      +KEEGAN AntoNY that was actually funny even though I disagree with your 4. You think your 4 would beat this 4? Come on now

    • @keeganantony9745
      @keeganantony9745 8 лет назад

      Mike Gauer Draymond will manhandle the old man Melo, he is past it. Steph will bomb 3's from deep on CP3.... He manages to embarass him every time they play each other. Klay will take care of a 35 year old DWade both on the offense and defense. LeBron and Durant will go at each other. So yeah, i sincerely think they can beat this banana squad.

      Did you listen to the video. They did not place blame and actually asked for the violence to stop on BOTH sides and asked that more athletes go back to their communities and help, invest in rebuilding and making a better future.

      Cheri Konersmann I watched the entire show! If you don't think their speech was racist, you are part of the problem. Later in the show there was a mother and her two children that come on and gave a speech that addressed the REAL issues WE have in America. She didn't blame one white person for anything! In fact race wasn't even brought up!

    • @jacoblee5796
      @jacoblee5796 8 лет назад

      Really? This sounded pretty one sided to me! The mother and her two kids came out and set things straight. She spoke on the REAL problem we have in this country. IMO the speech right at the start of the show, was racist as hell! They name off a bunch of black people shot by police and not a one white person was named!?

    • @Sulkanator
      @Sulkanator 8 лет назад

      Jacob, I didn't watch any of the show. I just saw the excerpt above and what LeBron said was dead on. The violence has to stop. Violence before the police are involved; violence when the police are involved; and violence after the police are involved.

      Police are not targeting black people; they are targeting criminals. Police are in their legal right to put you down if you are a threat to them or the public. Stop breaking the law and fighting the police and you won't get shot.

    • @r.tyranetallie6152
      @r.tyranetallie6152 8 лет назад

      there are more white people being shot in america because america is predominantly white. but if you take 1 in 10 white people, and 1 in 10 black, there would be more blacks shot than white. look up the FBI statistics database.
      its right there, in plain sight. just think of it like a Bald eagle, vs a pigeon. a Bald eagle cannot be killed in any way more than a pigeon, because bald eagles are almost extinct, and pigeons are everywhere. Weird analogy yes, lol. but if you don't get that, you are stupid. and i'm not calling you stupid, i'm just calling you stupid if you don't understand the analogy.

      Well said talk without action is just that. Lebron net worth 400 million, does not have one company that produces USA made products to help in the neighborhoods he grew up in, although his foundation does take donations from people to help pay for some college bound kids. Most celebrities have there products they make made overseas for cheap unfair labor, rather then where they grew up, or take endorsements of mostly made overseas products for cheap cheap labor.
      It would be nice if some of them would step up and make products in the USA. In some of these inner cities that need the jobs.

    • @Janissi42
      @Janissi42 8 лет назад

      John Quincy Astor I care about that stuff. If you don't, then sit down in the corner. I'm a Black woman, and I can speak whatever I want. People are always trying to put duct tape over our mouths, but we aren't remaining quiet. Just because you don't like what I said, doesn't mean I have to be shut down. Where did I say where he had to mention hundreds of thousands of people. First of all, I'm not a man. Second of all, you need to learn respect and grow a pair. If you can have an intelligent conversations, then shut up. No, I'm not satisfied, and I stand by my comment.

    • @Janissi42
      @Janissi42 8 лет назад

      John Quincy Astor Who said anything about them mentioning ALL the people. Like I stated, the day of the Espy's was the one year anniversary of Sandra Bland's death, so naming her wouldn't have taken any time at all. Perhaps, you are one of those bitter Black men who think Black women should stand by you at all costs, but you aren't willing to reciprocate. You are what's wrong with a society that lacks comprehension skills. You took my comment out of context because YOU don't care, but I DO. Ignorance at it's best is what you represent. SMH.

    Agreed. Now can we get the four of y'all back up there to talk about how unacceptable it is that 73% of African American children are born out of wedlock and how the culture of fatherless children should not be perpetuated? And then can y'all ignite a fervent campaign with the goal of emphasizing strong, moral family values with a focus on education in the African-American culture? That will help immensely in alleviating some of the root problems in that community... without a doubt

    Very disappointed that they did not include Black women in the list of fatalities. The day the Espy's aired was the one-year anniversary of Sandra Bland's death. Black women have marched alongside Black men, but it's rarely if ever reciprocated. For them not to mention Sandra Bland, Rekia Boyd, Ayana Stanley, etc, is an oversight that is all too common.

    • @OblivionRecorderJr
      @OblivionRecorderJr 8 лет назад

      And it really makes no sense how people really sit there and say that because there are other blacks killing blacks that we shouldn't be discussing the matter of cops killing us. When a black man kills another black man, its a CRIME. When a black man kills a white man and vice versa, its a CRIME. There are plenty of groups and people that speak up against crime all the time. One of my favorite artists, Chance the Rapper holds an annual stop the violence march in chicago. Cops killing people is being talked about because that is a current issue that involves things like race and corruption in the police system which is a system thats supposed to be protecting citizens, not killing them. Crime is crime, and its has always happened and is something that needs to be addressed im not denying that. And I cant believe how people really try to justify cops killing people by saying, "dont resist arrest" and things like that. Since when did resisting arrest mean you have to die? Same for untaxed cigaretts? Selling CDs? Having an unlicensed gun also. Or even just switching lanes in traffic, or smoking a cigarette in your car. I am a black male who wants all crime to stop. And the black community does have to also better itself which im not denying. But i also want to address the corrupt systems that arent helping but worsening the problem too. Just sayin.

    "The morning after the ESPYs, ESPN commentator Bomani Jones noted this absence of white voices during an appearance on the show First Take. "What would Tom Brady feel about this? What does Peyton Manning feel about this?" he wondered. "If they said something, I bet you'd see more people responsive to change. This can't be the exclusive responsibility of four really good basketball players."
    "If white athletes step forward, then maybe a commitment to humanity and justice will come from the most powerful white people in sports: the team owners. Then we'd really be getting somewhere."

    The system is broken because strong men like these are distracted running around on a court chasing a ball instead of signing up to serve and protect their communities. This is probably a reflection of their inner guilt stemming from their career choice. They shouldn't feel guilty though because society and the free market evolved naturally how it did and it settled at different salaries for different careers like it did with the consent of the people. Athletes should reinvest their money into their cities through municipal bonds for trusted infrastructure projects that generate revenue by working with the city planners. When the bonds mature the athlete's will have their money back plus the interest planned for, the children will have a city with renewed infrastructure, and the city will have a potential ongoing revenue stream. I fail to believe that between teams like the Detroit Lions, Pistons, and Redwings that cities such as Flint Michigan can't get enough money circulating to maintain themselves. And not through charity, through wise investment and hard work of local or neighboring citizens. The problem is our federal government killed the families of many Middle Eastern children using drones so regardless of our local success our hard work might get blown up anyways from people avenging the death of their loved ones. Until then, Play Ball!

      There were 4 of them? are you an idol worshiper? do you know before every game Lebron does a satanic rituals? All of these men are flesh puppets who sold their talents and souls for fame and fortune. Do some research and wake up. A race war is being fed, and America is eating it up.

      ***** Christians dont do satanic signs before every game, wake up you have been fooled. You dont make it where he is on talent alone, you sell your talent to get there. Explain why a Christian does satanic hand gestures, then do some research idol worshiper. He knows exactly what he's done, he is a satanist, period.

      What do you suggest then? Keep this shit going and let them kill each other until maybe the next 9/11 sort of thing happen again and while they were busy pointing fingers and yelling what to do about this and that and not doing something about it their enemies are more than happy to destroy them anytime soon. Get real

    • @pauljoseph3081
      @pauljoseph3081 8 лет назад

      It won't stop coz they let it so. It's what they call freedom to protect themselves thing. But what they can do is to be more strict in authorizing people to buy guns or maybe limit it to some folks who really have death threats or someone who really needs protection and should have papers from the court and the local and national police. For illegal firearms, I would say they should make a implement a heavier punishment for that, be it Reclusión perpetua, a big penalty or even death penalty if there are other cases involve like murder etc. Well, I would leave it there coz first I'm not a lawer and am not in congress or senate to do that. Second, this is only a comment and we can say whatever we want. I'll leave that to their leaders, they better do something about it at least coz if they don't they don't know when will the next 9/11 will occur that's a bigger problem and hopefully they're not bussy shooting each other while it's about to happen.

    I hope they start a program to teach people how to behave around cops. That's what's getting people killed. Maybe they can teach people not to fight cops. Not to resist arrest. Not to make motions that could be perceived as reaching for a gun, or causing harm. So many unnecessary deaths could have been avoided, if the attitudes of those being stopped were less combative. So many unnecessary deaths could have been prevented, if people knew how to properly handle themselves during these times. I hope, they can educate those out there before they make the same mistakes as those names they chose to list at the beginning of this speech.

    • @anitasolomon2172

      You appear to be saying that EVERY SINGLE PERSON that has gotten killed is because they didn't know how to act. Are you Serious? If that is the case then why is it so many white people that are video taped doing the exact same thing (and there are a lot of those videos around) have not been senselessly killed, if that is your logic? Non-compliant, belligerent, refusing to even talk, quoting their rights, cussing, screaming, walking off, and let's not forget pointing a gun, having a knife, physically fighting the police, They have the tendency to walk away from these types of things, but don't let no uppity N..... talk back he gone die. (If you missed it that is how your logic sounds to me). I would never say that every black person that has had an encounter with the police acts properly, but I will also not say that every police officer handles their encounters with PEOPLE PERIOD the right way either. CAN YOU AT LEAST SAY THAT?

    • @scornfield8258
      @scornfield8258 8 лет назад

      That's an emotional response based on what the media feeds everyone. The "whites do the same thing and get away with it" is a fallacy. Whites that attack police with weapons get shot. Blacks don't get shot for "being belligerent". There have been cases of police officers killing blacks unjustly, and they have been prosecuted. But not EVERY situation where a white officer kills a black person should end up on the front page inciting mass protests. We have lost the ability to think objectively and look at each situation independently. The media now controls exactly how people feel and act. Keep eating it up.

    • @anitasolomon2172
      @anitasolomon2172 8 лет назад +1

      Emotional huh... You could be right since I'm in it. But what you don't really get is that yes the media is hyping it up I agree, but they are broadcasting what we have been living, I'm 52yrs old and what the media is showing you is what happens in life, you can believe that our not if you want doesn't matter I know this truth. I also know that it's sometimes hard for someone who may not experience something to actually get it..... But I got no response to the fact that no one will admit to both sides having faults, it takes 2.

      +Isaiah From the Nati Not segregation, anybody can join the league regardless of race and anybody can watch it. But we need to control it, just like all these rappers need to leave their record labels and create their own. It's not equality when whites own and control all the institutions blacks are the majority in. It's whites dominating the black economy and black talent being exploited.
