This isn't a shooter game anymore. Guns are the weakest weapons in the game. This game is more of a joke. Most RUclipsrs and streamers abuse the MMR system to make their videos.

The always on mic option does catch my voice and activates, but when i select ptt it doesn't work and i can't talk
Have you tried changing the keybind for PTT? I was having an issue, but after I changed the keybind it fixed it for me.
