The Cyclops is by far my favorite Ray Harryhausen creation, and that bust looks *incredible*. Thank you for continuing to share your film passion with the rest of us, John!
Thank you for the video! As a child growing up in the early 80s I had Jason and the Argonauts and Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger out from the local independent video library as often as I was allowed (very indulgent grandma- she’s still going strong, sadly not the case of the video library!) and then one day to be told by my grandad- ‘Come on! Quick, Sinbad is on TV!’ I ran into their house to watch it… only to discover it was a whole new film! And 7th voyage is such a treat- a feast! And the relentless, characterful foe of the Cyclops is so key to it! I love the little flick of his hand to shut the top hatch of the cage! And how he rests his hands on his haunches a bit to observe his catch! Absolutely brilliant!
He's beautiful, John! He scared the pants off me when I was a wee one. He's been my favorite Harryhausen character ever since. These should be in a permanent museum.
Wow that’s. Impressive, we need a Kali bust so I can hold it up like they do in the film ! I love the way the cyclops shuts the door on his cage, just casually flicks it with his fingers, haha 😅
Wonderful. I love the Cyclops. Saw the movie twice (second time immediately after the first, when one could just stay in the cinema) with my parents in 1975 for a re-issue. I've had a Talos statue for many years, very faithful to the original.
This is my favourite monster & movie. I already have the Kraken Bust & ordered the Bust of the cyclops straight away. The OG Clash of the titans movie is my joint first favorites Harryhausen movie. Cannot wait to see what bust the foundation going to announce next. Once again thank you for all you have done with the foundation and helping me relive memories from when I was a child.
Great piece! Had the honor of meeting Ray and getting his autograph. What a surreal moment to meet the man who inspired so many others that I’ve enjoyed watching their creatures brought to life.
@@WalshBros oh yes! it’s framed with the newspaper photo of him taken for the visiting interview. Would have preferred a photo with him but this was before the coolness of cell phones.
Wow John, he is fantastic. I always enjoy your Harryhausen unboxing videos. I hope there will be some large busts from Clash of the Titans. I must say the mini Cyclops looks superb.
My most anticipated release yet from Star Ace! So impressed by all the detail especially in the mouth. Definitely going to be a focal point in my collection. Cannot wait for him to ship!
@@WalshBros Oh boy, at the top of the list would have to be Medusa right? That head of serpents would be terrifying as a bust. Close second would be a monochrome Rhedosaurus.
@@WalshBros I just received my Cyclops bust and WOW!!!! This guy is incredible!!!! Easily my favorite piece Star Ace has put out and might even be a favorite piece in my overall movie memorabilia collection. Mentioned you in my post on Instagram with my Star Ace Harryhausen. Keep up the great work with these reviews!
These Harryhausen statues are incredible. The quality and detail by Star Ace is phenomenal. And I love your unboxing videos. Would love to have this piece. Can't wait for your next one.
Oh wow. That's fantastic. Shame Ray didn't create a large bust for close ups like the Kraken in Clash of the Titans. Would dearly love to own one of these but my budget just can't stretch to such things John. Need to win the lottery or something 🤔 😂😂😂😂
Yes that's true. The budget on Clash was the largest Ray had. I'm sure he would have loved to have created large close-up models for every creature. I wish he had.
Wow, that's impressive. I'm willing to bet they make a Medusa bust, I mean she's only a head for most of Clash of the Titans anyway. Looking forward to what else they do.
Thank you for mentioning me. Always an honour to be a small part of the Legendary Harryhausen legacy:) As always Amazing Review Video! :)
You may say it’s a small part but fans and us at the Foundation believe your work is of paramount importance to these releases.
@@WalshBros Thank you for kind words 🙂🙏
This bust is beautiful! I’m adding it to my collection very soon to go with the deluxe diorama of cyclops I have ! Great review
Thanks Luke.

Thanks for being part of the community here, Michael.
Awesome piece from Star Ace and a great unboxing video!
thanks Christelle
I remember watching all of those old classics. They were exciting.
Fantastic movie memories that stay with me. Never gets old and always entertaining.
You're so right a true classic lives forever.
Oh wow, that looks amazing! I have loved the Cyclops from Seventh Voyage Of Sinbad since I was a child! Excellent work
Thank you.

Greatness in the family. I love it.
A splendid bust of the iconic cyclops. For me the major star of the seventh voyage of sinbad.
I agree, Ian. He's one of those cinematic characters that, even in silhouette you can recognise.
Even the base is a work of art! Incredible as always, thanks for the unboxing.
I agree. The base needs its own stand-alone video!
That's an amazing looking cyclops. Great video as well.
Cheers, Mark.
Amazing ❤ Always loved the Cyclops!
Thanks

Yes, this is museum standard. I future years, I have no doubt these will be displayed to adoring crowds.
Thanks - your love for HH is tangible.
Thanks. I appreciate that.

Thanks Jamie. That is a good shout for the Kali head too.

Great days to get to see the second screening by staying put. How wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
@@WalshBros To be honest, I think my dad wanted to sit there twice too
Absolutely incredible and so faithful in likeness to the film Cyclops. Exquisite.
Yes a spooky giant replica.
My favorite Harryhausen creature. Santa Claus, you now know what I want most for this Christmas! 😃
Only it you not been naughty.

This bust looks great, I can't wait to see what other Harryhausen items are released in the near future. Keep up the good work, John.
Thanks Tom.
I love that bust! The details are excellent!!!
Thanks.
A real treat, thank you for the video.

A great choice for your collection. What other bust from the Harryhausen universe would you like to see next?

@@wanderthisworld97 Nice choices. Medusa has come up before but not the Rhedosaurus!

Thanks, Steven. These busts are truly epic.
Just got mine from FedEx today!!! PS, love your book on Escape from New York!!
Nice!! I’ve just unboxed The Kraken bust for a new video!
@WalshBros I need to get The Kracken bust. I look forward to your video on that.
This is another amazing piece! I just love how you continue to honor the legacy of Harryhausen's work.
Thanks. Love love making these videos too.
I was not interested in this until I saw how great the quality and size was. Would love to be the winner to add to my other Cyclops figures.
Yes, I like to give full access to the models on these videos to help people make their minds up. He's a beauty alright.
Another amazing piece. I would love something like this in my collection 😊
It would make a great centre piece.
Freakin' awesome!
Amazing
It’s massive!
haha yes he is massive.
Still hope the dragon is next to be made into a model by Star Ace after the two horn cyclops
Yes I agree the dragon needs to make an appearance.

Will there ever be a unboxing video on the giant crab from mysterious island?
We hope to bring all of the Harryhausen creatures to life here. So yes, hopefully.
Love it! Do you know if they do the Medusa please? Something I've always wanted!
Great call. I’d love to see the Gorgons head full sized. 🐍
Yes very nice but a poseable figure would be immense.
Looks great! I still need to get Medusa first but it's a bit hard to find for retail price. Wonder if it's sold out?
She may well be sold out now. Take a look on Ebay too.
@@WalshBros thank you, yes i did. They're around 400 there, non deluxe Edition 😳
John, any updates on the force of the trojans? It was announced 5 yrs ago and still nothing? Btw ordered your book and expect it early next month :)
It's a long and slow road, but we make a few steps forward all the time.
Is there a bust of Barani? 😂
Baronni and his lamp would be great!

I vote for the Gorgon too!
