Jennifer, your cards are cute as can be but what really blows me away is the kindness you share with others! I know this labor of love well as I make and share as much as possible. I admire how you keep with it and always encourage others to share with others through our craft that they're appreciated or thought of. Thank you for sharing what you do and the kindness of your beautiful soul! God bless!
I KNEW these illustrations were familiar! I wish more companies would pair with children’s books illustrators providing the illustrator is willing. Being a teacher right now is tough stuff....I’ve tried to not fall in a puddle and cry all week. And now here I am all teary watching this. Thanks for the encouragement and wonderful tips :)
At 74 I no longer need cards for teachers but these tips will help me make bunches of cards for people here at my senior living center and nearby nursing homes! I do thoroughly enjoy your videos. Thank you for all of your hard work to make our work easier!
Jennifer - I think with each video one can't be any better than the last or how many things can I learn in just one video. WELL this is the one! I'm going to watch a few more times to just get all the steps in order but the results are fabulous. Not only to you beautiful cards but you have created 50+ cards for what a wonderful mission to support teachers. You are a kind soul for all the good things that you do and for sharing your never ending talent with us all - all is priceless! I thank YOU.
Great illustrator stamp set! I love these! Being a former teacher, i know and recognize the importance of recognizing teachers. Thank you for the reminder, I know that I needed one. God bless you and your family!
As always Jennifer...you do such great tutorials. I love your cards. Thank you. Also, you always do such a good job of thanking teachers. They so deserve our thanks and praise. It would be great to recognize our college professors also. And let’s not forget all the support staff!
WOW!!! For such a tiny person you have HUGE and great inspiring ideas. And I know all of the teachers and other Covid HEROS that you have made cards for must really appreciate them. Thank you.
As a middle school teacher who is truly stressed more than ever this year. It warms my heart that you are doing this for your teachers. It will mean soo much to them! ❤️
I can't tell you how much these quick production tips have helped me. I had 2mths to get as many cards for cancer patients as possible. I am proud to say I got over 1500 cards done. Yeah
Jennifer, you are such a creative genius....I would have never thought of doing all this, would have gone the long, hard way. Thanks for the time-saving ideas.
What a WONDERFUL thing to do for teachers! They will be so appreciative! I LOVE those stamps!! Thank you for all the vast tips in this video!!! I; like everyone else; LOVES your work!! Truly amazing!
Love the storybook look.Love the illustrator. I'm a retired principal and made many teacher encouragement cards through the years. When I retired each person in the school gave me a rubber stamp. In these difficult and challenging times there are many things on teachers' plates trying to accommodate the needs of all the children while also dealing with the technological challenges. I'm glad you are encouraging our dedicated teachers with these thoughtful cards. I think parents need encouragement, too. So you can extend this thoughtful idea to friends who are dealing with work and children at home.
Jennifer, I am a retired elementary teacher. (I retired in 2012 and quickly took up card making, sending cards to Operation Write Home.) I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the teachers you are supporting. Teachers usually go into teaching for the shear love of children, helping others, and sharing their love of learning. Unfortunately, that is not what teaching is about today, and even before COVID. I cannot imagine being back in the classroom at this time. Every moment is a challenge for the teachers. Thank you for thinking of them during this difficult time. Teachers are often forgotten, but they should be remembered along with the first responders and medical professionals. THANK YOU 💕THANK YOU 💕THANK YOU 💕 Oh, and I learned a lot from this video, as I do from all of your videos. I love YOUR teaching style!
Once again you shared a helpful technique that is going to save your views time while making what appears to be a difficult card. I love single layer cards and you make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your time, talent and ideas. Another thing that I love about your pulling only 1/2 of the magic masking backing is that you can pull the other half after the first side looses it's sticky.
Jennifer, you are certainly appreciated. Many thanks for your creative sharing. This is beautiful and time saving, and the technique will make it possible to share loving thoughts faster. So encouraging.
Oh my goodness. Love all those cute cards!!! Thank you so much for sharing all your tips and trics. I definitely will use your masking/coloring trics. Thank, thank, thank you!
This is a great technique that I am anxious to try. I think it would be wonderful to make cards for other school staff as well as the teachers. My mom is an assistant in the health room at 2 schools and it’s miserable for them this year. Their workload has about quadrupled and they are constantly being yelled at by angry parents, doctor offices, and others who tend to forget that they didn’t make the rules they have to enforce. The staff in the offices need encouragement as much as anyone else.
Jennifer’s videos are the only ones I save before even watching them since I have never been disappointed and have learned something from ever single one. Thank you so much Jennifer😊
This is FABULOUS! I'm a teacher and appreciate the encouragement! We all need it right now. I am going to try this technique with some of my students. We are making cards for homeless shelter residents. THANK YOU!
Super adorable Jennifer!!! I used to read this book to my now 17 year old young man when he was a little man, he loved it!!! Love the coloring shortcuts definitely going to give this a go! Thanks so much for always inspiring!!! Blessings & virtual hugs!!!
All of these are incredibly creative, so sweet, and are amazing cards for teacher! I need to make some cards for my sons 👩🏫 teachers. They have been working so hard through this pandemic new way of teaching virtually! Thank you for sharing all these tips and techniques!
I am enjoying the masking techniques you have shared with us. All are fantastic. I have stamps that I rarely use because I don't like coloring them. I'll need to bring them out of retirement and give all these a try. Thank you.
Fabulous cards and I learnt so much about masking. I will get the Gina K masking paper in my next order. Thank you for the inspiration, and thinking about your local teachers. I am retired now but I would always appreciate cards from pupils and parents. Thank you ! 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍
Oh Jennifer your cards are stunning, elegant & gorgeous!! It was amazing and mesmerizing watching your creative process and seeing your vision come to life!! The way you colored the critters are amazing! You so did a super impeccable magnificent Job by giving all these cards to the teachers. Thanks for your outstanding tutorial and sharing your tips, tricks & techniques!!
The technique is fabulous! I can see using for multiple Christmas cards and a few teacher cards. Thanks for all you do, you deserve a few appreciations cards too!
This is the best coloring tip ever!! I can't wait to give it a try. That idea is really a time saver! These new stamps are awesome and I can't wait for mine to get here. TFS!!
Just ingenious! Will have to try this technique. So nice of you to think of teachers! As a retired teacher, I know teachers will appreciate your lovely cards.
I'm sitting here with my mouth open....what a fantastic idea!!! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!!! And bless you for your thoughtfulness. The cards are completely adorable :)
What an amazing idea! So much easier for those of us with limited coloring skills. I love the idea of supporting our teachers but I believe I will send cards to each grandchild to give to their teachers. Thank you once again Jennifer for your generous heart and love for your community and the sharing of those ideas. Have a blessed day.
Omg getting the rights to that book was brilliant because those stamps are amazing! Those cards and perfection and the ink blending for coloring is just beautiful. I love everything about this video!
You're just too brilliant and lovely for words, Jennifer! As a teacher I feel appreciated just watchin' your thoughtful creations. And so many time-saving tricks. Thanks for teachin' me!
I love that book, I read it to my kids when they were little and they’re now 17 and 19! Such fond memories. Also, I’m a teacher, so your thoughts are so appreciated. Teaching is a hard job, especially these days. I’m a special ed teacher, and some of my younger kids couldn’t really access on line learning very well. My heart was breaking all spring time. I live in Vermont, though, and we have a pretty low Covid population (at least for now), so we’re back in school for 60% of the school day. Being with the kids in person is so much better, even though the Covid anxiety is still there. Thank goodness for stamping, though, because that was my sanity all spring and summer. Thank you for being such an inspiration and such a generous person! You are appreciated! Your kids’ teachers will treasure these!
Oh my goodness, just brilliant! What an awesome technique for those of us not so great with Copic coloring! Thank you so much for all your effort and time making this video! Can’t wait to try it. Hugs, Gina P.
Thank you for this video showing your favorite masked coloring tricks for making cards! As always I always learn something new! Have a great weekend & stay safe!💗
I always love your videos! You are so creative and generous with your time to share with your RUclips family. I was excited to see you share the masking technique- I created some cards a couple weeks ago did the same idea. Fun!
All of these cards are amazing! How sweet and kind of you to make cards for every teacher! They will love it and appreciate your thoughtfulness. I love this technique and am definitely going to try it. I ordered most of the new sets. I can't wait to get mine. Thanks for sharing!💕
I love these cards and the playful, storybook look of them. I think I might try this technique if the images aren't too fiddly to cut. I don't love fussy cutting. Thanks for the video and for teaching me something new.
I really like your book idea. So inspiring. You are such a great person and inspiration to myself and other crafters. Thank you for sharing such great tips.
I will be trying this technique for sure. I haven’t done any craft for so long but after watching this I feel motivated and excited to get out my craft supplies. 😊
You’re brilliant! I do love to color images; however, lately I am getting frustrated to achieve that look. I do recall that you have said this as well. What a magnificent solution. Thank you for the inspiration🙏
Hi Jennifer, these cards are so beautiful and the trick with masking is genius. I'm really not good at fussy cutting despite trying numerous times over the years BUT I'm determined to give it another try. I HAVE to master this technique to try this method. What a timesaver. Thank you for all your inspirational ideas and videos. ❤
Brilliant! I am going to try this technique. I'm glad you showed this process on several different card layouts, especially the one with the deer and tree image changing the background from a winter to summer scene.
Jennifer, your cards are cute as can be but what really blows me away is the kindness you share with others! I know this labor of love well as I make and share as much as possible. These cards are gorgeous Jennifer and the teachers that receive these will be blessed with your kindness. Xx
