definitely draws you in
Beautiful voice.
Thank you for showing the world a great time. My family use to set in the living room and watch this show Good times. Every cast member played a special part on that show. I will always watch good times until I’m 105 and more. Tv shows like this keeps you young and grounded.
That is awesome!
Underrated
Eloquent and gracious. I love his whole vibe 🎉celebrate our Kings👑. And to the comments saying let it go, he has, it's "us" that keep bringing him out to speak as we should.
Ralph is so gracious and humble ❤️🙏
This is old school wisdom right here. I love him.
I love Ralph's style..
I like him
Springs in the air there's magic everywhere, when you're young and in love
Thank you sir for the Good Times, we have had watching the sitcom over the years.
Mr. Ralph Carter, a class act. Ancestor Esther Roll would be proud. Thank you and the entire Good Times cast for showing a strong, godly and dignified black family on T.V.❤❤
He was adorable on Good Times
This dearly beloved brother is a big part of the life for so many in my generation. His “take no nonsense” character was groundbreaking in the history of television.
I'm (personally) very, VERY grateful for 'Good Times' ESPECIALLY the "Black Jesus" episode. I haven't watched it much lately, but that's one of my absolute FAVORITE episodes.
Aside from that, I think that if I were to see Mr. Carter out and about somewhere, I wouldn't even recognize him. Especially with the long hair. I don't know how old he is now, but with all of that hair, I'd say he aged pretty well.
Much thanks for the part that you played on 'Good Times'.
Shalom to you and your family 🕎
I concur with your sentiments and your favorite episode....
HalleluYah!
Such a good actor. His Michael was always "alive". Even if he wasn't part of a conversation, he listened intently and reacted.
God Bless thus brother and thank you for all of your work.
He’s a lovely, well spoken person 🥰
Love & respect you Sir. I was happy to find a clip of you singing at Thelma & Keith’s wedding on RUclips . I taped the episode/rerun 20+ years ago and was sooo upset when it wouldn’t work anymore but now I can hear you sing anytime. God bless you & thank you so much for the laughter, memories & joy you’ve brought us.
He's a living legend and he is well spoken💯
I met him at my God Brothers stage play of A Raisin in the Sun 30 plus years ago at the YMCA in downtown Brooklyn. Always sharp and humble. Glad to see he's never changed. God Bless him.
I HEARD HE IS A VERY PLEASANT PERSON WHAT A GOOD IMPRESSION ON PEOPLE 😘❤❤
I LOVE RALPH CARTER AKA MICHEAL EVANS I REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES 😂❤❤❤
Good Time brought a lot of laughs and good times in my house when I was a kid. My brother and sisters could not wait for Tuesdays at 7:00 pm to come. Tuesdays brought lots of fun to us. Thank you.
I would like to hear him speak on other topics within the black community. People can definitely learn a lot from him. Great orator!
I'm just glad that Ralph Carter is still with us. I'm a product of the 60's and grew up with all of the 70's shows. So, what he 'looks' like now in this time, age and era is so irrelevant. That fact that its a blessing to still see him along with Jimmy and Bernadette is a sweet blessing.
Much Respect ✊🏽💪🏽👏🏽👑💯
He's a very humble and talented man. I watch the show every day 3 or 4 episodes in a row. Lol
Thank you Ralph God bless you
I love the way he speaks.
His eyes and him are a Vibe. ❤
THIS MAN SPEAKD GREAT YOU CAN TELL HES EDUCATED,CLASSY, AND, HES VERY GREAT, CLASSY, BUT YOU CAN TELL SMART
I love his style and I love that he's coming out and starting to speak more and do more events
Very well spoken...humble
Michael!!!!!!!!! I have all Good Times Seasons. And it's so cool seeing him then and now ❤
This is exactly how I imagined Mike Evens would look like as an old man. (Just to avoid any confusion, I do not mean that in a negative way. Ralph Carter is obviously a very humble and intelligent man. Just like how Mike Evens would have grown up to be.)
Michael!!!!
You were perfect for that role Mr. Carter 😉👌💯
He is amazing! Love my Good Times brother!
I saw the complete show last night on RUclips where they were all on stage, with Ernest Thomas and John Amos was there thru FaceTime or whatever. But anyway he’s speaking about this because that’s what the interview was all about GOOD TIMES. Ralph Carter is a very intelligent man. Jimmie Walker As well. Bernadette Stanis still beautiful and the interview was very interesting I didn’t want it to end. Interview was when they were in Wilmington.
Fantastic I’m glad you were able to take in the vibes
Love him still❤🎉
Wilmington Delaware or North Carolina?😊
You had to be a real fan to remember those lyrics
Love hearing Mr. Carter speak.
My love❤❤ LEGENDS
Thank you Mr Carter
Big ups to him 👍🏿.
MIKE, YOU ARE ONE OF THE GREAT'S!!! THANK YOU SOOOOO VERY MUCH!!!!❤😂🙏🫶👍🤙❤😂

HE LOOKS WISE AND INTELLIGENT ❤
Thank you bruh 🙏 nice n u looking well
Lookin like Redd Foxx to me i don't see Michael
Damn did he look worse?
He seems to have taped into his hire self. He is a star child.
I love u just watching ugood times this am
Little militant Michael. Loved that character!👍🏽❤️💚🖤
Always so intelligent.
Talented man!
My young Brother, it was so good seeing you guys on the Breakfast Club, brought tears to my eyes! Just to let you know, you are an Israelite, looks like from the Tribe of GAD, the 12 Tribes of Israel! Your heritage goes back much further than you think!! Our History is in he KJVA Holy Bible Scriptures from front to back!
Watching him talk makes you think this is exactly how Micheal Evans would be at this point. Almost like he played himself on Good Times lol
Ralph is always articulate, gracious, thoughtful, and on point. It's hard to listen to many of the younger celebrities today. They talk as if they just walked off the set of "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka!" and "Menace to Society". Today, some people think it's being "real" sounding like an illiterate parolee. I disagree.
Good Times! Yeeeeah!
Very wise❤❤❤
Didn’t even know he was still around, and I’m glad! Now that reboot travesty from Netflix? It reeks of anti blackness. And I’m white. For folks like me this was not my first exposure to black culture and black people but it was a joyous, funny, sad and altogether brilliant show, because while we were poor as hell growing up we were never excluded, never ghettoized. And now the producers of the show wanna keep the Evans family in the projects. Ain’t Cabrini Green gone by now anyway? Much love to Ralph Carter and the rest of his cast mates.
I heard that ❤
Great show
❤❤❤❤
I used to have a crush on him, when I was a little girl. At age of 9 years old
😊❤❤❤❤
He has explained this a few times, I can tell how smoothly it rolled off his tongue. Also, he is speaking too highly im thinking he has done a lot of work off-screen after good times.
It's great to see Ralph
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
What’s that in back of his head and that piece of hair coming down on the right side of his head he turn real weird and looks older than he is
I still love him ❤
Wow! 😮
🙏❤️💐
Wow really👀 third actor hired?
Indeed, that’s what he said.
What's surprising about that?
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😌
Good gob on the history topics, Shout out, Stephen Black from your fifth grade class...
Black icon 💯
I believe that he was contracted to come speak about “good times “so if the cow still got milk, then you milk it until it’s dry! That would be like telling Tony Robbins to stop being a motivational speaker if that’s his job to be a motivational speaker!🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Seems like a great guy. Why is his hair always so strange?
I’m happy for him. He seems well adjusted. Lots of child actors are angry. ❤
Favorite on the show
So real😊❤
Hey fam ❤🎉😊
He looks so old . Glad folks are saying he is a good guy.
