So to find out which area suites you the best, I have split the city right down the middle for a 2 part video series. In this video we will cover , West of Hyde Park Blvd or moving towards the water. We talk about everything here, the characteristics of each neighbor hood, where you are in proximity to amenities, the water and downtown Niagara Falls NY!

I have family in Niagara Falls, NY. And yeah-Iβve been saying for decades that a city connected to the Falls should NOT look like this. So much tourist money. Just really unfortunate.

i grew up in Lancaster and have wonderful memories. Miss it so much. Both my golden retrievers came from that area.

Ten years ago, working in Buffalo, I rented an apt in an old building (since torn down) across from the Seneca Casino, which is less than 2 blocks from the falls. Mr. Davis is telling the truth that Niagara Falls is hit and miss, block to block, which is such a shame because the people are friendly. For me, the magnificent natural attributes were wonderful. The approach to the falls on the US side is amazing, and the hiking opportunities along the river are great.
The drive to Buffalo is only about 20 minutes most, all highway. It would be nice to see this city revitalized.
The parks and trails along the gorge are amazing, and all the neighborhoods along there should do well in the coming years because the Robert Moses Thruway that blocked waterfront access is now gone.
