My pc isn’t letting me download realtek audio console
When I try it just says error. I tried with another audio like app but it said the same thing. Then I tried with roblox and it instantly started downloading

This wouldn't be a problem because when I bought my headset I planned on using it for my Xbox so i tossed the splitter cable that it came with but now I sold my Xbox and bought a pc for college and I can't use the microphone that it came with.
I did the exact same thing

so my mic is only picking up the in game noise not my own voice as audio.
Check the in game settings as well
doesnt work on a desktop pc which has two 3.5 mm ports, one for headset/output and one for microphone/input.
Go into the advanced audio settings and make sure both the input and output are enabled

@@clownzify1579 Well, sadly, tried redownloading the drivers, didn't work... Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, didn't work...
With a computer restart between each step also to "validate" the said step...
Welp, too bad! I'll buy a splitter I guess, but for now, time to replug the old headset and use its mic whilst using the new one for the headphones xD

@@PunkPried no problem, and yea I assume some people dont have those settings and thats unfortunate because it would help a lot but if you need a splitter I have a couple good ones I can recommend

@@PunkPried i used the ones from amazon called CANFON 3.5 dual splitter its pretty good quality and used it for 2 years
