- Hi loves! This is a day in the life of me going to a 12 hour shift in the postpartum unit. I am a level 3 nursing student hopefully graduating in August! If any of you are nursing students, comment down below and let me know!

Hi, my cousin sister also migrated to Canada recently and she was telling me how she wants to do nursing but she is afraid of nursing is too hard to deal with. Even I myself want to do nursing but probably a UK degree but just want to know how is nursing and how long is your course?
@@rue6614 I’m doing nursing in Canada. There’s an RPN program which is 2.5 years and RN program which is 4 years. Neither one are easy and both require lots of studying but in the end it’s worth it! :) hope this helps

Yesss shifts are so long and night ones are so hard when you can’t sleep afterwards and it breaks your schedule so much that you can’t sleep during the day they are the worst but Inshallah IT WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE END and juggling that with vlogging you are amazingly amazing if that’s a word 😂 you definitely inspire a lot of people and motivating ❤️hope you have a good day :) Inshallah you will make it through girl!!!!!!!!!!! My mum used to be a routine ward nurse at the same hospital I’m working in as a registrar!
I have been asking this question lately not being mean or anything but I have always wondered now more than ever are those in the field in it for paychecks or for actually helping people or they live to help . The reason I ask is because now a days the medical establishment is nothing but all about the money now a days and I have worked in it as a ma and cna but for me personally I got in to help people don’t care about the check but just something I’m wondering more I know many that just think about the paycheck and I believe that’s a big issue
loren, My intution tells me you need to know this, You are Enough, you always were. You dont need to be perfect, your smart... you are not too senstive... trust your intution if something feels off ...it is...wether it be friends, family or whomever ,dont let people put you down.

Believe it or not but night shift takes 24 hours in Turkey. I am also a nurse who struggle overloading

As nursing students do you do any hands-on work with patients ? And do you get paid at least for doing that work? Sorry if this is intrusive. It’s just such hard work so I can’t imagine not getting paid even if you are a student.
Hi love! Yes we get to do anything the nurse does unless we don’t feel comfortable with it. No we don’t get paid but it’s just the reality of being a student! 😩

How is it like to be a Medical assistant? What are your tasks like?
@@Youssra___ We are the ones that room the patients, take vital signs, check patients in and out, schedule appts., take payments, check insurance verifications. We take blood, give injections. We are half clinical and half administration work if that makes sense.
@@Youssra___ It is awesome. I love my job. Although I am not certified yet and can only do the administrative portion, it is still fun.
@@victoriawick1 Yes it does makes sense. It is just like in The Netherlands. I used to work that for some 4 years. I did not find it challenging enough so I quit. I was just wondering if it is the same everywhere. In The Netherlands the main task of a medical assistant is to filter the urgency of a patiënts case so it is easier for the doctor to see the most urgent one first. We filtered them by asking out complaints and that way knowing what it may be that they have. But we never diagnosed.
