recently a player by the name of spcreat has made significant progress on the upcoming top 1 hardest extreme demon known as banshee geometry dash, which is a sequel to hard machine that was originally given to spaceuk. it could dethrone tidal wave, but will it be able to? how to grief and the apocalyptic trilogy fit into this as well? thanks for watching!

day 5 of asking for Wavix to do this: What if Zoink had a heart attack and died, causing Spaceuk to return to the community with no hacks. Then, with the help of cherry team, space verifies bloodlust 2 and becomes immortalized as the verifier. Alternatively, you could just have Zoink dying from a heart attack.

@@waveiscursed I can tell the difference between them and I've only beaten like 2 or 3 extremes. The difference is being able to tell the difference between them and having the proof to back it by being able to play it/not play it if its too hard.

@@SantaClooshe shouldn’t be given recognition on pointercrate since that is part of their penalty, but spaceuk has provided the required evidence and there is nothing to suggest that he hacked his post-exposal progress/completions

i feel like there's two types of top 1... the ones like tidal wave that are just an absolute onslaught of difficulty that goes on for ages, or one like banshee that's short but packs a punch
2:50 Minor correction, he actually did beat The Golden legit about a year ago on the channel "birduk".
Whether he's still hacking or not is up to y'all, but he did claim to beat it, *and* posted the completion video with clicks that aren't nearly as delayed.
I definitely think Banshee will at least dethrone Avernus.
So sad that spaceuk left to continue his piano career. Gonna miss him :(

Okay, in terms of Apocalyptic Trilogy Banshee has absolutely nothing to worry about, but Grief might be a problem. Just so you know I am very updated on what's happening with Apocalyptic Trilogy, it is planned to be nerfed but I hope that my desire to play the unnerfed version will change APTeams mind (I play the level every time I get on gd, even if it is for like a little bit).
How to make a top 1:
Step 1: spike wall
I feel like it would get placed above Avernus below TW for the time being. However, I feel like it might be one of those levels that the difficulty is underestimated so it gets placed lower than it should be. Then gets put in a more accurate position later along the line. Kind of like Silent Clubstep. Possibly making it above TW in the future.
IDK I think Flamewall is still a lot closer than Grief. I know the verifier is much less skilled than Doggie but Grief is just an absurd level and seems like one of those epic yearlong grinds inbound to me.
If zoink sees this he’s gonna buff nullscapes to the human limit

Btw space beat the golded legitimately months ago. The last thing he beat was like Crimson Planet and playing runs on the hallucination

Acheron an Avernus already did swap, I looked on the demon list one day and Acheron was top 1 again, it didn't last very long though.

I think that banshee might be harder than tidal wave because of the enjoyable gameplay it reduces the way the difficulty is laid out across the level. wpopoff says on his tidal wave completion vid that He is unsure if this might be harder than acheron, As acheron also has somewhat good gameplay. banshee however is just really hard machine gameplay but worse imo so the timings and transitions are worse and harder than Tw's transitions and gp. And the levels could be swapped at any moment, also some players might find levels harder than others because most top players give Tidal wave an average high enjoyable experience, that should include in the difficulties with the level.
I don't know why, but I just NEED to see 2 TOP 1s being verified on the same day.

Your logic has some flaws- Spaceuk “verified” slaughterhouse yet when he was exposed he admitted he barely played the level and knew basically nothing about the difficulty of the level, so to assume he knew anything about Banshee which he never even hack verified is faulty thinking at best. So all we have to go off for the difficulty is the verifiers estimation which for the record he has no notable progress on any top 3’s.
I think zoink and popoff are going to spawn kill the level.

hypnosis is a challenge level by icedcave that is harder than tidal wave, currently being verified by diamond. however in 2.2 the in-game length has changed from 29 seconds to 30, making it technically an upcoming top 1 extreme demon, rather than a top 1 challenge.

What exactly did 2.2 change in physics?
What was changed irreversibly:
-Some bugs that could as well be mechanics, like jumping from ceiling, are fixed
-Cube jumps work like on 60 FPS now, so, relatively to 360 FPS in 2.1, normal jumps are slightly smaller and double jumps are slightly bigger (which also means that the difference between them is more significant)
