I so admire your consistency! You've inspired me to do more art journaling--it gets me out of my head and in touch with my intuition. Looks like it works that way for you too. Keep going with colors and paint! :-)
I'm so glad I came across your account!! We have very different styles but I think we have the same mentality when it comes to sketchbooks which is so nice to see ❤❤
Just came across your yt, searching for art journaling. I love your style- seriously. I’m pretty newish to experimenting with anything outside just a pencil and a piece of paper afa traditional art goes, but I have gotten some watercolors, gouache, poscas, tomboes, a few neocolors. I LOVE how you use the neocolors. Simple, but strong lines like you know what you’re doing. I didn’t think I wanted the primary color set, but I think I do now. Anyway, I have a question or a few questions, could you make a video showing your thought process while doing abstract art? I feel like I could learn from that because I like the way you do it, the way your color is well, But I just feel like I would make a big mess. I’m kind of a perfectionist, even when I try to make a simple sketch for a painting or something, I end up going all in the sketch and zoning out and forgetting that I was gonna paint it. Lol Anyway, I really want to try abstract art and wonder what kind of paint you use, what you’re thinking as you paint etc. Also, at 10:38 or 1048, you wrote white over black. What did you use for that black part and then how did your white stay so opaque, what is that? Sorry this turned into a book.
hello! i will definitely keep your questions in mind for a future video! for the black pages I will usually use an acrylic paint or black calligraphy ink (also called india ink) for the white words I use a posca pen. happy journaling :)
I LOVE THIS! like you don't pressure yourself into making PERFECT art. and idk why but that just makes me happy :)
Same! This video has good vibes
I like your idea of making a page a day. You've inspired me to get started! Thanks!
Your art is so playful and also your “thinking” about you and your feelings. So free, if that makes sense.❤️
