Mikage is my favorite character from Utena and I can't tell you how much this gorgeous and emotional animatic makes my heart sing. Just as dark, twisted and tragic as the Black Rose Arc itself. I found it very moving to watch! (over and over and over)
THIS IS SO GOOD. your art style is so so so yummy, i love the way you use colors, and also in this amv specifically i am LOVING all the like. reinvention and combination of symbols from canon. like anthy-as-mamiya burning the photograph (the memory!!!) of true-mamiya, with the candelabra that mikage uses to burn down the building (and that's used in the three-candles metaphor in episode 30) even, like that scene in particular was DIABOLICAL
