I see a few comments about how the lady won't stop talking. My dad is like this. It's because he's getting older and doesn't have someone to talk to so when given the chance to talk he forgets about the norms of pausing in conversation to let the other person have a turn. I wish her the best and hope she can find help/someone beyond only Ramsey's advice to find peace and the answers she's looking for. Everyone deserves to feel listened to. Also: this is a reminder to call your parents, they miss you.
There's a great book called Rising Above a Toxic Workplace by Dr Gary Chapman. It really helped me and I'd recommend it.

He didnt cut her off!!! He has a radio show and she kept saying the same thing over and over. The caller knows what she wants in her heart. She just needed reaffirmed in her decision. Great call Dave!
Ive always enjoyed listening to Dave but his callers are so annoying. Can you compact your question to like a 15 word or less interrogative? Could you image working with this woman?

What a rambling mess of a question. Reign her in, Dave!
Yes, she went on but Dave’s answer was not helpful at all. A lot of potential employers have pre-conceived notions about candidates. He didn’t help her at all - she’s struggling trying to figure out if to leave, how to leave. Telling her to leave without having a plan, how to deal with the emotional and tactical ways to do this effectively is pointless. There are thousands of people are in this situation.
