Introduction to the Encoded Archival Description (2024-05-21)

SAA's Technical Subcommittee on Encoded Archival Standards (TS-EAS) hosted a webinar on May 21, 2024 to introduce the Encoded Archival Description (EAD) standard to audiences in East Asia. This session provided an overview of international archival descriptive standards, with examples of their implementation in community-supported open source systems. Kerstin Arnold and Karin Bredenberg of TS-EAS were the speakers for this session.
