Pretty good, but I would recommend alarm tripmines as well. The burn damage got increased by a ton, theres loads of barrels people don't know of in the new maps, and they can double up as a way to burn downed hunters. I'd also pay a bit extra and just say to grab a throwing spear - you already have a crossbow for silent kills on hives, and it kills bosses way faster - and you can actually use it on players confidently.

When i started playing on pc around a week ago i was pretty bad, on console i was a solid 4-5 stars but in pc i was strugling in 2. I Heard that i needed to use the same lodaout always to get uses to It and the game and It worked! I always use the centenial trauma with bleed ammo and levering and a hand crossbow with normal and Venom, then a derringer and the rest is Up to you. I improved so much and i love the versatility of the lodaout, now im in 3 stars and working my way Up to 4. I like to see how you perform with a similar lodaout in the video. Very good btw!

*Insane!* 🤯 your shots with the Hand Crossbow is nutty! Love this video, Bro! Have you tried Dualies this update? I hated them before, but now they’re so good! Nice tip with the 2x Regen. I’ve been using small Vit Shots with 3 big bars and they’re much faster now.
@@madmeaty9445 Me either, but they’ve reduced recoil and increased accuracy to put them on par with the shotgun buff. Just use the Dual Conversions, they actually hit where you want them to now. I generally enjoy Dualies now to where I hated them before. I’d like to see how you fair with them in a video sometime.
Not sure if you know this, but the first hunter in the free roster will have either a frontier or the ranger guaranteed. So you don't need to purchase the primary and medkit which will save you ~70 bucks per loadout. It does add a few extra steps to build a loadout and stuff but it can greatly reduce your overall spending. Sometimes the second hunter can roll a Marathon too
I think for tools and consumables the best/cheapest is probably flare traps and decoy fuses u can set people on fire when u down put a trap on top and shoot it or just use them normally and decoy fuses cus theres never been a moment they dont come in handy and if u need chokes if u playing with a duo/trio bring a choke beetle good for recon and putting out your homies or just making a sound trap
Another bell I never fail to ring is on the northernmost shack in Goddard Docks on Lawson Delta. That one wakes you right up when you spawn there and ring a bell only a couple of seconds into the match 😂 1.6k hours, 5-6 star btw. Still consider bells a major threat 😅
@@LydiaOfTheNorth 2 games on EU and 2 on US East. I'm not a full time hunt content creator and unfortunately my time is limited, which means I only get to play early morning or late at night, and sometimes EU servers are empty so I have to play US East if I want a lobby with people in it.
Just so you know, concertina traps are not slowing people down as much as they should. That means they escape the poison cloud. You are better off with double beartrap/alerts at the moment until it is patched.
The reason they slowed you down as much as they "should" was because you would previously rubberband back into them, they patched it. Still, the alerts burning a whole bar and beartraps are great.
As someone whol played the swift with Hv almost exclusively the ammo nerf really sucks the big one as there are plenty more op things in need of a nerf in Hunt....

@@joshuadmarion and as solo you get only chance upon revive with Necro, so you can't rez yourself for as long as you have any bars left. It's a great change so don't have to babysit a dead for too long and prevents purposeful deranking

I have a very similar loadout, the only diff is my windfield goes silencer, crossbow with fire bolt instead of regular, keep chaos( love iit!!) and instead of traps, bear trap and a spear. What do you think? Thx!!!!
@@mateobadajoz Fire on the mini crossbow is a great choice, burn those downed hunters 😁 I haven't used chaos bolts before so thought I would give them a bash. Haven't used much of the silenced winfield, but now that the ironsights got a buff might need to try it out. 👍

You are absolutely right, the spear is a beast. If money isn't an issue then the spear is the best choice. But I have used the spear to death, and as this is a budget loadout I wanted to use my favourite tool the Throwing axes :)
Spear is better but the axes are half the price and provide the same utility for clearing out generic AI. 150 for a Spear can add up rather fast when you're low on money. And since the video is showcasing budget loadouts it makes sense to go for the axes. You can kit out 2 hunters(techinally 2.5) with axes vs 1 Spear. The throwing knives are great, and cheaper than the axes; but they can't 1 shot as consistently as the axes. So axes arw the go to for most budget loadouts.
I do, but I haven't used twitch in a long time. I think I noticed a notification from you on twitch. I do plan on using twitch again in the future, but currently Its not possible for me to be playing hunt for several hours at a time.

I never understood whats the he point of taking 2 small regens instead of normals. If you dont have money, you dont spend 200+ on nades, throwing axes and other stuff and buy normal shots instead.

This game is so annoying no one ever dies but I get 1 tapped constantly and on Xbox the game is so bad can't even change fov

It's nice to have two 5 minutes of regen vs 10 minutes wasted on a short fight. It's also like 80 bucks vs 104 bucks

I’ve finally hit 6 star mmr and I’m really enjoying using a bow and shotgun but this video made me realise maybe im not as good as I originally thought 😂
