In your video, it's easy to compute the inverse propensity score for each group: group1=1/ps, group2=1/(1-ps). But if the treatment group has more than 3 categories, how can I compute it?
Many people do matching instead of IPTW when you have more than 2 treatment groups, for example A vs C, B vs C (separate matching). If you want to use IPTW, you need to use multinomial logistic regression to compute PS for A, PS for B, PS for C is computed by 1-PS for A - PS for B. Then create weight as the inverse of (PS for A) for a person who actually used A, (PS for B) for a person who used B, and (1-PS for A - PS for B) for a person who used C.
