- In this video, I take you around on a typical Thursday, to show you what an actual day in the life of an MIT student is. I talk about research opportunities (UROPs), taking time to go to the gym, and how I navigate the giant workload, classes, and problem sets. I am an Aerospace Engineering undergraduate student, and I am also minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Management. My humanities concentration is Economics. MIT is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which borders Boston.
All drone shots were taken on the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, and all TimeWarp shots were taken on the GoPro Hero 7.

It's amazing how stress levels vary from country to country
My friends in Dubai and Qatar find 2-3 hours of classes per day stressful
My friends in India and Japan find 7-8 hours of classes per day normal
Only if we experience life in other's shoes, would appreciate the amount of time we have
Megan Bailey in Morocco, 10 hours of classes is normal, we study like 8 hours in college and go for additional courses for 2 hours a minimum
depends on how hard the classes are ? ive had units with huge contact hours but theyre easier subjects, where as subjects with low contact hours require far more work. fuck off with these stupid subjective comments
Ikr, my engineering class timings are 9 hours with 2 hours of travelling. It's hard to use some time for myself with all the assignments, projects, volunteering events and committee responsibilities
@@kayaeki class is useless for engineering students. i wake up, go gym, study all day in my room. What am I going to learn travelling and sitting in class? By the time I get home all I'll want to do is shower eat and sleep. Won't even get to go to the gym either. Fuck that. Study from noon to 7 pm, take a 3 hour break, then study from 10 to 2 am. Wake up 8 am do it all again. you'll only find me in class if it's a quiz, midterm, exam or mandatory lab
lebanese univeristy faculty of engineering, classes daily from 8 to 6 or 8 to 4:30 with 2 hours of bus rides from home to class and a lot of material to study. But it's part of the journey :)

I liked it dude; As I'm also student of Civil Engineering at METU, I'm really curious about MIT one of the best Universities in the world that how its student's daily life would be? what they're doing and How they're successful in their classes? Keep it up bro 😊
Usually I say to applicants:
Most people, to graduate in four years, you'll do about 10 hours a day and totaling something like 50-60 hours a week in terms of lectures, medium-sized (30 +/- person) recitations, homework, papers, labs, etc.
So you can divide that up however you see fit. A lot of people will try hard not to work on a Saturday morning and Sunday morning and Friday night (that's all doable).
However you manage your day is up to you. Some semesters, it's more lectures; other semesters, more labs. Yet other semesters, it could be a team project.

in september (if im lucky enough) i will start at my new highschool in Lillestrøm, Norway that is focused on aerospace and aeronautic engineering. this is my dream and i've worked hard this senior highschool year to get good enough grades to get accepted in. the school is rated on of the top in Norway when it comes to grades and only has about 30 study places every year. the school is called Skedsmo VGS Flyfag. wish me luck :D

For internationals? Awesome grades (like near the top in your country), great achievements in extracurriculars, something to bring to the community.

Man there is a huge difference between Indian and American education system. The way you are managing everything is cool. Just one tip, the sensor on your DSLR needs some cleaning. At a small focal range, the dust particles show up.
