Hey Mark! Thanks for this video. I play Serenity Shadow as my main and had already made the switch to Longing Force for 7.1.1 because it's just more reliable, even if its peak DPS isn't quite as high. I do have a question though - you're getting about 2k more DPS out of this rotation than I am, and I'm not sure why. (The highest I've gotten on the 6.5M dummy is 29.5k, roughly.) Could the differential be a gear thing (I'm in 331 gear), or what else might I be missing? The rotation is so simple it's hard to screw up, after all.
For me I never use this tacticle,,I use the Leeching Strike tact where each 4 hits increase the critt.along with the Maul stun from stealth and time another stun when that wears off,,3-4 hits their pretty much dead then pop stealth as they freak out wait 3-4 seconds for shadowcraft to reset them bam,,finish them with more Leeching Strike hits with that tacticle,,thrash has to be the most horrible attack.
Should this work with a Serenity Shadow? I seem to keep running into an issue with either Force Potency or Squelch still being on cooldown when they should be available according to this rotation.

@@littletweeter1327 Mark's guide here is very bare-bones. Just in case this is all you know about the class, it's important to be aware that the cooldown of Recklessness is largely reduced by your dots critically hitting. 30 seconds is a LOT of time to have left on the cooldown. The only situation I can guess that would cause that much time to be left is if your dots simply aren't running. For example, maybe there's more than one target, you kill one and move on to another. If the first target died right after you applied your dots, and you move to the next target and don't immediately start your dots again but just stay in the rotation, then Recklessness will not be off cooldown the next time you come to it in the rotation. To keep your dots critting as much as possible, make sure your stats are where they should be (accuracy, alacrity, and crit), if you gear score is maxed (343) you should have around 3700 crit. Make sure you've chosen Hungering Force in the ability tree. And then making sure you have the correct tactical and legendary implants will help with the cooldown reduction as well.
I remember in the last iteration that there was 2 Death Fields, is that no longer as viable as its replacement? I've found it hard to keep death field up with Two Time Trouble
Wow I did the thrash spam before I knew it was optimal. But then before that I was spamming lacerate even on single targets, so I’m not exactly your textbook genius
No real point to Two Times Trouble anymore now that Saber Strike doesnt trigger anymore. Testing on 2M hp dummy it now has a higher TTK than Overwhelming Offense the general offensive tactical.
@@Biggsgaming Seems much easier than pyrotech with all its shenanigans, useful as they may be, you break your fingers trying to manage sholder cannon along the rest of the buttons.

Thoughts on leaching strike tactical? I usually run that, open with 4 (if it procs) leaching strikes then dots.

Probably a straight gear diff, you get a lot out of all the extra crit rating when you jump 10 ilvls

you *can* take two death fields, but I find more success with just taking the one with extra armor pen

I had heard that accuracy only matters in PvP not PvE, am I incorrect in this? do I need to raise my accuracy?
You need 110% in PvE, only 105% in PvP for white damage classes and 100% accuracy in PvP for force/tech (yellow) damage classes
