Solemn Vanguard I have a few ideas on how to beat ziegenburg myself but ik it's difficult for a lot of decks creating some really hard match ups. As for ur ztb video I play jet myself I'd say one really good strategy is keeping them at 2 damage and baiting out a potential sebreeze as it will eat their counter blast and jet gs on stride won't go off giving u time to counter attack. That's about it. (I however don't play sebreeze lmao)
This video pretty much says: “Aichi Sendou’s play style & his avatar Blaster Blade manhandles, eats Chrono’s ZTB for breakfast, lunch & dinner & makes them his bitch as he hits all but one of the bullet points”
Getting Rid of Chrono Dran is huge. If you can get first stride and get rid of it or do that before first stride you are ahead. Their first stride is commonly Split pegasus. They time leap dran into Jet G and Transit or the unflipping grade 1. Then they breakdown Jet G into Cruising and Spearhead Unicorn. That one chroo dran got them a full column and another grade 2 as well. Cruising and Transit will both draw 2 and Spearhead will allow multi attacking. It can be a pretty strong first stride. Do note this turn takes 3cb for everything if they go for transit so if you are afraid of this limit their damage. Now they can do the turn with 2 cb thanks to the unflipping grade 1. However if they use this, due to this grade 1's effect, they will lose a booster. This at least doesn't allow them to draw as much. It is a lot like Nightrose or Altmile in the fact that the more damage you give them the more they can do to you , especially first stride.
It’s funny in testing decks like ZTB have the HARDEST time trying to deal with my gurguit decks new gurguit Helios constantly forcing them to waste important grade 0s when they are close to dieing while I plus like a bitch just completely murders them and I love that beautiful bastard for it
Alain Chen Duplex is often a one-of in the deck, you can time leap your Chrono Dran into Chronojet then use Split Pegasus to drop it down into Duplex. As for Rewind Tiger, it's an 8k base so it's terrible to ride, and while it gets you a card in hand Cruising Dragon does it better. Also Cruising Dragon can be used multiple times, whereas Rewind Tiger is only on call. Finally, Rewind's bind skill can be detrimental if it binds something useful like a heal or a PG, so it's best not to take that risk. Yes you could argue that you use Huang Long so add any bound card to hand but a) that card is a waste of precious space in the G zone for what it does, and b) the pg can bind itself and your heals anyways so they'll be in the bind zone ready for Huang Long plays. So basically, Duplex is useful, and Rewind Tiger is outclassed in Chronojet ZTB by Cruising, especially since the deck doesn't have an early game strategy unlike decks like Demiurge
Nathan Young I did say the deck doesn't have an early game strategy. The fact that Rewind Tiger isn't GB restricted makes absolutely no difference in Chronojet ZTB because Chronojet ZTB will 100% of the time aim to get to GB, therefore making your Rewind Tiger replacements better. On the other hand, I explained in my previous comment exactly why Rewind Tiger's skill is very detrimental to the deck - because it can take key cards out of the game that you didn't want removed. Lastly, you might say that you'd want to run 4 Rewind Tiger in a pre-GBT12 deck. First of all, there's only a week till GBT12 comes out so wait for it. Secondly, even if you didn't have access to Unicorn you'd still run copies of Manish and Chronospin serpent instead of Tiger for their abilities that make them strong against control decks and rush decks respectively So if you want to run Rewind then go ahead, but there will come a time when you bind an Arka or heal off the top of your deck and it'll come back to bite you when you need it most

I am gonna spit out how too stupid ztb is. While a opponent only he started literally with 1 damage guarding all the way to stride turn. And thank to a little luck and the new support he netted so much advantage that on his first stride he more than enough cards to loop heals back with ululu guard and still make full board swarm and take me to 5 (playing garmore) i see there some stuff ztb will have to take bann hammer too. But doubt deity of still water will get banned.
First, I’m not worried. It’s just that a fellow utuber of mine, who players ZTB, uses that card heavily and that, combined with the rest of the cards u mentioned, always causes me to lose(when I play kouen). Secondly, I would love to do a collab with u in the future! Is that possible?
Solemn Vanguard Rewind tiger is still used in many ztb decks as it can counter rush in the g2 phase of the game chronospin serpent is a nice 10k beat stick but rewind helps deck thin draw a card and becomes a 10k himself if you wondering what's his use after that he can be used to intercept or used for slipt skill to call 2 transit dragons
Why do ZTB players even use Gear Groovy anymore? No lists I've seen run Huang Long anymore, so there's almost no advantage there. No-one runs the GB8 so you don't need his ability to accelerate the G flip. Without those benefits, Gearnext is clearly the better card, so why not just max out on Gear Next and run more Avenir Phoenix for when you need it? If you have extra space in the G zone, run 2 Chronoscommand revolution for the instant win against combo piece decks like Kagero and Genesis
Power from Jet G GB2 is too good to ignore. Revolution is too costly for juz a field wipe, not worth it to waste 1 stride turn that u can gain more advantage with other strides. If you want a lil bit of control, playing duplex dragon should be enough

oh i just thought of a tip, when avenir reveals 5 normal units guard at least a 2 pass because triggers are very likely because it does not shuffle.

My first stride is always that Split Pegasus in my ZTB deck. Every time my Dran gets nuked, I will be forced to use Avenir Phoenix as a first stride.
