More than 1 low coming to NZ next 6 days

- If you need rain then there is some (patchy) good news. A low will cross NZ on Wednesday with a front, then another low (possibly larger) may come in by next Monday.
The chaotic set-up feels like Autumn and brings a variety of temperatures over the coming week in some places due to the mixture of airflows. Northerlies, westerlies, easterlies and southerlies are all in the mix with sub-Antarctic and sub-tropical airflows also in the forecast.
It’s generally milder this week than last week. Rainfall chances are there for dry regions - but please note, this is not a silver bullet to fix dry conditions, but it should be a little helpful rain to those who need it. I the low doesn't do it this week, hopefully the next system on Monday will.
We have a detailed rain and temperature forecast through to Monday. - Развлечения
Great job Phil. Your the most accurate person I've ever seen. I'm in Queensland but I watch both reports you put out. Thank you for your hard work. God bless.
Anthony.
Thanks Anthony, I really appreciate that!
@@WeatherWatchTV you are very welcome Bud.
Thank you for the weather report, have a nice evening.
Wouldnt mind some of that cool New Zealand weather. Cape york Queensland here. Have a good day.
Thank you 👍
Phil ,you are the best weather man there is, for that farming community, shame you’re not on television one.
Thanks very much :)
Morning team , y’all spot on for rain in Levin this morning bag on 6am as shown in that brilliant app ( compared to another one ) much more reliable
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤟🏼🤙🏼🖖🏼
Awesome, thank you for the great feedback!
Paradise south island of New Zealand ☀️🍃☕👄🚬
Thank you for the update and warmth, I know that we have to have cold weather but this is lovely. Plus we have fluffy towels for a change, so we won't have to use the dryer. Yipee. Take care.
The best thing about this channel is , Phil not only explains what is happening with the weather be also explains why it’s happening…
Thanks for that - yeah it's important people understand what drives the weather, as it helps explain why your local forecast might be wrong sometimes.
Thanks phil x
Awesome brother thank you 👍🏾 👍🏾 👍🏾 👍🏾
Looks like this winter is going to be a bit colder than we've had the past few years.
Very cloudy in Auckland today
Great work
G.O.A.T
Very kind! :)
⛈
Monday, when was the last time there was map that looked like that.
A long time - but I'm skeptical it will hold like that
There s ems to be a issue with a weather app at the moment, it’s going to a white screen?
It should be fixed now - sorry about that
You should do daily updates.
Next update 15/5/24
Why didnt u say lots of lows coming to nz than more than 1 maybe 2 maybe more
Because I'm highly skeptical that Monday set-up will remain like that
What is the projected rainfall for the South Island over the winter season?
We don't believe in long range forecasts for NZ as they tend to be appalling, but generally speaking the neutral set up after an El Nino summer means we expect it to lean drier than average to start with but has the chances of evening up as we go towards spring.
@@WeatherWatchTV Yep I know it's impossible to tell. Was just wondering if we have a low moisture winter, the next Summer could be even worse than this previous Summer, that's if this trend continues.
Gee, when I thought the NZ economy was going to collapse.
