- Nursing school is tough and we all have instances when we feel imposter syndrome. To those who are facing imposter syndrome/Penn Face, a reminder that you are worthy. Even though I still don't know what the future will bring, I wanted to show you a day in my life as a nursing student with 7am clinicals on a Saturday. Thank you so much for watching. I read this article on the Daily Pennsylvanian saying that Nursing students are the hardest working students at Penn. Honestly, I really do believe that nursing students are the most dedicated undergraduates at Penn. After all, we do take two of the hardest classes here at Penn and occasionally will have to balance practically a part-time job (clinicals) in addition to classes. More on this later, but fr shoutout to all the nurses out there. Healthcare heroes 🥰

Im currently in high school but i have very strong aspirations to becoming a nurse. People ask me the same question all the time. For me, I enjoy the fact that i can connect with so many people simply by giving them medications or injections and making sure they stay happy and healthy. its important to me that Im able to help, and i feel that i can thrive as a nurse. This is how we all should feel. I look up to all those nurses who sacrifice hours upon hours of their time for the sake of the health and happiness of strangers in need. You're doing great! lol bc of the time crunch and the mask, i just do eyebrows and eyes. i also just put on some lip balm!
currently in my second year of nursing school (australia) and I'm feeling burnt out already with clinicals and assignment overload 😓 I feel like my nursing friends have it all together and know so much about topics that I don't and it makes me wonder if I'm cut out to be a nurse 🥲

Breakfast is NOT the most important meal of the day, you could run in a water or black coffee stomach and you probably be less lathargic and more concentrated after 5 weeks on it l,
Not everyone tho.,It's better not to skip breakfast especially when you have a tough profession
@@7EternalLuv no, it's better to run on a water stomach or coffee, so you would not have a crash after 2hours, lunch is the one you want and need!
@@fionaquinn8777 Maybe you're also right but for me,it's tough without breakfast cause I get hungry easily and sometimes lunch break will be late for nursing
@@7EternalLuv fair enough, I guess, you have to do what ever it takes to stay up, hopefully you are taking care of yourself (as a nurse) so you can take care of us in time of need! 😊
